Sunright is always a good option for milk tea! The service is relatively fast too, I don't think I've ever waited longer than 5 minutes for my order. My favorite drink from Sunright is the Ceylon Milk Tea (50% sweet), or Jasmine Milk Tea. I like adding the mochi topping to my milk teas since its chewy, and gives the drink a bit more texture! I've tried a few of their fruit teas, but I personally don't enjoy it as much as the milk teas since they're a bit more on the sweeter side. Something different about this location is that they slightly have seating! No tables, but there's a platform where customers usually sit and hang out for a bit. read more

I've been here a few times with friends and tried a few of their different drinks. Strawberry Matcha Latte: Premium matcha from Japan combined with four season oolong tea, layered with organic milk and fresh strawberries. (2/5) I usually enjoy this drink at other establishments, but I don't think they executed this very well here. Lemon Jasmine Tea: Fragrant jasmine tea mixed with freshly squeezed lemon juice and served with lemon slices. (3/5). Strong tart lemon flavor. Cute boba place. This was my first time trying Sunright & my go to is always a black milk tea at a new spot. I tried 75% sweet, no ice boba milk tea. The sweetness was comparable to Happy Lemon. (For pure tea lovers I would recommend 50% or less.) I personally wished the tea was stronger. This location was clean but there isn't a ton of seating. Needed something refreshing and immediately gravitated towards Sunright Tea Studio's Grapefruit Jasmine Tea. STS is heavy on the sweetness level IMO. My drink purchased was made without any adjustments and was overly overly sweet. I didn't get the refreshing aspects I was hoping for at first sip nor did letting all of the ice melt help. 3 stars because the staff is nice and really efficient. I've been a fan of Sunright and used to drive all the way to Cupertino to get it. They finally opened one much closer to me and although they've been open for a while now, it was my first time visiting this location. When I visited on a Sunday evening, there was no one there. Ordering is done through a kiosk like the other locations. The service was super fast and they were done in under 5 minutes. There's no chairs/tables so it's definitely a grab and go situation. The quality was the same as the Cupertino location and better than the Union City one. It was creamy and I ordered 50% sweet which still seemed on the sweeter side for me. This Sunright location is in the Crescent Square plaza and parking is a bit awkward and hit or miss here, as it is a pretty busy plaza, especially on weekends. There are multiple boba spots in this strip plaza as well and to be honest, I originally was at a different spot in this plaza, but my mom did not like any of the drink choices at that other spot, so we ended up here. Not much service - ordering is on the kiosks by the door and there was a line, but it went by rather quickly. I ordered their Cheese Foam Jasmine with honey boba & mochi for myself and their Fresh Taro Frostie with red bean for my mom. I feel like the mochi took over most of my drink though, which was a bummer and the cheese tasted a bit saltier than usual. This is one of my favorite Tea shops for drinks. The prices are comparable to other tea places and the drinks are good. I like fruit teas the most and have only tried those. The place is designed for convenience rather than hangout, so there are no tables or chairs. There is just a curvy bench in the middle for customers to sit when waiting. There are two kiosk machines with all options + pictures for quick and easy ordering without employee interaction. Drinks are also prepared very quickly. That being said, the downside is that it is not a hangout place and there is no restroom for customers. Teas and sugary drinks are natural diuretics so it isn't long before your body forces you to leave the store. There is also really loud music so it is not ideal for studying/chatting either. Because of this, I would end up opting for other places whenever I want to hang out with friends. This is a better place to just buy a drink and leave immediately. read more

I love coming to Sunright to get the Mochi Matcha Frostie!! It's soo good and not too sweet. The mochi is chewy and goes up the straw easily, and the boba is also the perfect consistency. Their other drinks are also good but not my go to boba spot for milk and fruit teas. There isn't much interaction with the baristas because it's a self ordering situation, but they are normally friendly and quick to remake anything that comes out incorrectly. Pretty busy location, so be prepared to wait a bit sometimes. But there's also the ability to order online. I also tried some of their white peach oolong milk tea - unfortunately although my partner was trying to get the white peach oolong cheese (creama), we were ordering with a group so it seems some of the orders were not quite made accurately - which was also really good, as it has a sweet fruity flavor but also the creaminess of milk tea. I did not have a high expectation of this drink, but I was intrigued by a yakult boba tea since I've never had one. The taste of the fruit was very, very mild, but the actual boba was delicious. My friend ordered the Oreo Brulee Boba Milk and it was good, but it is not that special compared to other boba shops with a similar oreo drink. The staff were quick to make the drinks and I do love the atmosphere of the shop. The bright yellow walls and lighting is a soothing vibe to sit and chat with friends. I actually first encountered Sunright on a trip in LA, and back then I was impressed with their flavor quality and service efficiency (plus nice presentation). It's nice to see a solid brand get some rep around here and that's its still the same old boba goodness all around. The premises does have some interior seating for hangout space but it's mostly quite an open space with brightly mellow colors. Quite optimized for pickups though, as they have counter numbers just to sort out their orders. You can order ahead online, order in person, or use an order kiosk on the side as you enter. Regardless of how you punch it in, we got ours within 5 minutes so these guys are blitzingly fast here too. I'm a sucker for matcha, so that was my go to flavor and their matcha strawberry is a lovely blend. Boba all at solid chewiness with plenty of flavor, so it's hard to go wrong with this place in my mind. read more
