In my opinion one of the best boba places in the Bay, especially if you love boba pearls! I always come back here. It can be a bit of a wait if they're really busy but that would be my only gripe! read more

The drink costs are on the higher end, and they do not accept cash at all. I know neither of these problems are unique to Sunright, but it still sucks. Otherwise, the drinks are always good and the workers are very speedy. read more

Really tasty ceylon milk tea. My preference is 50% sweet, no ice. The grapefruit jasmine tea is also good.

Drinks are consistently more watery and sugary at this location. Employees don't seem to care much. Been here several times and I don't think I'll come back again. For some reason, I was missing a drink during one of my visits and the employee didn't seem to want to help me out. She just told me I was missing it and that's all. Didn't offer to help me out or help me ring up an extra drink. I just left without ordering anymore drinks. Another customer wanted to pay cash but they told her she needed to pay with card. Also, they don't offer public restrooms. It's for employees only. read more

I'm not sure if she's a manager or just working here but her attitude to me was hella rude, well since it's first time I ordered drinks here, I was just asking the order of Oreo Brulee Milk is having milk only or milktea, if it's only milk, can I change it to milktea and I will pay any extra. Then the dude next to her asked me what kind of tea i want, I said jasmine milktea, then this girl told me I have to reorder as jasmine milk tea with topping oreo brulee which is the same price, so I told her to do that drink without needing an extra step of reorder and refund to me (she offer to do refund and told me to reorder the drinks), she refused it and turn away with rolling eyes. Therefore I asked the dude if he can do the refund as she said and I will reorder it, this dude has no clue how to do refund and asked her to do it for him, with the angry attitude she dashed to the tablet and hit it angrily with unhappy face...at that point my wife just stopped me and said it's ok nevermind. I was like WTF, she was the one told me to do it and it was my first time here and probably my last time too lol the drinks are not that great but I aint paying for the b*tchy face. I was asking very nicely and all I got was shitty attitude. I'm not sure she's annoyed by the extra task or she's tired of working on Friday night, if so just freaking quit. To the girl, I hope you have better attitude; to the owner, I hope you hire better employee. read more

Sunright Tea Studio - Milpitas - Bubble Tea Near Me - Milpitas, California

Favorite boba spot in Milpitas! The ambience of the location is very impress, big parking lot easy to find parking.

Drinks are okay but my parents enjoyed it. My parents decided to come to buy drinks on their own without me there and the staff was terrible towards them. They're in their mid 60s, only knows basic English, and definitely not tech savvy. They asked the staff to help show them how to order on the screen and no one was willing to go and help them order. The staff was free and just standing around behind the counter. They only need to be shown once to understand how to use the screen. These young adults are hired to work and clearly they only care about the bare minimum of their job criteria. This is a customer service based line of work! How hard is it to just help the elderly for a few minutes and especially when it's not even a bush day when they went. read more

I wish they would automatically put straws in the bags of mobile orders because two out of the three times that we've ordered, we didn't have straws to drink with. Luckily we're hoarders, so we had straws. Apparently some Uber Eats drivers are ignorantly forgetting the straws for a boba order. It's okay, not everyone knows about boba and I get it. I will give 5 stars if we can start having straws be put in the mobile orders as a normal procedure. read more

I have been here two times! The first time I got the regular house milk tea, which was good, but the wait and the kiosk took too long! The second time I got the Passionfruit drink with boba and I absolutely loved it, I usually go for more milk based drinks, but this was a pleasant surprise! I hope to go again and try their other flavors, overall this is a pretty solid boba place and I recommend their fruit flavors ! read more

this place just recently opened in milpitas, and the drinks are pretty good! there is a way where you can also order online so you don't have to wait l. very fast service and the inside is also nice :) ive tried the regular milk tea, but so far my favorite is the mango tea read more

Took 20 mins to get my 1 milk tea. There was only 4 customers including myself and 6 employees...

So their milk teas are AMAZING! But their fruit teas are mediocre. Do go to them but try the milk teas!! Their boba is also VERY good!

Nice and cool tea stop in Bay Area. This has been my favorite place recently. I tried signature fruit tea today. It is amazing!! It also has many choices with milk only. Pudding and grass jelly are great. Boba is nice too. Great place for milk tea :) read more

The tea is super strong but tasted good! They have two screens to order your drink and a seating area to wait for your drink. Wish they had outdoor seating. They were pretty fast. read more

Sunright Tea Studio finally opening a location closer to us, thank god. Tired of pulling up to Cupertino to pick up. They're consistent and good if you know what you want. The mango green milk tea w/ oat milk (75% sweetness) is a move. Occasionally their seasonal (peach/mango/strawberry) jasmine fruit teas or grape frosties are nice to have too. read more

Best boba in the bay. Always consistent and fresh. Boba is soft and chewy. Drink sugar level so good. Delicious cheese foam read more

So glad Sunright has come to Milpitas! The quality of tea is great and consistent. I love the matcha oolong and jasmine milk tea. There's a huge variety of drinks for everyone. I recommend getting honey boba. I also think 50% sweetness is better here than getting full sweet so fyi. read more

You order through a kiosk instead of through a cashier. Super delicious place that is quite busy. No issues coming through here. read more

Sub par boba. Bathrooms are only for employees what kind of drink place doesn't offer bathroom facilities. Don't go here. There's more options in the Bay Area. read more

Sunright tea makes very nice boba milk tea in Milpitas . I usually ordered matcha latte or green milk tea online because there are many people eating and shopping at that area and it is not easy to find a closeby parking space. Anyway Sunright tea is one of the best tea in Milpitas area read more

Beautiful interior. The reason for the low rating is because I ordered a hot boba milk tea drink and it was lukewarm. And when I asked for a spoon so I can eat the boba they gave me a weird look. read more

Love the teas that I've tried so far, peach oolong and fruit tea, only wish... is that they had a restroom for their guest.

i'm so happy they opened a new location in milpitas! i love sunright so much, i used to drive 30+ mins twice/three times a week to the sunnyvale location. the interior is very cute and a lot more spacious drinks are made a lot faster here, my first time ordering ahead online and it was completed in 3 mins. my go to drinks: mango green tea w/ honey boba, peach jasmin, yakult green tea :) read more

LOVE sunright. Huge fan! My boyfriend and I have over $500 in rewards and thats about $5000+ that we spent on sunright ever since we discovered the sunnyvale location. Now the reason for the 3 stars at this location is the consistency. I get the same drinks over and over again and by now, i know exactly how it should look like as well as the taste of it. And at this location, at least 2x a week i get something different even though it's the same drink. I have a strict nutrition plan and sunright is one of the only thing that I look forward to every day and on days where the consistency isn't there, it definitely frustrates me. So love sunright, iffy bout this location. read more

Certain drinks hit or miss. Peach oolong cheese foam had a nice balance of sweet fruity flavor with milk. Would get it 75% sweet. The mango frostie had interesting texture balance with the jasmine tea jelly but the mango tasted very artificial, miss for me. Grapefruit frostie had a more fresh fruit flavor. Mango Green tea was not memorable to me. Will try different flavors in the future. Overall nice shop ambiance and easy ordering system. read more

Ordered a jug to go. Cap wasnt properly attached to the jug and entire jug leaked in my car.

Tasty drinks and fast service - very good for a fruity drinks or milk-tea drinks easy to order online

My favorite mango drink. I especially like the jasmine jelly and little sweet mango chunks at the bottom.

Love this place! They have so many options even if you don't like regular milk tea. Would recommend this place to all my boba loving friends! read more

Second time here already! Easy to use kiosk to order your drinks. Big spacious area for customers. Drinks are made quickly. Really great experience so far! Boba is a bit chewy if you don't drink it right away, but other than that, I like the tea flavor of all my drinks so far. read more

I really wanted to love Sunright considering how many people I've heard rave about it! I gave it a second chance at this new Milpitas location after having tried it in LA a while ago and still felt like it was subpar. We got two drinks: 1) Matcha Brûlée Oat Latte with honey boba, 75% sweet - this tasted decent... I typically don't like my drinks too sweet but I felt like this could have been sweeter. The boba had a nice consistency but wasn't sweet at all which was surprising because they have normal boba too and I opted for honey boba which cost more so I was expecting for it to at least have some honey flavor. 2) Mochi Matcha Frostie without red bean, 75% sweet. The frostie part was a huuuuge disappointment. At first sip, it had the consistency of a rainbow shaved ice cone from the ice cream truck since it had giant chunks of ice that had to be chewed. I asked the cashier if this is normal since it was my first frostie there and she said no, so she remade it. The remake turned out way thicker and couldn't come up the straw. I also noticed when she remade it, it was too thick so she had to add a tiny bit more liquid and pulse the blender for a few seconds. When she transferred the drink into a cup, it had to be scooped with a spoon and as she was scooping, she tossed big ice chunks into the sink after every couple scoops. The remake came out even chunkier. Although the frostie part was bad, I really loved the mochi. Also this drink was significantly sweeter than the Matcha Brûlée Oat Latte despite being the same sweetness level, I'm not sure if it's because the mochi itself is really sweet so it could have remade the whole drink sweeter overall. This would be be go to drink if the frostie was smooth! I hope they improve on their frosties and learn to use their nice industrial blenders. I'll probably give it a third try again in the future because I liked the mochi so much. read more

Solid 3.5 star. Stumbled upon this by accident - seems like they just opened. The brown sugar boba was a bit hard and tea was good. Skip the grape slushie. read more

I've stopped by Sunright Tea Studio multiple times since they've opened and I have to say they're one of the best tea shops in the area. The crème brûlée and taro are made fresh and both are really delicious. The tea is made with real tea leaves as well and you can really taste the flavor. The service as super quick and workers are very accommodating and willing to remake your drink if there are any issues. Really great spot, can't wait to come back. read more

This is one of my favorite boba places and I am glad they opened this location because it's on my way back home. Parking situation is kinda tight but it's enough. The drinks here are good and the boba is always the perfect texture every time. My favorite drinks are probably the four seasons milk tea and the mango frostie. The staff were very quick on making the drinks which was good. And so far everything has been pretty good for a soft opening. read more
