Came by to get drinks after eating at Red Flame (not bad but prefer boiling point). Decided to try a new drink at Sunright and wasn't what I expected however, the cashier (red hair in a ponytail/right arm butterfly tattoo) was so nice and quickly offered the exchange it. First time to any sun right tea studio and it was hopping with kids! It's only been open a week but it seems that word has spread to the boba crowd to come check it the newest addition to the boba milk tea shops in Artesia. Drinks were pretty good but weren't mixed at all. They were layers and flavors stuck on the side of the cup and my drink lid was not sealed or made for shaking as it was the snap on kind with two holes on top. I noticed a neon sign on the wall "shake 17 times". Is that the instructions for the customer to make your drink taste right or just a saying? Hmm. Seems to me like actual drink instructions even though their army of employees behind the counter didn't say as much. After much agitation, finally got the drinks to taste the way they supposed to (4 seasons cheese foam, fruit tea and yummy strawberry shake) minus the taro milk tea boba which was lacking in taro flavor altogether. Delicious bubble tea, and I am so glad to have found this place as my new favorite! So let's start with I've been looking for a sorta healthy boba place ever since boba guys moved out of NYC (and stopped serving grass jelly). This place can let you adjust your sugar and ice level easily, has califia almond milk available, and has actual fresh taro, fresh boba, and grass jelly available!!! Not to mention good service, and a great price, like prepandemic boba guys prices! So seriously, what is there not to love!?!? My first time visiting the store in person was last Sunday afternoon, before then, others have been picking up drinks for me. It was decently busy, but my friends and I were able to get our drinks without waiting very long. The staff looked busy and hard at work at handling a ton of orders, but also friendly (one staff member kindly answered a question my friend had about the toppings while ordering at the kiosk). There was a super sweet lady who was handling giving people their orders at the counter. :) Was really happy with the entire experience, from ordering on the kiosk to getting our drinks. I love the jasmine cheese drink, which is a great balance between creaminess and the refreshing jasmine tea. Highly recommend if you are a fun of cheese tea. The oolong cheese is also great. I also accidentally ordered the brown sugar boba milk before, and it's also really good; it's a delicious combo of syrupy brown sugar boba and refreshing milk. I also like ordering with actual milk instead of non dairy creamer when given the option, so I like that Sunright has that option! Other favorites are the jasmine milk tea and oolong milk tea. I've tried the peach oolong milk tea once, the day it was released, but the peach flavor was really overpowering to me, much past the oolong flavor. I feel that this location isn't as good as the other locations, which is why it's a star off. However, it's still a pretty good choice if you want a drink with salted cream. I got their new grape tea and the flavor was great. I don't like artificial grape flavor and was glad they used real grapes in this. I've tried a few Sunright Tea Studio and they were pretty solid, but this location didn't hit the spot for me. I ordered a brown sugar milk tea, hokkaido milk tea, panda milk tea, and thai tea. I got regular sweetness and ice for all of them, but it was watered down. My brown sugar milk tea tasted like just milk and boba. The boba texture was a bit too chewy. I've been quite a few times now and I'm glad I waited to post my review. The first time I went I tried their strawberry matcha w/boba and I really wasn't impressed. It lacked both matcha and strawberry flavor -- very bland. I prefer the strawberry matcha from Loose Leaf. However, the Oreo brûlée and the matcha oat milk latte were both soooooo delicious. Highly recommend. I do enjoy that they have milk alternatives and a digital kiosk to order from so that their baristas can focus on making the drinks. They get ridiculously busy sometimes so the kiosk is nice. I definitely would recommend online ordering if you're visiting on a weekend. The store itself is small so not ideal to wait inside when it's super busy because it's gets packed. All of the staff is super friendly and are always eager to answer any questions that you might have. This has definitely become my new go to boba spot. read more

Tried this place for the 1st time with white peach oolong cheese foam. First impression, I got confused with ordering since they offer self- ordering through an iPad and order-in-person. I thought they only had self-order only until I got cut off by a group to order-in- person. They should have had better signs. No biggie. Second, when ordering, my 1 year old pushed the barrier on accident. The girl took my order raised her voice at my baby telling her not touching. I'm sorry on behalf of my 1 year old for doing that but I wish you shouldn't raise your voice at my baby as if she could understand you, or you could handle the situation with better customer service. Lastly, the reason I give this place 3 stars that I FOUND A PIECE OF PLASTIC after finishing my drink. Luckily I didn't share the drink with my kid like I normally do. That piece of plastic could have go through the boba straw and they can choke on it. This is extremely dangerous. I hope the owner can read my review and let the staffs be aware of. The drinks were decent. I thought the cold foam was yummy but the customer service wasn't so great. Every other worker was nice to me except this one lady with short hair and glasses with bleach ends. I grabbed my drink knowing it was mine since no one else was at the store and in a rude way she told me not to grab the drinks unless they call out my name, even though they were all already done. I also overheard her being rude to a few customers after us. I thought everything else about my experience went well except for my interaction with this one worker. Plenty of different drinks.. service is fast. All drinks are good. My favorite to get is the mango frostie with honey boba.

Sunright is top tier boba for me. They are generally consistent across their stores. I generally get Ceylon milk tea with 25% less sugar. Another favorite is Sunright Fruit Tea or coffee oolong milk tea. Of course it depends on your palette. For instance, I wasn't a fan of the green tea yakult with adjustments. Adjustable sweetness and ice is always a plus at a boba shop, because we all want to customize the drinks to our liking. Even though I get less sugar, my Ceylon milk tea generally does not taste watered down, which may be common at some boba shops due to early prep of the drinks and difficulty adjusting formulas. Also, I feel like their caffeine is fairly strong, so consider how sensitive you are to caffeine. The service is easy. You can order from a machine and just wait for your name to be called. The shop is a nice place to wait for the drink and sit for a bit, but it can get loud with the blender constantly going off, so it's not a place to study nor hang for a long time. read more

I love this place, the sunright tea (I believe that's what it's called) is by far my favorite drink here. Super refreshing + not too sweet! They always make my drink to perfection, however. I'm giving 4 stars just because it is CARD ONLY, so if you pay with cash often be prepared to bring a credit card with you. I have been to this establishment a handful of times and have a lot to say, the only employee who makes my drinks correctly is a nice young woman named emma. Other than that the other times I have been were horrible. Save your six dollars for starbucks or share tea down the street. As I only order one item from this spot which is the oreo cream brûlée, which tasted like straight milk and sink water. I was not surprised by how fast my drink got out and that is not a good thing. The worker with dyed hair somehow managed to make my drink with enough water and milk to hydrate me all the way to the bathroom. All I have to say is save your money and play it safe with sharetea or tastea down the street. 1st time here at the Artesia location. Ordering: No physical menu board. There's only 1 ordering kiosk and you have to scroll through at least 3 screens to see all the options (a bit clunky). If there's a lot of people, be prepared to wait. It'd be ideal if there were both a physical menu board and the kiosk. Service: For my kiosk order I asked that my receipt be printed. When my order was called, the barista neglected to give it to me while giving me the drinks. (I only realized after leaving the restaurant that I wasn't given my receipt.) She also wasn't that friendly. The service is very impersonal since your only interaction with the employees is when picking up your drinks. Drink order: I had a grape jasmine tea with lychee jelly. This was recommended to me. It was pretty good, but it almost tastes similar to grape juice with a slight tea taste. Restrooms: just 1 and it's clean. Ambiance: Airy and lots of windows. Seating is good for hanging out with friends, and I didn't feel rushed to leave right away. read more

Their boba is really tasty! I got their Honey Blossom milk tea and it went really well with their honey boba I did adjust the sugar level to 50% | regular ice level. I used to change the ice level since I wanted to get more of the milk tea But slowly I realized that I would always have some milk tea left over since the got warm too fast. I recommend sticking with regular level of ice here! They will make the drinks perfectly Also I want to shout out to the employees! You guys are killing it! I see y'all make the drink hella fast with great precisions:) They do have sitting areas for people to chat and relax! I was not only sexually harassed by my assistant manager, but when I called off time for my education I was fired. THEY PAID TO TAKE THIS REVIEW DOWN. Sunright is disgusting and they have mold everywhere and this is coming from an honest worker who was with the establishment on atresia from the beginning. I posted photos on yelp that were of the disgusting things going on behind the scene and it was taken down by yelp. Please do not go to sunright they have poor health conditions and management instead of fixing it covers it up. Dont take the truth down. I really don't understand why this Sunright is rated 3.5 starts, it just doesn't make sense to me. Everything about it is perfect, and this is why. The boba is the perfect texture for me, a mixture of hard, soft, and chewy. All the drinks are distinct and are full of variety, there is no bad drink in their menu in my opinion. You really have to applaud sunright's drive and dedication to serving us customers delicious and interesting drinks that we won't get tired. I have been here multiple times and they have awesome drinks. I always order a drink for myself and then one large drink for my kids which is split into smaller cups so they don't get a sugar rush. I was always very grateful (as I'm sure other parents are too) for this accommodation. Today there was no one in the store , but they had many online orders so the person at the register refused to split the drink for my kids. I understand they're a new location so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. With that being said, my sunright milk tea essentially tastes like water. I have been to this sunlight location a couple of times, and tried their sunlight boba milk tea, brown sugar boba milk tea, and the Oreo brûlée. I like how they let us customize the sweetness level, so I usually change it to 50% sweetness. For the Oreo brûlée, I think 25% sweetness would be a better choice for those who don't like overly sweet drinks. You can order directly at the cash register or there's a large touch screen. They have around 4 tables to sit inside, but most people just buy it to go. I usually went during off-peak hours so I was able to get parking. The parking lot is generally small so I'd imagine it would be difficult during peak hours. In my opinion I think this place is similar to omomo in Irvine. Boba here is also a bit pricier, but they use 100% milk. read more

And we got our drinks in minutes. We like the various options and choices available. We all enjoyed our drinks with boba. By the way,. I have been avoiding Sunright since it opened due to the bad reviews... however, I went recently and I am so glad I did! I got their mango milk tea which is 10/10, so delicious!! My review is purely for this drink lol. It is not too sweet and has the perfect amount of mango, it doesn't taste artificial, and isn't overly creamy. They have the best mango milk tea that I have ever tried. Their honey boba is also very good but my favorite is their jasmine tea jelly!!! The jelly isn't sweet in my opinion but when you add it to your drink, it gives it a stronger tea taste. I have never tried something like that before. Overall, I am a big fan and am glad they opened one in Artesia. read more
