Pool town employees are not knowledgeable about the products they sell. All major questions are directed to Rick, who is also the installer. After one year our liner has a leak. They claim there is a warranty on liners but only cover manufacturer defect. Avoid installation from Rick and buy your pool from somewhere else. Now we have to go to an outside contractor because Rick is rude and pool town is refusing to help us.

Came back a week later to put the deposit down and the price "went up" to $6,000 and they wouldn't honor the quote. We told Ricky (our sales person and manager) that we had a 220 hook up outside and could only get a hot tub with that hookup. He told us that the one we bought had a 220 cord and we could simply plug it in and be good with it. Once the hot tub was delivered we noticed there wasn't a plug. We called the store and they told us "yeaaaah that doesn't have a plug. You have to hardwire it into the actual box." So not only did they not honor the original price, but they mislead my wife and I about how to hook up the hot tub and we are forced now to find an electrician to come out and spend over $1,000 to hook up the hot tub. Spoke with Ricky and he has the worst attitude. He doesn't give a crap about customer service. He simply cares about taking your money and not taking care of his customers. Read the reviews on here... he can't run a business. He said "I should have known better" about hooking up a hot tub and was very condensending. When I reminded him what he told my wife and I he simply said "well I guess there was a miscommunication but there will be no compensation." No compensation even after misleading a guest. Grant came out (during a snow storm!) for the initial estimate. He tested our water and explained everything clearly. I previously had our water tested by an independent lab and, even though Grant did not know about these lab results, everything he said lined up with the lab results I had. I appreciate the honesty in something that seems like it can sometimes be a shady business. Mike came out for the install. I liked that he came with the right tools for the job and clearly knew what he was doing. He made sure everything was done exactly right and explained the water softener in detail. We have been using them for salt deliveries, which have been on time and reliable. Water Boy feels like a very wholesome and positive family company, which I very much prefer over some faceless corporation with cheesy sales people.

They provided me with a detailed list of exactly the parts necessary to repair my unit. When the parts came in, I rescheduled an appointment, and the same guys arrived to fix the tub. At that point, they informed me that there was now a problem with a leaking pump motor. Again, they provided me with a detailed invoice. I am currently waiting on the parts to arrive. Thankfully, I was given the opportunity to speak with the owner. A first class gentleman. Turns out that one of the repair men is the owner's son. Obviouly, the companies run by an excellent business man and also father; as his son was a top-notch repairmen. There's a company closer to me (4 miles) that I didn't hire, because they told me a few things that weren't true (a fucking liar) I am much better off with the Hot Tub Outlet. Needless to say, I give them, my business, and recommendation. Do not waste time calling another hot tub company, even though they maybe closer.

See my previous review…read more Finally, after two seasons of my lights not working and watching them rust out since the install of the liner in 2018, I get someone out here to take a look and get them running again. The wire that attaches to the lighting unit was pinched and cut when the fixture was reinstalled by by this so called "specialists", causing the wires to rust and burn. You could smell the burning when the fixture was pulled out. Luckily the GFI worked so we were not electrocuted when going into the pool!! So now the whole thing needs to be rewired because of the exposed wiring that was cut. Another $1800 later, correcting what these "specialists" did wrong!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY THEY DO NOT STAND BEHIND ANYTHING AND WILL TRY TO BLAME YOU OR WHATEVER THEY CAN COME UP WITH TO NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY!!!

BEWARE..BEWARE...BEWARE This so called pool specialist…read moreinstalled a brand new vinyl pool liner for us 2011 and left the job partially incomplete I called many many times trying to get ahold of him but he never returns my calls sometimes a women answers takes Mt messages but still no reply. Now it 2015 and upon opening my pool for the season we discovered that it ripped in multiple locations so I called 3 other pool companies to get an estimate and a reason why this happened and all said the same thing who ever installed it installed a liner that was too small and eventually pulled away from the edges and ripped. Guess what I tried calling Bob again and he still refuses to return my call well let's see if he returns my lawyers call. If I could give him a lower rating I would!!!!!! I hope this review saves someone the headache that I'm going through and hopefully puts that crook out of business!!!!
