After opening the pool the this year I have tons of folds in my liner floor. I called multiple times and was told I would receive I call back for three weeks, I never received that call. Finally I was told he would come see the problem, he showed 5 days later without a call..of course I was not home. He put his card in my door and still never contacted me. Once they have your $$$ they are done with you, warranty work does not pay. They are very unprofessional! I would NEVER recommend to family or friends. BEWARE, if they don't get it right the first time, don't ever expect it to be right ever again. I was happy with the install when it was complete. BUT I close the pool the same as it was closed for 30 years now. I know nothing about pools, liners, or water tables(the girl who answered the phone told me the water table must have rose and caused the folds, she diagnosed my problem from a chair 30 miles away, never happened for 30 years but this year with the new liner it happened) But if you avoid me for three weeks, then finally show up and then continue to avoid me, I can only assume you know it's your fault!

Grant came out (during a snow storm!) for the initial estimate. He tested our water and explained everything clearly. I previously had our water tested by an independent lab and, even though Grant did not know about these lab results, everything he said lined up with the lab results I had. I appreciate the honesty in something that seems like it can sometimes be a shady business. Mike came out for the install. I liked that he came with the right tools for the job and clearly knew what he was doing. He made sure everything was done exactly right and explained the water softener in detail. We have been using them for salt deliveries, which have been on time and reliable. Water Boy feels like a very wholesome and positive family company, which I very much prefer over some faceless corporation with cheesy sales people.

Biggest problem: A woman who married an owner--can't remember her name--so is now an owner,…read moreherself: called me late in week, saying they would be there Monday. We got everything ready, and waited. Late Monday WE called her! (they didn't show up) She actually said, 'this isn't rocket science, we'll get there sometime'! We asked, "Who exactly are you?". Silence for a couple seconds, then: "I'm one of the owners." "Unbelievable." (was our response to her.) Big problem: They promised stuff to get the sale, and then tell the installer said stuff wasn't included in price. Calling up their office to clear it up, it seemed "Owner Lady" was unhappy that said "stuff" was promised, and then Rich, the salesman, changed his attitude immediately. In fact, he had promised a better exhaust fan, but installer was putting in a weaker fan--so we called Rich up. He told us to buy the better, stronger Promised fan, and he would drop by and repay us. Almost a year later, and several phone calls and promises...we got the picture, Rich! Problem: Installer Dennis--not very good. Sadly, we went with Toledo New Bath--even though they charged us $4000 more than our other bid!! Because we Wanted it done right! The caulk job was horrendous. We examined it and found leakage! Dennis also didn't caulk any of the metal fasteners for the seat and handles--so leaks are occurring there. We have absolutely no Faith in them!! Today WE ARE PAYING SOMEONE ELSE OVER $1000 to recaulk Everything!

New Bath recently extended into the window business and since there are no reviews, I thought I…read morewould document my experience. My review and rating will be updated following the install. I saw New Window Elite's TV commercial and since I was in the market to replace builder grade windows, I gave them a call. New Window Elite was my 3rd quote for 7 standard sized double-hung windows. The window is nice but of my 3 sales pitches, I felt theirs fell in the middle in terms of quality. The salesperson was knowledgeable and answered my questions. Initially, he gave me a quote of $1,100 per window but when I told him I would think about it, he reduced the total cost by $1,000, making it $957.14 per window. As with the quality, the adjusted price fell within the middle of my 3 quotes so I accepted. A contract was signed and I took a picture of all provided documents. Upon further review of the contract, no price was included, meaning we technically don't have a contract. Additionally, articles 1-3 of the contract (out of 7) were not provided. My other 2 quotes were upfront pricing. I wish New Window did the same rather than negotiate. I was told that someone would be out to take exact measurements but as of a week after the contract was signed, nobody has contacted me. My credit card was charged for the agreed upon 50% down. Now, on to my rating. Two stars were removed because I subsequently went to their website and saw that it states that the New Window Elite Price for a double-hung window is $300-$450. The sales pitch stated that installation is included in the price so I have to assume it is on their website as well. If this is the case, their advertising is simply not true. With the exception of 4 mullions (support between the windows), the window sizes are standard and the install will be on a ranch-style home. Nothing unusual. The other 2 companies both quoted me at $50 per mullion so I know they aren't outrageously priced. This review is neither positive nor negative but just a means of sharing my experience to others who are considering using New Window Elite. As previously mentioned, my review of the windows and process will be posted once the windows are installed.

I believe this company is capable of doing a satisfactory job & the owner is particularly motivated…read moreto do so prior to being paid. The overall quote was reasonable & I had no problems until the point that I was dissatisfied with the transition piece between kitchen & dining area. Most recently, the transition was glued down, but literally did not stick. I can pick it up. It also is not quite long enough & there is a gap between the wall and wood. He does an excellent job of hanging pictures, which I greatly appreciated as a side courtesy. but his level of responsiveness dropped from a 10 to a 0 at this point. Nothing is urgent on my end, but a simple acknowledgement of my text of concerns & pics of the issue would be appreciated. I feel disrespected to be completely ignored after investing a good sum of money in my wood floors with a guarantee of satisfaction. I am not seeking to bash this company; to the contrary, I simply would appreciate acknowledging the problem with a plan to follow up.

Last year, almost a year from today, our pool pump motor took a dump. I went in and they attached my impeller to a new motor and installed a new motor shaft seal and all on the same day. Today my wife called while I was at work and said our pump wasn't working. After a little investigating it seemed the pump motor was out again. Looked at it and it seemed there had been a leak under the bottom of the motor. Took it in to Mark and he deemed the motor shaft seal had failed. Took my motor, told me he get me a new motor, attached an upgraded shaft seal and attached the impeller. They called as promised, same day service, and it was warrantied. If you need pool items or any supplies I highly suggest you go see Mark and the team at The Poolside Shop for honest and reliable service.
