They took so long to get back to me and when I called they let me know that my insurance denied my claim. I had to do all the work, and then they told me I had to pay out of pocket for the orthotics. Very expensive! So I canceled the order and I'm going to another clinic that actually cares about me and is willing to explain and be proactive about a call back. If I wouldn't have called, they would have not called me back and I would have waisted my time going into a follow up appointment just to let me know that I had been denied. I'm obviously still frustrated with the whole matter. I'm glad to not go there ever again.

Even though we determined that he could not provide the device that I am seeking, he educated me about my current AFO; the alternatives for what I'm seeking and removed my frustration that I had. Unfortunately, he is not accessible to me through my HMO, but based on our interaction regarding what I'm seeking, I would recommend Kolman. This exposed me to a completely new and very positive experience. By my second appointment, Nathan had manufactured a test socket for me to try. When I left his office a couple hours later I was stunned I could walk to my car and have continued walking easily with this incredible socket! Prior to my Limb Craft appointment, the standard timelines I'd experienced over 2 decades for a new prosthetic socket averaged 2 weekly appointments of 4-6 hours for 2-6 months or longer. Consequently, many of my fellow amputees and I were affected by the exhausting long timelines; therefore, we'd delay the process and continue to struggle using ill-fitting and painful prosthetic devices which quashed our mobility and reduced independence. Nathan Lee of Limb Craft, Inc made a terrific life changing socket and prosthetic device!
