Got short-changed on my first visit. Sunny has no manners,jerked me around more than I recall even when I was a toddler getting haircuts. She cut my sideburns to my existing beard which, not end of the world, looks overwhelmingly wrong. It was chop chop and away you go,no mirror at the end. Will not be back. Let this nice Asian lady cut your hair. She actually pays attention to what you want and follows through. It's amazing! I've been to too many barbers, who either don't listen to what I want, (nodding their head like they understand) and then cutting it the way they want it cut (or the way they cut everybody's hair because they only know a few cuts). I'm not real fond of my forehead, so I request a regular haircut all the way around the sides and back of my head, but request that the hair that hangs over my forehead touch my eyebrows when the hair is dry. Nobody does it. They finish and my bangs are 2 inches ABOVE my brows! This woman is the only one I'll let cut my hair from now on. read more

New owner (Annie) and she is amazing! Very caring and takes her time to make sure you go out the door looking amazing. She conversated with me all throughout the haircut making me very comfortable. Listens and does exactly what you want and also makes great suggestions with great explanations to make what you want even better looking. Asked for a skin tight fade with hair long on top, ok to be messy I'm not picky, she just cut ALL of it off completely and did NOT fade it at all! Instead of giving her 14 year old customer what she wanted, Sunny took the clippers straight down the middle of her head. All of her hair was gone. Sunny became defensive and immediately started trying to put the blame on a 14 year old girl. This brave teenager will now start her freshman year in high school either wearing wigs or forcing herself to be brave enough to go with her new buzz cut. This place has cause so much emotional distress and at least $150 in products to restore the confidence in a teenage girl. read more

This is absolutely the worst place to get your haircut. I had her trim my hair and she took a big chunks out of my hair it wasn't what I wanted. She was supposed to give my son a high fade and instead it ended up having to be shaved because she messed up on it. read more

Sunny is very nice, talkative and friendly but she does not know how to cut hair. I took my boys here to get their cut. She was very fast and didnt spend time with their hair. Their hair were very choppy and uneven, she did not take the time to blend the hair in together. When asked to blend it in, she did not know what we were saying and said it's because of my sons head. Smh. My husband had to fix their hair when we got home.!! And she ONLY TAKES CASH and make sure u give her the correct amount, because she will take it as a "big" tip and not try to give u back change. read more

Writing this review on behalf of my boyfriend. We recently went back to Sunny to get his usual haircut. Shes so friendly and always does a good job- definitely the best in the area. My boyfriend always comes out looking so handsome! And the best part is that shes fast and efficient, which is great because I dont have to wait too long for him to finish. Sunny knows how to do hair. She is the sweetest woman ever and will give you whatever haircut you want. I went in on my way to work because I needed a haircut and eyebrow wax. She gave me the cleanest and freshest trim. It's unfortunate that she doesn't have more reviews. I honestly think it's because of the bad intersection that her shop is located at, that many people don't even notice it's there. If I could give negative stars I would. Sunny not only totally messed up my nieces hair but she was completely rude, ignorant, and quite frankly racist towards my niece. As a licensed hairstylist for 26 years, I can say that no one in their right mind and a pair of clippers would start a haircut by shaving someone's head right down the middle even if they were getting a complete buzzcut, which my niece was not getting. She pointed to a picture in SUNNYS wall and asked her for that one. It was not a buzzcut. A drunk with a pair of clippers would have known the difference and done a better job. Sunny even said herself that she warned my 14 year old niece it was going to be short, which means she should have clarified with her stepmom. Get a clue lady she was a minor. Then when confronted with her own mistake she had the audacity to scream at my nieces stepmom and blame my niece who was already humiliated that she was now bald and is starting her freshman year having to wear a wig and worried she will be made fun of. Then this psycho threw my niece and her stepmom out of her "shop". Not only should she turn in her license until retrained in how to actually do hair, but also she should take a business and anger management class before going near anyone's head again. Stay far away if you intend to have hair left or any sort of style. DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO END UP BALD!!!! My daughters stepmom took her here yesterday August 28th to get her hair cleaned up before school starts. My daughter has her hair really short on the sides and the back and longer up top. My daughter wanted her sides cleaned up and a LITTLE taken off the top. Even showed Sunny a picture of what she wanted. Sunny proceeded to take a shaver and SHAVE right down the middle of my daughters head. So now my 14yr old daughter is BALD going into her 1st year of high school. This woman has done NOTHING to rectify this and didn't even apologies to my daughter. She argued with my daughters step mom that it was because my daughter is mixed and was BEYOND rude and combative while my daughter stood there in tears! To say Im irate is putting it lightly. NOw my daughter is starting off high school wearing a wig to feel comfortable in her own skin again. I have called and asked to speak to the person in charge and was told "I'm not interested" and hung up on. I called back and got voice mail right away. I left a message and they called back and hung up as soon as I answered. this place should NOT be allowed to touch anyone hair!!! PLEASE DO NOT EVER GO HERE!!!
