I honestly came here because my barber and friend, Pete, moved here to work with Quise. Upon entering the shop it was still in the process of being set up but it was obvious that all the decals and the color scheme of the shop will turn out to be aesthetically pleasing. As for services they offer a variety which includes, kids cut, razor shaves, charcoal masks, hot towels, and a lot more. You just have to ask. It's a small shop but I can honestly say that it's the most comfortable I've ever been. No pretentious environment and obnoxious noises. There's a cool feature online where you have the ability to book your appointment without having to call in. Ask for Peter for the fade. So I came out from Los Angeles and needed a quick chop and Peter hooked it up. He probably gave me the best fade I've ever had, ever. I think I've tried every legit barbershop in Los Angeles and nothing beats Peter at Quise 101. I told him he needs to move and start up a shop in LA. Guess Tacoma is going to be hooked up. My hair is pretty coarse and thick so it always takes me a couple good barbers before I find someone I really like. Peter at Quise 101 is your man. The shop is really really clean. Cleanliness is obviously #1 priority aside from giving the best cuts around. I know there are not many reviews on this yelp page so don't pass this shop up because there's a lack of. Like many people looking for a last minute barber before an event day(s) beforehand, I went to Yelp to look for one. Out of all the barbers in Tacoma, Quise 101 provided the best clean cuts via Pictures uploaded. Pictures are one thing but could they replicate that with my thick, coarse Asian hair? The price tag alongside seemed hefty compared to the other shops as well. The shop is located in a nice quiet part of town. The shop is very well kept and clean. The atmosphere was very relaxing and chill. Quise was not present but his coworker, Peter was. He gave me one of the nicest low skin fades I've had in a long time. He was a very nice guy and had light hearted conversations with. He did an excellent job with the line up as well, using a razor. Went here for the first time on short notice. The layout of their website makes it insanely easy to book an appointment. Really good availability to fit your busy schedule. Peter hooked it up with a fresh fade, was extremely satisfied with the end result. Treated me with respect, had good conversation, and was very comfortable. I've been to plenty of other barbers in the area and this is by far THE spot to go. Awesome new Barbershop in downtown Tacoma! Discovered this new gem after my longtime barber Peter changed locations. Relatively new place that needs some more attention. Came across this place scrolling through Yelp and realized it was super close to my house, so I decided to book an appointment. When I got there Marquise was bumpin some Gold School hip hop and immediately sat me in the chair. He was really chill and easy to talk to. And as expected, was able to fade me up really good. Took my nephew in to see Marquis. He was terrified and didn't want a haircut because he was cut a few times by a previous barber somewhere else. I was able to schedule an appointment thru their online app and get in last minute. Marquis was very gentle with him and did a fantastic job! He loved it! Got a haircut from Peter, dude does an amazing job. Does a very detailed straight razor line up at the end of each cut. Also gives great recommendations if your looking for new hairstyles. Place isn't very large, but both guys there are very personable and great with any cut. They have an awesome scheduling system online so you know when both guys are available. Been getting haircuts from Peter for awhile now and he kills it every time! Definitely should go check them out! read more
