A little pricey but they do a great job and don't do more than you need. They get you in and out quick.

They install rebuilt substandard torque converters that only last 300 miles (at least in my case) leaving you stranded needing a tow.

I asked who they would recommend, and they recommended Pete's. They were able to complete my smog check in a timely manner. Very courteous and professional. The second time I was leaving the gas station and the air went completely out of my tire. As I was in a panic, the air ran out just as I hit Pete's. They got me in fairly quickly and were able to determine was punctured the tire- they patched it up and sent me on my way. Next time I need any repairs, I am coming to Pete's!

He didn't really answer and said "we just always suggest it". Shouldn't a mechanic check and swap what needs to be swapped rather than just suggesting a change? I would assume so. Anyways, we got rotors and brakes changed cause my wife uses this car every once in a blue moon and I care for my family. I also asked if they do alignment. He told me that they have a state of the art alignment machine they JUST got in. Expensive, but state of the art. Okay, whatever let's do it! A few weeks later when we finally use the car, we see the e-brake light stay on after releasing the e-brake. I called it in and they said to bring the car in. The older man who works there gave my wife a complete attitude when she took the car in. Even though I feel the e-braking was probably linked to the changing of the brakes, they still charged me for it. Ok. Whatever. What really upset me is that I drove the car a few days after that (again, we rarely drive this car, it's a backup car for us) and the alignment is pulling slightly to the right. We took a mini road trip and the entire time I'm literally pulling the car to the left. What?! What happened to State of the Art alignment?? I would take it back and argue to be fixed but after what my wife told me, I don't want to go back and deal with an angry old man when they should have tested everything prior to giving it to us. They would probably charge me again for the alignment to fix it... I'll say one thing that they are good at. They do clean work. The younger gentleman is extremely kind. We don't live far away and I was hoping this was going to be my go-to mechanic, but at this point, I don't know...

I brought my 1994 TT Toyota Supra to Elite Transmission (nothing elite about this place) I told…read morethe owner my issue which was when I go from park to drive there's a kick. He said he'd fix it. Paid $2500. He took 6 FRIKIN MONTHS to finish it. I was very excited when it was finally ready. I had my nephew who loves Supras to go pick it up. He called me and said I tried to make a turn in a residential street, and it won't go into reverse. We had my Supra towed. Back to "elite transmission" where he said its not my fault easy fix. So 2 months later, he fixes the reverse issue. It's 4th of July. I have my top down I get to my house to enjoy the 4th of July fireworks from our backyard and guess what my car on a slope won't go into reverse. All my neighbors ors jump it to help push and position my car to be parked. So I realized the reverse is not lined up well any more. So i went with the flow, because it was summer and I wanted to enjoy my car. I realized on the freeway my car red lining. I haven't even mentioned that the gears were kicking all over. It was a mess. As I saw the red line I couldn't pull over fast enough. Come to realize I'm in D2. This guy ruined my car. I gave it back to him after we argued, and he said he'd look at it. After 2 months of it just collecting dust. I was done with this unprofessional who didn't want to take any liability for his poor work. Do yourself a favor and stay away. I gave him numerous chances to try to fix it. He made my issues worse. Fixing my engine that blew was $7000 in itself. I came with one issue left with more. Worse of all I've had this classic for over 20 years and no one has been negligent with it. I'm here fixing my tire next door. Last thing he told me is I'll call you around new years and never did. 2 months out he passes by and he knows the mess he's created. I would never run any of my businesses this way.

I'm a single mother, and I went there for a transmission problem, he assured me that he would do a wonderful job at a fair price. 10 days layer he called and stated that the vehicle was ready. When I walked in he handed me an invoice at double the price he quoted me, and when I argued he said he would not release the vehicle and he would put a lien on it... I was in tears and had no choice as that is all I have. The next day, the vehicle would not shift into gear.... Long story short, I went back a total of 5 times, and had to pay for a rental car out of my own pocket. He was rude and argumentative. Until this day, my vehicle does not shift correctly.
