Sometimes the best places are the ones you stumble upon by accident!…read more When we first moved to the area, my daughter's glasses broke IN HALF. Not bent. Not crooked. BROKEN. Apparently, her glasses decided they were done with life. We randomly found Eye Optique, and these wonderful people went above and beyond to temporarily fix them. And the cost? ZERO. ZIP. NADA. They didn't know us, we weren't customers, and they didn't try to sell us anything. Just genuine kindness and a willingness to help. That little act of kindness earned them our business. I later sent my husband and daughter back for eye exams, and once again, they delivered! Honest, polite, professional, and reasonably priced, which I especially appreciate since we don't have vision insurance. No pressure, no unnecessary upselling, just good old-fashioned customer service. My verdict: They fixed a pair of glasses and earned a family's trust. Now THAT'S how you build a loyal customer base! Eye Optique, you've got our eyes AND our business!

Originally we were going to go with Pearl Vision, which is just down the street from here, but the reviews scared us off and I settled on Eye Optique instead. My son had gone here for contacts a few months ago and seemed pleased with his experience and they have generally good reviews too. Scheduling our appointment online was easy and we received both confirmation and reminders about it after making it. There was plenty of availability to choose from. We scheduled our appointments back to back so that we could knock it all out at once. The doctor was great! She was professional and thorough. Both hubby and I felt comfortable with the exam and her competence. The guy working the front was also very professional and friendly. Once the glasses came in, he took his time to ensure that the fit was perfect for each of us before we left. While we spent more than we normally do at America's Best even with insurance covering a portion of it, we feel like the service and quality live up to the cost. The issue is that they don't have any cheap frames. Most options are designer names. Since we typically only get reading glasses, I will most likely just do the exam here and order frames online going forward because I'm cheap and not interested in spending big bucks on reading glasses that I hate wearing anyway, but this is no reflection on the quality of Eye Optique, which I think is top notch, and I am glad we ended up here.

I am always hyper aware that I am being watched fairly closely when I'm in the store but today I overheard one of the sales associates complaining about a black man that was asking for him to unlock the cage for him to buy a product and him saying it's a privilege for them to even be here and when I asked for clarification of what was meant by that comment, I was just meant with a lot of performative confusion, but needless to say, I heard what I heard and will not be back. It's really sad to know that you think so little of the people who are your main patrons and it's actually a privilege to have us as customers.

I tried going to an eye doctor in Woodstock that is "local" and has lot of locations, and it was awful. They didn't even have the digital eye scanner (Optomap)!
