I have been to other eyeglass worlds and this is the nicest, friendliest and most informed group…read moreof people by far. They have quality affordable brand name frames and depending on your prescription and option may even have your glasses ready the same day. They are right next door to Outback so you can grab lunch or dinner while they make your glasses. I had an issue from another provider and they were very patient with me and assisted in getting my issues resolved. This is my new home for eye glasses.

Went there this afternoon for an exam and for new glasses. The tech explained the exam and the…read morecost, so I went along. I did decline the eye dilation as I am sensitive to light. I thought there was an extra charge for that, but since the bill does not itemize who knows. Also during the exam one of the lights used to look into the eye didn't work, so it was certainly not a 100% exam. Off to the showroom where there is no progressives glasses for $199.00 as on their webpage. They start at $219.00 After picking out two pair I sat down while the salesperson entered the information to verify the glasses I picked would work with the prescription. I was then quoted over $550.00 for the two pair of glasses. When I asked why it was not the $219.00 I was told some kind of my wide angle lens was required. I was then told that if I did not want this wide angle lens they would do it for the $219.00 I told him I do not appreciate people who do business this way, and I left. I gave them the 2 stars because there technician was very good, and the doctor seemed to care. As for the rest it is pure bait and switch.

Dr Testke did a very thorough exam and suggested new lenses.. And miracles of miracles I could see completely again and NO Diplopia! I am so indebted to Dr Testke and True Eye Experts. He liberally saved my psyche as o can know see clearly see everything and can now read and doe my accounting without mistakes. And I recommend Dr Testke so very much.

Good afternoon…read more I've been going to True Eye Experts, even before you changed hands over 10 years. First New Tampa, and then Lutz. I've never had a bad experience, everyone is extremely pleasant and professional until now. First let me say that one of the techs in Lutz (red hair) is extremely rude, no customer service skills. I've worked in customer service for over 20 years. One of the first things I ever learned is, the customer is always right, even if they're not. You do not talk over a customer. You are there to listen. Not to be the person who thinks they are right. Now, with that being said, if the customer is irritated to begin with and not being rude, not cussing, however, I was being loud, you do not tell them you're are going to disengage. You stop, you listen, and reslolve. If you cannot resolve it, you stop, you listen, and let the customer finish, most especially when you have just broke a 350 dollar pair of sunglasses and with the lens that I purchased from your company, I had 750 dollars into these sunglasses, and then, she tells me that they are not responsible, and said they told me that. The tech that took my sunglasses to the back to adjust them. She never said anything about not being responsible for the glasses or else I never would have handed them to her, it was not even a thought in my head that she would break them. Now mind you, they are plastic lenses, Dolce Gabana. You do not try to bend plastic frames in which she did, and snapped them in half. My whole thought was she was going to go back there to soften the backs to fit securely on my ears. The tech that was so rude contacted me on Monday morning, and gave me 3 solutions...and...she again was talking over me. First solution - they can get the same glasses through their parent company and that worked, until she couldn't get the style I had. She asked me several times if I wanted the ones they found, not the ones I intially purchased. I told her no that wasn't going to work. I went out and purchased another pair yesterday. Just like the ones they broke, but they can't get a hold of them Second solution - I could purchase a frame from their selection. I said no, that wasn't going to work. Third solution - I could bring my lenses in that I purchased and relanquish them, and then they would refund me the money for the lenses. Please tell me in what world does that make sense? You refund me the money for the lenses that I bought, and then I have to turn around, and buy them back. If they give me the money back for my lenses, since I can't get the glasses that I initially bought, and I'll walk away satisfied.
