I recently had an awkward exchange with an employee at sunglass hut in the Richland mall. I'm a frequent flier as I find it easier to run to the mall and look at sunglasses in person.....since there are limited options for designer brands in Waco. I brought in a pair of Prada glasses that were badly cracked. I walked up to the counter and the girl was sitting down looking at a device. I stood for a moment and wondered if she might notice I was there. She looked up at me and asked me what I needed in a rude tone as if I was bothering her. I said I'm here for sunglasses. She said ok... like help with something orrr do you want to look at glasses. ... very condescending and terrible customer service right out of the gate! I told her about my problem with the damaged glasses and she was almost defensive like it was not a problem that she wanted to deal with. I told her the man that was here a couple of weeks ago told me I had a warranty and to bring in my glasses before it expires in July. She asked what the man looked like! As if she didn't believe me. As if that wasn't horrible enough she then questioned my story as if I made it up. We went back and forth for a couple of minutes and I felt like I was on the stand having to defend myself to this toxic individual! The entire experience was embarrassing and this girl gives the company a bad name. I left and walked away feeling like an idiot. Needless to say if I see her there I won't be buying any sunglasses.
