When I dropped my chair off, we talked further about the changes I'd like to make to the chair. He throughly inspected it and made some suggestions. I felt like he really understood what I was looking for and his suggestions helped to make it cost effective versus buying a new piece of furniture. Josh has tons of fabric books to choose from at his shop and he allowed me to bring a few home. Seeing the fabric samples in my own space really helped a lot in my decision. One should note that the estimate reflects a base price for fabric. The actual final cost will more than likely increase. I found that most of the fabrics I was interested in were in the $60 per yard range. Costs can easily be much higher than that too! Aside from the wide range in fabric costs, his estimate for labor didn't change. A couple of weeks later the chair was ready to be picked up. Josh did a fantastic job. My chair looks good as new! I'm so glad that I choose to give my business to a local small business. It's also ethical to reuse what I already had as well as get a custom chair all at the same time!
