I've been fulfilling all my sunglass needs at the Sunglass Hut since the late 1990s so I have a fairly long history with them. So my current sunglasses were definitely showing their age and I was looking to replace them so I stop by the kiosk in the mall. Again, I'm horrible with names so please forgive me. The gentleman that was there was very helpful and friendly. He probably brought forth a dozen different models based upon the sunglasses that I was currently wearing. I was having a difficult time making up my mind and never once did his demeanor change. Ultimately I ended up not making a purchase that day and walked away, but I did have two pairs that I liked. The next day I went back determined to walk away with a new pair of sunglasses. There was a different person there this time so I had them pull out the two pair that I had liked the day before and began my internal debate again. I was leaning towards one pair and I don't know if the lady could tell that, or if she just liked that pair better herself but she recommended one of the pairs to me and I was sold. This was probably the most I've debated over a simple pair of sunglasses, but never once did either person helping me get tired of my internal debate. This was a rather enjoyable shopping experience and has solidified the chances that when I am in the market again for some sunglasses that I will return to the Sunglass Hut.

Was told it hadn't been a…read moreyear since my eye appointment so unless my vision changed they would send me a reminder to come in when it was time for checkup. They said my glasses coverage for $300 was available now. So I proceeded to get new glasses pair brand which have magnetic sun glasses that attach over. Paid extra for anti scratch and anti reflective and for warranty protection. Still paid $200 over the Medicare insurance out of pocket. Went in today because the middle of both lenses are scratched and I clean and store them properly so they shouldn't be scratched at all. Said they couldn't fix. Said my warranty had expired a month ago. I said you were supposed to tell me when my anniversary for eye exam was due. They said we should have called or sent you reminder. Checked email and spam no reminder. I said if you would have called my warranty would have still been good. They said what do you want to do? I said go somewhere else I guess no reason to buy another cheap piece of crap. No offer to make things right no offer half off nothing. Didn't care. Glasses were cheap. Certainly not a good place to do business with. Buyer beware.

Also, my last doctor, not at this location, said I wasnt a great candidate for contacts. However, this doctor actually did the exam and gave me some great alternatives in contacts. Loved that he had suggestions and listened to my wants while also giving his professional opinion. I ws in and out of the place. Dr. Was masked and gloved when doing my exam!!!! Cons: there was an older white woman working at the front who came from behind the counter to watch a Black couple look at glasses. She was literally staring at them. The other person at the desk had to call her to help another customer who was trying to get her attention. The couple did not steal. Overall though, the experience was really pleasant I would come back!

I looked for somewhere that could help me out and I didn't have to look any farther than All About Eyes. I was able to schedule a next-day appointment at the time that I wanted. Everyone was extremely friendly even to my one year old daughter who was making a lot of noise :). The eye doctor was very helpful and efficient. The employee, Hunter, was very helpful and great to work with. They made sure my contacts will be in before I run out. Very thankful and will be back.

i am really getting irritated with Target as an entire company as of late...this is just the latest…read morelittle gem of piss-poor service I have experienced in my recent adventures with Target... I went here in February for a box of my disposable contacts after moving from TN. I of course have new insurance with the job change and have utilized Target Optical in TN for the past year. I went in and after they found out what fabulous insurance I have they got all excited about trying to sell me more and I also had my husband with me and I he went on back for an eye exam and when he came out they had him all talked into prescription sun glasses and top of the line frames and it is true that his insurance would have covered a great portion of this but he didn't need to be "sold" all this...they man needed glasses to see and he would have walked out of there with them if they just kept on track and worked with that and then let him know about some other extras...just because you can get a good deal doesn't mean you want to shell out more from your pocket...He would have been paying close to 400.00 out of pocket for all they suggested. I tell you this because in the height of all this shuckin' and jivein' by the sales people. I ended up getting supposedly a years supply of contacts that they put thru my insurance plan---I still had to pay around 60.00 out of pocket....but i left with a couple boxes of contacts....flash forward 6 months later---labor day weekend 2013---- I'm ready to take a road trip out of town....call hubby at work tell him to pick me up a box of my disposable contacts....Guess what----my prescription ran out in May...why in the world did they not update my prescription when I went in to them with new insurance in February.....???? I was livid...because I thought this had been done.... I called the store and had them pull my file because they couldn't find me in their computer system...she said she would call me back....she did not...I had to call them back....they had no solution for me....I asked if they could schedule an appointment for my return and give me a temporary disposable pair (which by the way Wal-mart has done on several occasions when I utilized them in the past) They were little bitches on the phone about this. I am done with Target optical and done with Target as a department store. This is the third strike in a month on their behalf with not living up to my service expectations .

He says "first off you need to see me every year not ever 3 years." Second he says "public service announcement, you need bifocols." BEFORE we even do an exam. He presents as the biggest dork you ever met but on top of that is a total lecuring asshole. So its a big red flag that this isnt going to go well. So i try to over look it. Then I let him know I have itching in my eyes and have a problem going on. When i do he says I cannot help you with that, just like a robot the whole thing. So at this point he starts the exam, and i before he can say more, i say are you going to help me with the issue my eye issue or not, and he says no and i say alright, your fired. Its hard to believe an idiot like this maintains emplyment. really. so next, I went over to walmart across the street and the dr was more that willing to help with the issue im having with my eye as well as do an exam. We wont be going back to target optical and im dropping the target eye insurnace from my work.
