Spent maybe two minutes with the surgeon, then was moved on to the sales pitch. On the day of surgery, I was told I would receive a sedative prior to surgery which did not happen. I was eventually wheeled into a hallway to wait my turn and the doctor came up to me and taped my head to the gurney much like a Dexter episode. Loud music was playing, lots of conversation between the surgical staff and surgeon. After wheeling me in, the surgeon put a weighted cover over my face which made it very difficult to breath. When I voiced my concern to the surgeon, he simply said the anesthesiologist would be in soon. After that, I don't remember a thing and eventually woke up in our truck on our way home. My husband told me I acted like I had Alzeimer's and was completely out of it. A week or so later, I received an email from a company I didn't recognize, asking me to review my anesthesia. I didn't respond. I don't recommend this company. The surgery, btw, was ok.

I also started having more and more frequent headaches, no matter what we did with the prescription. I decided to make a consultation to see if I was eligible for Lasik. I'm so glad I did! The consultation was fantastic. The front desk lady was also a tech and did all my testing before the doctor. She was soooo great and personable. She made me feel so at ease and comfortable. Next, the doctor did some other tests and decided I was a good candidate for LASIK. She was absolutely great as well and told me it would be life-changing for me since my eyesight was so bad. She was right! So, on my procedure day, we were told to be there around 230pm. I can say we waited sooo long before I went back, over 2 hours past my appointment. It was a bit frustrating, but not a huge deal. There were many people there, like way more than I expected to be there. Anyway, once I went back, my eyes were numbed with some drops, then it was showtime! The room with the laser has an "observation" area; my fiance was able to watch the entire procedure through the windows and on the monitor. I thought that was super cool. As far as the procedure went? Easy, so easy. The doctor made me feel so comfortable, talked me through everything, and it was a flawless experience. Makes me wish I did this a decade ago. It didn't hurt at all, and I couldn't believe how easy it was to get through. I had some stinging later that night, but nothing crazy. The next day, some photosensitivity, but nothing I'm not accustomed to anyway. Seriously, an easy experience! This was a great idea and I'm so happy I chose this place to do it.

Dr Ellis did my procedure & honestly in and out in ~10 ish minutes if that. Maybe 5 min lol. Recovery was very very easy. Maybe uncomfortable for 2-3 days but I just took Benadryl around the clock to sleep through those days. I was really happy with the result but over the years noticed I was having issues seeing street signs & horrible night vision. Which I always knew was a possibility so I got the lifetime warranty up front. Now come October 2025, I had some time off work & decided to get an enhancement. I can't wear contacts bc of some eye thing I forget, and I'm too active for glasses. Dr Gaines (again the sweetest person alive) recommended prk this time. Dr Ellis did my procedure again easy peasy but I will say it felt like it took longer? And a bit more pressure/uncomfortable than lasik but I didn't have Valium this time so maybe it was just in my head. It didn't hurt by any means but I think I was a bit more freaked out & in my head. Healing process sucked. Absolutely could not open my eyes for 2-3 days. Tearing up all the time. Horrible horrible. I was back to normal ish after 5 days & even then my eyes were so sensitive to light and I had to rest a lot. And everything was blurry and I won't lie I was spiraling and worried that I was going blind. I can't imagine working immediately after the procedure. I got the protective lens removed after 6th day & I'd say I was able to see everything clearly by then. But I'm two months post enhancement & im very very happy with the results. Dry eyes in the morning is real but I use ointment at night & that helps a ton. TLDR lasik in 2018, prk enhancement in 2025 (horrible recovery). doctors & staff amazing. No regrets.

I had a -10 eyesight so LASIK wasn't an option for me. I filled out the form on his website, received a call within a minute, they asked some more basic questions, scheduled me for an appointment. The appointment was extremely professional with great customer service. They are very upfront and honest about what to and what not to expect. They put everything in very easy to read writing, provide you with videos they developed (you'll recognize many of the staff members from your visit). Was I scared during surgery, absolutely. You just have to put your trust in him. You lay on a table, (in my case) you see a purple light and a white jellyfish thing and about four minutes or so later it's done. You sort of have "underwater vision" right afterwards but by the end of the night I was playing video games. The next day I was driving without issue and there was never any pain at all. 1000% recommended, wish I made the call years ago.

I asked if they could make it an hour. Maggie told me to just call her and gave me the number and told me to hit 4 and then 3 and it would take it to her. Lies! It took me to an automated number with hold music that literally gave me a headache. After 12 minutes, it disconnected me. I never spoke to a person. Then I left a voicemail. I waited and did not receive a call back in 30 minutes. I called back again and was on hold for around 10 minutes again. Finally someone very apathetic answered. I shared what I went through and he was so bland, so bored that I almost hung up. I finally said, "You have 10 minutes to resolve this.After that, I am hanging up and you can consider the order cancelled." In 8 minutes, I bounced to 2 other people before finally reaching someone who took my credit card information. Lousy customer service. Hire better people. Get rid of those who can't remember to charge the card reader and whose best customer service is slow apathy. 70 minutes to pay my bill is ridiculous.
