Eye exam was amazing with quick service and fantastic doctors. The Lens Crafters Team ,which is separate, wouldn't attend to me but were taking on customers that just walked in after I had talked to them stating I was going to purchase several pairs of glasses. I asked for the closest location to theirs and they rudely told me where it was. I left and drive a hour to much better service! worth the drive! read more

This place is great, we came in to fix our glasses because they were bent, they fixed and cleaned them in 7 minutes. Very quick service.

Was able to get an eye exam appointment before the end of last year. The optometrist answered many questions and I can definitely tell a difference in my improved eyesight. Perused the frame selection for a long time. The young gentleman assisting me was patient and funny. Left there approximately $600 poorer but satisfied. After nine months of wear, seeing through my lenses became more difficult. No matter what, I could not get my lenses clean. Smudges and oil became new, unwanted fashion accessories. Finally I realized the scratch resistant coating had deteriorated. My lenses looked like a graffiti artist had drawn on iridescent lines. I returned to LC and the young lady told me since I hadn't used specific LC lens cleanser, it damaged my lenses. Her customer service skills left a lot to be desired. I felt like I was a bother, considering I was the only customer in the store on a Saturday afternoon. To remedy the situation, I'm now $25 poorer to get replacement lenses. This has been a disheartening experience. Thank goodness I still had my old eyeglasses as a backup. read more

Came in with my wife, Jeanette, a few weeks ago and was pretty displeased. The guy helping, Sylvester, was being very pushy with my spouse until she text me to come inside. Said he even started raising her voice with her until I came inside. He then backed off. It doesn't sit well with me even a little bit, that you'd be aggressive towards a lady in any fashion, until another man comes forward. The guy stunk badly. It smelled and appeared like he doesn't bathe for very long amounts of time and his breath was just offensive. Absolutely no hygiene whatsoever. When he would lift his arms, it smelled like onions. So I guess you guys will just hire anyone these days, huh? I asked the on duty manager, Liz, if this was behavior she was proud of. She looked at me and says "huh?" I could tell there wasn't much going on upstairs, if you know what I mean. It's odd to me that she would turn a blind eye to all of these things. Never coming here again. I also noticed there are next to no unfavorable reviews here, which tells me you remove anything forthcoming. So for that reason, I'll take this over to another review site as well, where you can't remove it. Good riddance. read more

I went for my eye exam. I told the Dr, not Dr Reid, but the younger guy that the only reason I was there is because my reading glasses were scratched up and I just needed another pair to replace them, since insurance was covering them. All this Dr tried to do was keep selling me options I didn't want. When I got my glasses, I found out that the Dr had prescribed me bifocals. I returned them and they made me another pair which was suppose to be exactly my old pair, since my prescription hadn't really changed. Again, when I got the glasses, they were worthless to me as they screwed up again. I now had to make another appointment to see Dr Reid this time. When I got there, Dr Reid wasn't in the office and they kept trying to get me to see the other guy. I refused numerous times and finally asked them to credit my insurance back for the costs and I would take my business elsewhere. Even though this whole incident was their fault, I was told that since it had been past 30 days, even though it was due to their screw ups, I was not gonna be able to return the glasses. I now have a pair of glasses that I can't use until my insurance kicks back in, I'm 2 years. My opinion is this office does everything they can to bait and switch you with Dr's and pad the bill so they can get more money from the insurance company read more

My husband and I went for our eye exams. We were so please with Dr. Reed. She was very thorough and patient and took her time with both of us. My husband had to go back on several occasions and she was working to get the best result for him to see his best due to his astigmatism. She and her staff worked very hard to get the right glasses and the right kind of contact. So happy to have she and her staff to help him. The girls at LensCrafters went above and beyond to help me find the glasses that I wanted. They looked all over for four different pair of glasses for me and found every pair as their store doesn't carry the brands that I was interested in. I want to tell you every one of the girls that works at this Lenscrafters ended up working with me and they were all exceptionally nice and extremely helpful. Thank you, Maria, Julie, Cheryl, Connie, every other woman in there. It's funny, these reviews are for the eye dr who is not employed by Lens Crafters. The real magic happens when you try to get the glasses. For years I went there and constantly told its law that children REQUIRE polycarbonate lenses and even heard them tell others the same. I finally called their corp and asked them. They said there was no such law. I went back to the store and questioned what law. Instantly said it was state law, which one? State law they kept repeating, they called another lady over who then said it was federal law...well which is it? The said call corp..I already did. You claim a law exists but dont know which law it is. Then claimed company policy..which there isnt... I asked Corp already. Tired if them using scare tactics and ignorance to bilk another $70+ out of customers read more

I saw Dr Reed for a problem. She was remarkably helpful, taking time to make me aware of other issues I had but hadn't realized there were possible solutions. She took time and explained my eye health. Lorrane was wonderful too. Very professional. I felt well cared for. I consider this my eyecare home. I would not hesitate to recommend them. read more

It inexplicably took more than 2 hours to get an exam and order a new pair of glasses. I'm still not happy with the glasses (remade 3x but they still hurt my head). Two calls to optometrist went unreturned and the office manager was less than helpful. (By the way, you don't have the best return policy in the industry. ) Some staff are pleasant, but for others, it's just a business (), instead of it being about eye care, health, and wellbeing. read more

As a patient waiting in front of the counter facing the eye technicians and the eye technician manager. In the optometry side of Lenscrafters I found very disturbing how much rude and negative comments the staff made when they got off the phone with customers. They have a fake nice on the phone but when they hang up they all talk about that customer like the person was crazy. Extremely unprofessional. Very disappointed the mean catlike behavior of the staff. The price of the glasses and contact screening is extremely expensive just for the staff to talk about you when you walk out of the door. read more

Let me say this Lenscraftes sucks. I took my glasses their to get them reframed into a new pair of frames, these people totally scratched the surfaces of my lens. When i asked them about the scratches they denied and stated they didnt due that I brought them into the store like that in the first place. Right sure I had them for only a day and I put several scratches on them sure. customer service sucks and to top it all off they were talking about their customers in front on me like they were dirt. I stopped by there today to have lenses changed in my Ray Ban sunglasses. I called and asked first and was told no problem changing out. When I arrived you would have thought I asked where the ATM was. The rude, distant behavior was the first experience. A lady took my sunglasses most unwilling and went into the back. She appeared about 5 minutes later stating "we don't have that kind of tool to remove the lenses". I told her that Ray Ban expressly recommended LensCrafters to replace the lenses. She seemed befuddled. The irony is that Lens Crafters stocks and had the same exact sunglasses in their display. The biggest Lens Crafters in the area did not have the "tool". I went across the street to the Lens Crafters in the Mall and BEHOLD! They had the tool and knew exactly what I was asking. Simply amazing that two stores about a 1/2 mile apart would be polar opposites. I would not recommend this store, go somewhere else. read more
