I hadn't had an eye exam in quite awhile and decided it was time to take care of that! I called my…read moreregular eye doctor and they informed me that he had moved away! So, I got on yelp to see what other places were near me. After reading the reviews for Metro Eye Care, I wanted to try this place. The great reviews were on the money! I was so impressed with this place! Everyone was so nice and professional. I just loved the Doctor! She was so caring and calm. I loved how thorough she was and she took away all my worries. I am so happy that I gave this place a try! I have found a new eye Doctor! I highly recommend this place!

Since my next annual appointment isn't for another 5 months, and after talking with Bryce, I realized it would be quite expensive to replace them. Since I really need my glasses, he suggested a more affordable alternative. I told him I would think about it and left. After a couple of weeks I decided to take his advice and went in and ordered another pair of glasses to get me by until my next appointment. My glasses were ready the following week and I love them. Bryce is a real asset to Metro Eye Care and I just wanted them to know.

This is always an indicator of great management. When staff are happy engaging in work and welcoming then you know this is a great business. The selection of frames is amazing. I worked for a corporate optical for several years and we were limited on what variations we could get of frames. Well not at Heitz they have such a great selection and at amazing price points. I wanted a frame I found on line and it was not one normally in stock...no problem it was ordered and there in a week with no obligation to buy. I did in-fact choose it. I will close by saying the store has an in-store lab and this attention to detail is so important especially for progressive lens and people with astigmatism. I have not had such well made glasses since I was making my own! They take most insurance and are an easy drive up to Alton, IL. Trust me it is worth the drive you will be pleased with the drive to Heitz.

According to their mission statement "you will find eye care professionals who genuinely care about…read moreyour health and are dedicated to providing exceptional personal service to everyone who walks through our door." This statement is a total lie! I'm not sure how they can claim that they genuinely care about your health when they tell you they are going to research info about contacts for you but never calls you back. He even acknowledged that he "ghosted" me when I stopped in their office to find out what was going on. Once again, he said he was going to call a company for more information and get back with me the next week. That was back in September and I haven't heard from his office since then. They are not worth me wasting my time with an office who clearly does NOT care about their patients! Glenda B
