With that being said, my BF has been very good lately. Such a fine young gentlemen who is a good friend to animals and has been awesome about taking my poor little sick kitty to the vet and giving him his very hard to administer medicine twice a day SO I decided to reward him and surprise him with a gift... and use Sweetest Day as a cover so he doesn't expect a gift every time he's nice, cause I'd be broke. Okay, enough sappy crapola... I wanted to get him some nice sunglasses because he's only ever had super crappy cheap ones that he breaks all the time. I was specifically looking for those hip, trendy wayfarer Ray Bans that all the sexy hipsters wear (yes, I think hipsters are sexy). He had gotten a knock off pair in Croatia for 20 Kuna ($5 bucks) and they broke exactly 6 days later on our first day back in the states. This location had a crap ton of Ray Bans to choose from in all different colors and styles and everything you could think of. There was one young girl manning the store and she promptly came over to help me but without being pushy. She told me about their special on polarized lenses and how most of the Ray Bans can be considered unisex, etc. I thought I'd be able to pick out a pair for him on my own but there was just so much to choose from. I had to call the BF and tell him to help me out. When we both returned the bf was super excited and surprised. The same lone girl came over to help and assist with any questions and when we had none, she was good about staying out of the way. I made him try on tons of glasses in a variety of colors before he settled on a pair. I go up to pay and the girl tells us that if anything happens to the glasses in the next year, that we can bring them back and get them fixed or replaced for 1/2 price. She said anything short of losing them and they can still replace- awesome! Cause if I know the BF, they'll be run over, melted, or stepped on in no time. The only thing I wasn't a huge fan of is that the pair you take home is the pair from the display. I was thinking they'd have stock in the back but instead they cut the sticker off the floor model and wipe down the fingerprints and facial grease of everyone else who has ever tried them not. I mean, sunglasses don't take up that much space; I'd like for an inventory of new glasses to take home for $130, ya know.

I walked out pretty happy with my new shades, BUT Not even like 3 hours later as I was wearing them out, my new 200$ raybans just dissembles and falls off my face. I was at a festival and there was no way I was going to be able to find the screw that popped out. For this to happen to brand new 200$ glasses is absurd, and embarrassing. I went back to the store the very next day and told them what happened. The response? The girl asked me if I bought the protection plan, Which I didn't. (I take care of my things so I never need such plans) She then told me they are broken and she cannot take them back, (They are in perfect condition, they were DEFECTED) So why was it okay to sell them to me like that? Absolutely horrid customer service. THEY WILL SELL YOU DEFECTED GLASSES THEN TELL YOU THEY CANT HELP YOU WHEN THEY FALL OFF YOUR FACE! THE SAME DAY! Do not shop here. I honestly feel like I was scammed. I now have brand new 200$ glasses that I cannot wear. I tried to search for the screw myself but no luck, I even went to lenscrafters and they told me I should have been given at the very least and exchange. Horrible Business practices going on here. What a weak offering for a Sunglass Hut. I was in a pickle and needed shades and opted to order…read moreahead of time so I can pick them up. Yes it did say "2 hours" to get your email to confirm my order would be ready but I didn't get an email until 2 days later saying the item I bought was out of stock and would be sent to the store for pick up soon. So why allow me to order then? So before I knew about the email served 2 days later, I opted to try to pick up the Sunglasses. It said in Google the store opens at 11am. I waited a good 20 minutes and nada. I ended up calling later that day to find out no one was around to open the store until 1p. So I asked to cancel my order. I'm not 100% sure it was because of the email saying it was coming to the store soon for pick up. What a mess, never again.
