I purchased a pair of Maui Jim sunglasses approximately 9 months ago. After only 3 months I…read morenoticed that the side pieces, which have 2 parts started to come apart. I notified Maui Jim and they directed me to ship the sunglasses back to the manufacturer. Even though the glasses had a defect , I was required to pay shipping costs of $40. Six weeks later I received the sunglasses back . Within weeks the same problem arose whereas the rear piece of the side piece began to come apart. This piece fits over the ear. Each time I put the glasses on and removed them the rubber side piece begins to slide off the metal frame. I requested that the store exchange the glasses for a new pair which has a permanent plastic side piece of approximately equal value. I paid $280 for these Maui Jim sunglasses, which are the most expensive pair I have ever owned. This is the worst product experience I've had with any optical glasses. I strongly recommend that you don't purchase Maui Jim products from this store as they were unwilling to rectify a replacement or refund for this obviously defective product.

I am terrible at making decisions or judging glasses on myself, so I was thrilled when the folks working there called me over to try a pair they thought would work on me (unprompted), and then they helped me try a few more on until the consensus was reached on the perfect frames. Could they have put some absurdly expensive designer frames on me to make a bigger sale? Sure. But instead, they really focused on a pair that suited my new short hair and framed my face (pun intended) beautifully. Their customer service is top notch. I bought a pair of Ray-Bans from them over a year ago. Unfortunately, I lost the pair and we contacted the sales associate Jen who went above and beyond looking through company records to find exactly what model I had purchased. She was very helpful and called us back on multiple occasions to assist in replacing the shades I misplaced. Overall, this is a 10 out of 10 small business with exceptional customer service. I had selected 2 frames and asked if they had any other suggestions and tried several other frames. I purchased the first frame I selected and I'm very excited to receive my order next week. The staff came around and offered their opinion with my permission which I find helpful and the other clients as well, it was a wonderful experience and I would suggest this location and company.
