I was impressed (I come from a florist industry background). Much nicer than the other flowers that were there. Sometimes funeral flowers are not the best quality. This was the first time I used A Cut Above Florist but it most certainly will not be my last! The bouquet was delivered on time and it was absolutely beautiful - my Aunt LOVED them! I purchased the "bouquet of the day" and it was a huge arrangement of all sorts of fresh, beautiful, spring flowers with lots of baby's breath and fern. There were even roses, Gerber daisies and tulips! I am very happy and would recommend very highly.

This store is a bit smaller than some of the locations in Eastern MA, but overall it's decent. The issues that we generally have with this store is that the items are typically scattered and the items are hard to find. The other issue is that the checkout lines are usually slow. Beyond that, it's not a bad place to shop and we will continue to stop in when we are in the Holyoke area.

Obviously, I don't want an overly peppy sales person but if you're job is to stand at the door and greet someone I'd expect you to. Granted, there are a few that do but for the most part they just watch. Also, the girls in the fitting room always look miserable and are never very helpful. The staff is also not aware of what they have or where things are. I don't blame them because the store is so big, but I'd expect the sales people to be at least somewhat knowledgeable of what they have in stock. I don't know how many times I've walked in there looking for a specific item and asking someone and getting either an "I don't know" or being directed four different places by four different sales people without finding it. Or, the time I asked three different people something and went to all the places they told me to but finding it myself on my way out in my frustration. However, I do still come here sometimes. You can't beat the prices it just gets really annoying and sometimes I feel that the cheap prices aren't worth the crappy quality and hours in the store. If you're in the mood to shop- really in the mood to shop- and are on the hunt for a cheap outfit you're only going to wear once or twice then this is the place to go. Other than that, there's a Wet Seal and H&M in the mall that offer the same quality clothes with the same prices but are much less daunting and the staff seems to be better. Homegoods, would be the hipster, liberal, eccentric child that drives an old Subaru covered with stickers. Hangs out in Northampton, and is struggling with a marijuana addiction. Currently 2 years into their freshman year at Amherst College. Marshalls, The redheaded stepchild of the bunch. Endured constant abuse from the other siblings. Makes a living selling Avon and enjoys a chaotic life of constantly revolving shitty apartments, and bad luck. Drives a Honda Civic with one red door and a permanent donut, but is the happiest of the bunch. We shuffled along, looking at shoes, clothing, sleepwear. Nothing appealed to us. We figure the things one sells, the others sell, but for some reason, on this particular day, we didn't seem to connect. THEN, I saw a pair of black leather boots, Franco Sarto, for which I had long ago given up the search. They were there, and they were in my size,and they had only the one pair. I grabbed them, tried them on, and was thrilled to find a good fit. I would have happily paid full price ($125) had I ever found them during my original search (I had seen them at a high-end store, but not in my size). These were priced at $89. I walked out happy. My daughter, a lover of snacks, found several bags of goodies that she liked, so she did, too. I have since gone back three or four times, but am now convinced that, for some reason, it just isn't as great as the others. So we still make the longer drive when we need a Maxx run. Cones, shakes, sundaes, banana splits are yours to enjoy at a reasonable price and a pretty generous portion.
