Camarillo outlets I was charged twice for the same purchase and I called them today to verify the double charge and the manager was extremely aggressive and rude. She said she can't check that over the phone and she can't deal with that. She doesn't know that she just lost a client who buys glasses with them for years. I always buy two sunglasses every time I go there. If she can't talk with clients over the phone, maybe she doesn't know how to manage a business. She is working at the wrong place. read more

When it comes to buying new sunglasses, there are only so many places to pick up a new pair. You can shop at... Your local gas station where you can select some cheap shades that will probably get the job done and are especially great if you are not worried about the brand name. (I just hope the are rated for some sort of UV protection) Or A fashion house boutique where you will easily drop 3-5 crispy 100 hundred dolla bills in exchange for guaranteed hearts on your Instagram or latest TikTok video. Please just don't tell me you are only wanting those Gucci, Burberry or Prada shades just so you can do your part in Keeping up with the Kardashians. Or One of the big box anchor stores at the mall in hopes of finding that pair you just saw in the latest Vogue September issue only to find out they only have last seasons styles. Or (you can make the smart choice) And you can shop at the one place that will meet every budget, have all the top designers and will allow you to have the Sunglass Hut experience which will find the right shape for your face and get you into the pair that's guaranteed to make you look your best. -------------------------------------------------- During a recent visit to the Camarillo outlets, we were on the hunt for some new shades. Upon our arrival, Frankie assisted us from start to finish and was a huge help in getting my wife and I the perfect pair. He listened to what we were looking for, gave great suggestions based on what we'd told him we wanted and provided great customer service throughout our time in the store. Frankie allowed us time to try on various pairs that we we were interested in and even gave us a few options that he saw were similar to the styles we seemed to gravitate towards. What I love about the Sunglass Hut is the ability to try on multiple brands, both high end designers and the brand names we've all come to know. Ultimately, we landed up leaving with two pairs and were very happy with both our purchase and the great customer service given by Frankie. read more

Sunglass Hut - Got some new shades! Thank you Frankie for your great service! - Sunglasses Near Me - Camarillo, California

Never expected to leave a review for this store! I had the most wonderful experience from start to finish that I really wanted to mention it. Certainly I'm a novice for sunglasses but the phenomenal staff here at this storefront, made me feel like a seasoned sunglasses connoisseur. This was genuinely the most helpful, passionate patient and attentive team of experts I've ever encountered in a shopping experience. The Dream team. Sarah in particular guided me in arriving at a pair of sunglasses that I absolutely love. Her knowledge and passion helped me imagine the frames that would be "the ones". Dan is the best of the best as well, he really knows his craft and also assisted me in the shopping experience. A third employee who i didn't catch her name as she was assisting other shoppers, was also fantastic , wishing me well as i was checking out. They arranged for the Sunglasses to be shipped to my house and when I opened the package I was in love with the frames, extremely comfortable and stylish. Thank you a million, for a memorable experience in the truest sense. - Brent M read more

My husband and I had an extremely disappointing experience at Sunglass Hut (Suite 508) this evening. We went to pick up a product we had ordered after receiving a call from the store. From the moment we walked in, the sales associate, Emily, was unprofessional--rolling her eyes and clicking her mouth in annoyance. When we provided the phone number that had called us (805-484-3799), Emily dismissively stated that it was not a Sunglass Hut number and responded with attitude. She then called the manager, Alex, to ask if he had called us, and when he said no, she rudely told us that she had tried to explain the item wouldn't be arriving but didn't think we would understand--again, with an unnecessary attitude. We calmly told her that perhaps the call had been a mistake, but instead of de-escalating the situation, she told us we were beneath her and asked us to leave. As we were exiting, my husband retrieved our receipt, which Emily had been keeping out of reach. Before leaving, he noticed a pair of glasses and stopped to take a look while I stood by the door texting a client. At that moment, Emily suddenly asked if she could help us, to which we politely declined. Her response was shocking--she aggressively told us to "get the hell out" of her store because we were making her nervous. My husband and I are in our 60s--why would we make her nervous? She then began yelling that we were giving her a panic attack, even though we were not engaging with her at all. I tried to explain that my husband was just looking at glasses, but she continued to yell at us to leave, threatening to call security. I told her to go ahead and call security, as we had done nothing wrong. She proceeded to make a call, falsely claiming that we were yelling at her and causing a scene--all while we stood there in shock at her behavior. When security arrived, we calmly explained what had happened, and they apologized to us. We then visited the other Sunglass Hut location (next to Michael Kors), where the staff was much kinder and also apologized on behalf of their colleague. This was by far the worst customer service experience we have ever had. When we initially paid for our order, there were no issues, but when we went to pick it up (which had not even arrived), we were treated with complete disrespect and told to leave. As senior citizens, we found this treatment not only unprofessional but outright appalling. I sincerely hope that Sunglass Hut's management addresses this incident and ensures that employees at Suite 508 receive proper training on how to treat customers with basic respect. read more

Super nice sunglasses at all different price ranges, the staff member Destiny was very sweet and helpful and made the process really easy!

Awesome selection of glasses and super friendly staff to help you and their prices are amazing and they have good discounts

Do not go there!! Dishonest and unprofessional! I paid over $349 about 14 months ago, I was told that I have a warranty for two years on both of my glasses I came to the Thousand Oaks store to return an exchange order. I have existing to find out from my surprise that they lied to me and the warranty only for 13 month, which indicated on the receipt, and I failed to look at it. So since Camarillo store lied to me, I called the store to explain them. What happened and the person that answered the phone her name is Sam. I told you exactly what happened and just because I asked her for her name she said "she was going to help me , but because I asked for her name she hang up the phone on me , but before she hang up, she said that she is not going to help me! I was polite on the phone and all I did. I was trying to resolve she did not give me any solution and this is the reason I asked for her name I'm not sure why she was so upset because I asked for her name! Unprofessional and i will never go back there again! read more

I had the most AMAZING experience with the friendliest employee there named Alexah. She was so helpful and her customer service was above and beyond. She provided me solutions that a nearby location never did or never even offered. Will definitely be going back there for future purchases. read more

I came in for Black Friday on the hunt for hard to find designer sunglasses! Whole store was 30%! They found the extremely, extremely difficult to find glasses online and they were a Whopping 50% off! On top of this, there were other bonus promos at work, so I got an absolute steal on these gorgeous glasses, which are being shipped to my house! Thanks to the amazing customer service and commitment of Camy, I'm feeling like a million! And I'm NOT GOING BROKE SAVING MONEY! read more

Let me just start off by saying how wonderful and friendly the staff is at this particular location! Anel one of the sales associates worked her magic on some of my sunglasses which i had purchased a short while ago from sunglass hut. She bought them back to life!! Thank you Anel!!! She seriously deserves a raise! What a fantastic well rounded employee! read more

My first time in the store and asked for advice on good glasses to wear throughout the day. The one female and other male worker suggested glasses that seemed okay at first. Soon to find out they leave red marks on the sides of my nose after just minutes of wearing them. The customer service is not helpful and they just want to scam you out of your money. Would not recommend this location. read more

On 3/29/2022 I bought a pair of sunglasses here , the sale person is Sarah ( 571428) . She said if I paid the assurance fee ( $ 19.99) more I could exchange the same pair within 13 months , I'm ok with that . And today I passed by another store to make the exchange to another pair , the sale person told me I need to pay $40 more for the trading fee if I want to exchange the same new one , So it means besides the assurance fee I need to pay another fee is $40 and Sarah didn't mention about that , Or why Sunglass hut didn't take $60 at the beginning , and to me it's cheating ! read more

SHORT REVIEW: Came in just to ask a question about my Oakley batwolfs. They're a little stretched from 2 years of use and gsI asked Aaron if there was anything I could do and he said possibly heat them and bend them. He went ahead and tried but it didn't help. I did appreciate the tip about not placing them on my head since it's a wider angle and the fact that he tried to help. That's why they are getting 5 star. Employee attention to customer issues. Thank you! read more

Ahhh, the HUT. Great place to grab some cool shades. This location is an outlet, so theoretically the prices should be cheaper. I must admit that I don't frequent Sunglass Hut so I can't be sure if the prices here are cheaper or not. The only pair of glasses I liked was $255 so I wasn't seeing any great discounts, ha! The Camarillo Outlets have lots of great shops, clean and modern shops and plenty of parking. This Hut is regular sized and contains approx. 200 different styles of glasses. The employees were very friendly. Check it out! read more

Ask for REED or ANTHONY in the fashion court (next to Michael Kors). I hope they are still at this store. I last went in about a year ago to purchase two pairs of sunglasses. In this small store, they had TWO managers on duty! They had patience with me as I tried on ever pair of glasses to find the perfect fit. This may be an outlet; however, you will get better customer service here than ANY high end mall. Go see REED or ANTHONY in the fashion court. They WILL find you the perfect pair of sunglasses. read more

I mostly shop online, so I wasn't sure what to expect coming into a real life actual physical store haha. They had quite a large inventory to choose from and I found exactly what I wanted. The staff is very welcoming and attentive. Monica was the one to assist me throughout most of my browsing, she also guided me in the right direction of what I wanted to buy based off what I wanted the glasses for and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. So a big thank you! (If you ever read this Monica and remember me, I went with the chromances like you first suggested and i'm in love with them to the point that I don't want to take them off haha can't wait to hike up to Wisdom Tree with them) Really just say what you have in mind and this staff can point you in the right direction. I would of spent hours searching online, but I was in and out of this store in no time. Also thank you to Liz for finishing off my purchase and polishing the shades I bought. read more

Love that the store has safety rules for covid! Employees had masks and gloves on. But I have never felt so ignored and scrutinized at the same time by store employees like this before. Walked all sections of the Camarillo outlets and came in to buy sunglasses for a wedding party. But the employees were busy talking with each other while cleaning. The vibe was unprofessional, we didn't want to interrupt the pair. Eventually one of them said they noticed me looking at a couple brands and asked how they can help. It was off putting and too late. Mind you, it wasn't a busy time like the weekend or anything. read more

I had a wonderful experience at your Promenade location. I was normally helped out by Austin D. This time, I was greeted by a friendly & enthusiastic Dan. My Wayfarers has fallen apart at the arm because the screw came out while I was working earlier today. He slapped a new screw in, and polished up my trusty glasses to look fantastic again. The whole visit was excellent and the customer service he gave was top notch, a rare experience. I sure hope he reads this review! read more

Be careful before buying here, their glasses may have scratches on the glass. I bought one pair and right outside the store (in the sun) I realized they had scratches. I asked if they had other ones in stock, they said no. I asked for refund few minutes after my purchase because the other model I wanted was also the only pair of glasses in store with scratches. I guess most of their models are cheaper than other sunglass hut stores because of defects...? read more

Came for an exchange, it was the most difficult thing to do and on top of it rude customer service. Ended up doing my service as a return instead of a exchange and offered no help! Customer service here is amazing. One of the associates named Dan helped me fit my new Persol sunglasses to my face better despite the fact I purchased them at a different Sunglass Hut. The folks at the Thousand Oaks location clearly didn't know what they were doing when I purchased my new shades there but luckily my man Dan knew exactly what he was doing and now my shades feel great! Will definitely be returning here to purchase another pair in the future. Customer service here was much better than any Sunglass retailer I've ever experienced. Good work homies! read more

Just a shout out to Austin. About a year ago I bought some shades here and while I was finalizing the transaction...one of the workers offered to adjust my old sunglasses. Even though I didn't need it I just said yes out of convenience. When I got home my old glasses were crooked and I never got around to coming back until today. Austin informed me that the frame was bent and it wasn't something that usually happens with a simple adjustment. I was adament that the previous worker must have damaged them bc that's the truth. Luckily he was able to adjust them back to normal with ease and I went on with my day not being retroactively pissed about someone ruining my glasses a year ago lol. read more

bought some glasses about a year ago and they broke had been about the third time I came to get them fixed; i was helped by RONNIE she was extremely rude and sarcastic when she was "trying " to help let me tell you she wouldn't even let me explain my issue she interrupted me each time I tried to talked to her. When she looked up my name there were different glasses on there and kept telling me that she was going to charge me 100 dollars to get them fixed they weren't even those same glasses !!!! And these were a gift from my kids... I told her that it was fine I would go to a different store and rudely remarked that I wouldn't get this service else where of course I wouldn't I wouldn't expect more respect from a rep. The arm on my Wayfarers has been loose for the last year or so. I tried replacing the screw on it, but the screwdriver in my cheap repair kit wasn't working for me. I stopped in here on a whim (my family was out for pizza across the parking lot) just to see if they could either tighten the arm, or remove the screw for me so I could try to fix it on my own. I've had the glasses for a little over two years, so I really wasn't expecting much beyond that, in terms of service. Dyanna warmly greeted me as I walked in. I explained what was going on, and asked if she could help me out. She tried to tighten the screw, but realized it was as tight as it would go, so I asked her if she could just loosen it for me instead. She worked on the screw for awhile, and was eventually able to get it out. She informed me that it was a defect in the glasses and they shouldn't be like that. (Did I mention that during this time she was also patiently fielding questions from a customer that kept randomly breaking in to our conversation?) She told me that there was a two year manufacturers warranty, but I told her I'd had them for a little longer than that. After she got the screw out, she cleaned up my glasses, then went over to grab another pair. I thought that maybe since I was outside the warranty, she was going to do me a solid and replace the arm, or something. A few seconds later, she printed out a receipt and asked me to sign it. I asked what I was signing, and she told me that she was going to go ahead and replace my glasses!! WHAT?!?! I came in to see if I could get a screw tightened, and walked out with a brand new pair of glasses!! Talk about customer service!! Thank you so much, Dyanna!! You're the best!! read more
