This is an update. After my previous poor review, Gregg from Eyeglass Factory reached out to me…read moredirectly and we had a very friendly chat. He offered to make things right with both my and my wife's glasses, even though it had been several months since I had mine made. We both ended up having to go back to the eye doctor to make sure there was no error with the prescription. After that, we went to the store and explained the situation. Once they heard that Gregg had given his approval, they remade the lenses for both of us. As of today, I've picked up mine and the rainbow edges I was seeing before are gone, as well as a crack that had appeared due to the lenses not fitting the frames right. I'm satisfied that although we originally had a bad experience, Eyeglass Factory made things right in the end. Thanks Gregg!

She said she can't check that over the phone and she can't deal with that. She doesn't know that she just lost a client who buys glasses with them for years. I always buy two sunglasses every time I go there. If she can't talk with clients over the phone, maybe she doesn't know how to manage a business. She is working at the wrong place.

Frankie allowed us time to try on various pairs that we we were interested in and even gave us a few options that he saw were similar to the styles we seemed to gravitate towards. What I love about the Sunglass Hut is the ability to try on multiple brands, both high end designers and the brand names we've all come to know. I was intent on finding a replacement pair of mittens for our granddaughter, but they didn't have anything in the right color scheme. They were down to dark colors, and she's into pink these days. The staff members were friendly and welcoming on a holiday when they might have preferred being somewhere else. A friend and I chatted with Blinky for about 20 minutes. He broke down and explained a lot about board design. What a treat. He's been doing this so long and he's still stoked and friendly. The rest of the staff were also very friendly. Amazingly a yelper below complained because they don't have enough apparel and bikinis. How ironic is that? There are hardly any real surfboard shops left, since most shop floor rooms are covered with "apparel and bikinis", which carry higher profit margins than surfboards. That person should visit one of Socal's many fine mall surfboard shops and they'll find all the bikinis they need.

When they sold the place we went elsewhere to see if we could get our glasses a little cheaper (our insurance had changed and it was more costly). That was a huge mistake. We went to 2 other places in town and had so much trouble getting our prescriptions right at both of them. Seriously, Amy returned her glasses 2 times at one place and 1 time at another. We then decided to go to B&T and when we came back, we were greeted like old friends and had a great experience. I actually had a problem with my prescription, but was told to come back in for another exam and Dr. Azzam was great and Cheryl took great care of my order and the finer details of fitting the glasses on my big head. Very detailed and extensive exam to find the issue. I then got my new glasses with the updated prescription and they're better than I imagined. Seriously, the best glasses I've had so far. Turns out the amount of money spent at B&T was on par with the money at the other 2 places in town, so lesson learned. I'm writing this to spare you the discomfort of having to learn that lesson too. Go to B&T and you'll be happier for it! We won't be going anywhere else again.

Although we usually have a pleasant shopping experience, this time it was very lackluster. The store wasn't busy at all. There were maybe four or five other people in the store besides us. NOT one person greeted us when we walked into the main area of the store and yet there were THREE employees all behind the counter just socializing with one another. The one time any of the four of us were even acknowledged by an employee was when my husband had merchandise in his hands. We're going to skip this place next time and spend our money supporting other businesses.
