I purchased a pair of sunglasses in November 2025, not long after the frame was cracked on the bottom of the lense and I was surprised since I hadn't dropped them so was not sure why they were cracked, so I took them back to Eyeglass Factory in Ventura where I purchased them to let them know what had happened. Ventura store just told me no they didn't have the same pair and nothing more. Then I went to the one in Camarillo and explained what happened and Angie was so nice and told me it must have been a defect by the way they were cracked and told me it was still under warranty so was so nice and looked around to try to find me the same pair. She finally found some but in a different color in Santa Barbara so they shipped it to Camarillo and I got them within a few days December 20. I went back and picked up the glasses and this morning I woke up and they were cracked in the same exact spot as the last pair so since I got this last pair in Camarillo, I decided to go back to that same store since Angie was so helpful and let them know what had happened. When I went in the girl behind the counter greeted me and as I was telling her what had happened from the beginning she was giving me a look as if my story wasn't true in a way and told me well you only get one warranty and I said well I believe it was a defect and then she called to Angie and Angie tried helping me out looking for another frame that maybe my lense could be put into. This review would have been a 5 star but with the way the first girl behind the counter made me feel and wasn't nice after her greeting I could only give a 3 star. Angie is amazing. read more

So during this covid19 pandemic this place was in compliance with all the necessary precautions given to keep a local business open. I Needed new glasses. Angie, the service representative was the only one working at the time and she was remarkable. She multitasked customer needs as they came in and fullfilled each order with such detail. I not only got one pair but 2 regular and 2 sunglasses. Knowing i was on a budget she took the time to show me ways to make my budget for these 4 pairs. During a time when cost is important due to budget and economy she made this work and satisfied me above and beyond. Thank you to Angie and the Eye Tech who was able to make my glasses with no issues. This Girl definitely needs a raise! Oh, Dr. Kathryn Waters was superb as well. I needed to see to renew my class A drivers license but i' m currently having problems with my eyes and seeing a retina specialist as well. She was able to explain thing in detail and make me feel comfortable with what was all going on with my eye. We came here today when my daughters glasses broke and she needed a new pair right away or she would not be able to see. Eyeglass factory fit the bill with their one hour service which was 56 minutes, i timed them. They had everything there to make it happen. Not to impressed with Eyeglass factory. I live in Camarillo and had been going to LensCrafters in 1000 Oaks but wanted to find a place locally. First I had an exam and the examiner didn't have much of a chair side manner. I didn't get as thorough exam as I got in T.O. Then they wanted to up sell me on lenses and said it would take 2-3 weeks as they would have to send my frames in because I had Oakley's. I can get lenses from LensCrafters in 2-3 days. So I'm going back to LensCrafters! read more

I came up on this place because in the past I used their chain in Ventura. A year later when I went to get my eye exam I learned that the two pair of glasses I received did not have the same prescription. I was very disappointed about this, and will not be returning ever again. I now consider them untrustworthy and dishonest for offering two for one specials on glasses when one prescription was totally different. So they should just offer one pair of quality glasses instead of fooling people into thinking they're getting a deal. I guess the old adage rings true, you get what you pay for. read more

Advertises TRUE one hour service! Not true, Single vision glasses take a week, and they don't tell you until after you pay. Went there because my wife needs glasses by this Thursday (we went yesterday - Monday) One employee onsite in Camarillo, and she stated she is the only one there most of the time. So who makes the glasses? She cannot - she is busy working the counter. Don't be suckered in by this company - they are not what they claim to be. DON'T go here. My husband had a eye examine and bought 2 pairs of glasses . He went back in to get his prescription because he found glasses he wAnts t order from another store . They won't give it to him, his medical records are his and he paid for the examine. It's not over he's not letting them keep records that are his. OK, let's begin with a tag line from their web page that originally brought me here. "Our state of the art glasses laboratories in each store make it possible to provide REAL one-hour service - even on progressive bifocals!" This is a total falsehood and they should be ashamed. I ordered progressives and was told it would be about a week due to the reflective lens coating they encourage. I have MES insurance, they took my card and did not apply the 165.00 discount until my husband realized they made a mistake on his also and had to have both accounts adjusted. We could of been scammed for close to 400.00! I was in there on 3.18.17 and ordered glasses. it will be 2 weeks tomorrow and no glasses yet. I will update my experience after my husband and I receive our glasses. UPDATE: Took over 2 weeks to get graduated bifocals. Never took more than a week at other places. read more

This was the best decision EVER! We walked in and were immediately greeted by Angie with a warm "Hello" and "I can help you", and did she ever. I absolutely love this company and everything for what it stands for. There are not that many companies out there who truly care about their customers and truly want to help them find the best deals as this company does. I have done business with this company four times already and I have been extremely pleased, satisfied, and impressed with this company. I moved to the city of Camarillo since August of 2017 and I recall being referred to Eyeglass because I had broken my glasses and they fixed them for FREE in under ONE hour. The coolest thing was being able to see how they fixed my glasses. I was convinced to do business with them because they have some sort of buy one and get one free sort of special. I went there this past year after two years of having such glasses from them and I was still surprised that they have such a special for their customers, which I feel is not a temporary deal but more so a strategic form of marketing to get customers. I have enjoyed my glasses from them and they are very good about fixing whatever issues I feel it has and they fix it whatever it is right in front of my own eyes. I love this company and I would say the best part are the employees because they from the very beginning make you feel so welcome and are so hospitable. I personally really enjoyed being assisted by Jazlyn for she was very patient and thoroughly explained any sort of question or concern that I had. I have had the opportunity to come here multiple times and Jazyln has always been extremely helpful, so I highly recommend any of you to go to her for she is very good about wanting to help you make the best choice for yourself. By the way, this company has an Ophthalmologist, literally right next to their business and if you do your Eye-Exam there then you get a discount from Eyeglass. I love everything about Eyeglass for I legit saw in my receipt all the sorts of discounts and savings I did from doing business with them and remember all you need to do is buy one and you get the other for free so as long as it is the same price or under than what you spent. So, I actually bought sunglasses and got my personal glasses for free and everything was very inexpensive. This company really goes out of their way to help you and make you feel welcome, so I highly recommend and if you ever happen to visit whenever Jazlyn is there then I highly recommend you to go to her for she is very knowledgeable and helpful as she has left me with a good impression of what this company is all about. p.s, the only inconvenience is that that this company does not accept any form of Eye insurances but Jazyln literally helped me by providing me with the proper resources to contact my insurance and receive a reimbursement from them for whatever amount they would have spent had this company accepted insurance. It may seem like a hassle but Eyeglass will walk you through it and give you the necessary documentation to make sure your Eye insurance gives you whatever amount they would have covered but please note that this process may take a week or two but nevertheless you will already save a ton before this reimbursement check arrives. This was my first time walking into an eyeglass store and didn't know where to start. Angie greeted me and helped me out. I didn't know that picking out frames would be so hard lol took me about 25 min to finally pick out my 2 frames for the BOGO. Angie was patient and waited till I was ready. Had to order my anti-glare lenses but my other pair was done in 2 hours. But there was a problem, the prescription my optometrist prescribed me was only 3 months ago and it seemed that my vision has changed. I went to see my optometrist the next day, got a new prescription and went back to eyeglass factory. Angie was there and helped me out again to change out my lenses. She's awesome! This location is not good. They must have nearsighted technicians that create the lenses in your glasses. Got 2 pair, since they have that BS program that you need to get 2 pair for a 'better deal' Well we got 2 pair. my wife and myself. One pair is okay but the other pair not good. Again, the person that created it must have needed glasses, as he was way off, so the second pair is useless. Do yourself a favor and either buy one pair, or just avoid this location. I have been needing to get glasses for my son and so I called to see if they were open and a young lady answered was very friendly that they were open. I decided to go I . She was very polite and helpful, my son tried out so many glasses and she helped me find the perfect match for him. She was so polite I was so shocked by the friendliness of the girl because due to COVID they do let you try on glasses which is amazing!! Wow! This store has the best customer service in town! Steven helped me navigate through the maze of their large selection of glasses. First they have a lot of great styles so it was time consuming trying to narrow down the styles. I also needed two pairs, one for driving and one for computer work. Steven was very helpful and patient with me on the glasses I was trying on. He made some good points on why one style worked over another style, and even though the store was closing he did not rush me out the door, he continued to help me until I found the right glasses. I'd like to thank Eyeglass Factory. Not only did they have great customer service and great deals (2 for 1 glasses). I didn't get a second pair of free frames because I brought my own. They were my grandmother's frames. Long story short they were an inside joke and mean a lot to me. I had been to every eyeglass place in town to get my prescription in them. No one would do it, they claimed they were too old and brittle. I would say they were doing me no good just sitting in my room, still no one would change the lenses for me. The ladies at the Eyeglass Factory, when they heard the story simply said that they'd do it as long as I agree to not hold them liable if they broke. So amazing service, a willingness to help out when others can't and my glasses, both pairs, I did get regular eye glasses that plenty of people compliment me on in one or two days! You can't beat it! Bogo sounded like a great deal. How $79 frames, bogo ended up being over $500? The girl wasn't too thrilled with me as all the things she added to bump up the price got removed, $300 worth of additions. They get you on the added items. All the options are over inflated in price. And the 1 hr that they advertise? Its a NOGO if you have an astigmatism, how about up to 2 wks depending on the lenses you pick. I was going to give 3 stars but the girl had the nerve to complain about me removing all the extras to another girl within earshot. Their designer section is extremely limited & if money isn't an issue for you, best to go elsewhere. LensCrafters has a much better designer section. read more

I had my own frames l order new lenses they were lighter then the frames l use. They ground the lenses for two pair one for inside and one for out side. When l received them I had trouble reading with them I took them they found they were ground wrong they reground again I could not read with the new lenses yet l could better with my old one. I was told they could not do any better l could not get my $600. back I now I can not use the two new pair I put them in a case until l can get another company to make new lenses I am out $ 600. read more

After wearing glasses for 50 years, I can tell you this is a place to AVOID. 17 trips to the store to get the glasses right, and one pair is still wrong. After two years, the anti-scratch coating on a second set of house glasses clouded up -- a translucent white fog, So, I returned to the store. Yup, the anti scratch coating is failing, I'm told, "nothing we can do about it, you need to buy new glasses. Sure, I going to spend another $300 on poor quality glasses just to told by a disinterested employee "sorry about that." And the equally apathetic manager confirmed. Went back to my 12 year old Sears glasses that are still perfect. Should be a clue when a store offers buy one--get one free, that you are being charged a lot more than the value of the glasses. Spent a $1000 here and 2 of three glasses are unusable -- what a bargain. Find somewhere else - this is a waste of time for poor quality, horrible attitudes and no value. read more
