They won't help you when you call the customer service number. Additionally, your receipt will mean nothing. It's worthless. Buy your glasses from Amazon or another online retailer. I had seen the discount at Macy's and asked if they honored the same and they did. They applied a Mother's Day discount and I was on my way. A couple weeks later, I visited the Barton Creek Mall location with my husband because the glasses I picked out for him were not the right ones. When it was time to swap them out, the new sunglasses were less expensive than the original ones I bought so I expected a refund and that's what the store rep confirmed as well. Well, when it was time to pay, the employee said it was going to cost $40 more for the cheaper sunglasses because he could no longer apply the Mother's Day discount. Even the manager could not help me. I bought the original sunglasses on Mother's Day with the discount but with the exchange, there was nothing they could do. How ridiculous is that? It does not make sense. It's a money grab. I paid over $250 for sunglasses but they could not honor the discount originally provided? Do better, Sunglasses Hut. Disappointed is an understatement.

My son went to west lake all his life so we lived in west lake for many years. I understand that the prices will be higher because you're in a rich area but even though I return back to this area to purchase some good shoes for my son, The prices are ridiculous. I don't understand why these prices are so over the top. They are not Neiman Marcus for sure they carry brands that we 've been buying for many years with no change until the last 7 years. So being disappointed in the product not quality. If you really look at some of the items they have here they're not quality items yeah I'm not kidding! So even when my son was in grade school throughout high school I've never seen prices shoot through the roof like crazy. Insanely high, ouch. Really, so disappointed since my last review in 2017! Luckily I found the same type of shoe online for at least $35 less. I know Taylor's think they're Neiman Marcus I'm sorry to say you're not! Yes folks,it's pure greed! Also what really bugs me is their aisles are so compacted that people in wheelchairs are not able to get through that bugged me really did! Sadly because of the outrageous pricing and the lack of customer service I will not be coming back, I will not enjoy my trip back to Westlake!

Super easy to make appointments online, I do wish they have an automated text message reminder…read morethough because I honestly forgot about it. No big deal though, they didn't think much of it and you can reschedule on the phone/online. Clean and organized offices, relatively short wait time (less than 10 mins after check-in), and I feel like everyone who works there genuinely enjoys their job. It feels a bit of a manufacturing line - you get seen by an assistant first to go over a bunch of standard questions, a quick eye scan (there is one x-ray that costs an extra $39 which kind of is glossed over but optional). Then the optometrist comes in and reviews the x-ray and does the more thorough eye exam. As for the brands they carry in-store: Oliver Peoples, Ray-Ban, Maui Jim, Chanel, Tom Ford, Prada, Gucci, Paul Smith, Catch London, Oakley, Via Spiga, MaxMara, and their own line. Trying on a pair of frames with the numbers on file is also relatively quick, but I also felt like when they itemize the cost, it's all chicken scratch. They literally look up numbers in a binder, and then scribble out the lens cost, material, anti-scratch, anti-glare, transitional, etc on your print-out. In this day and age, I think a template on the computer screen shouldn't be too hard to look at together?

I really wanted to have a better experience here, but unfortunately, it turned into a long and…read morefrustrating process that never resulted in a proper outcome. I initially came in for an eye exam in August 2025 and had no issues getting my contact lens prescription, which I use daily. However, when my allergies flared up later in the year, I reached out to get my glasses prescription so I could switch over. That's where things started to go wrong. The prescription I received included a pupillary distance (PD) that was not actually measured--it appeared to be defaulted. At the time, I didn't know this, so I used the prescription to order glasses online. When they arrived, I couldn't see out of them at all. When I went back in, the PD issue was acknowledged as a likely cause, but I was also told the prescription itself was "accurate," which was confusing given the incorrect measurement. To their credit, they remade the lenses for two pairs of glasses, and I also purchased a third pair in-store using my insurance. Unfortunately, even with updated PD measurements, none of the glasses worked. My vision felt completely distorted--like looking through a funhouse mirror--and it was honestly not safe to drive. I returned multiple times for adjustments, including changes to the prescription, but nothing resolved the issue. I was repeatedly told to "give it time," even though the problem clearly wasn't minor adjustment discomfort. On top of that, communication and wait times became another issue. During one visit, I waited about 45 minutes without any update, only to find out staff was tied up and short-handed. That should have been communicated upfront. I will say that Kevin and Ashley were kind, empathetic, and genuinely tried to help throughout the process. I appreciate their efforts. However, the overall experience still fell short. What was most disappointing was the response when I called to ask what could be done about the money I had spent on lenses that still didn't work. I was told it might be best to "put a stop" to further adjustments since they had already paid out of pocket--despite the fact that these issues were not caused by me. That response felt dismissive and unprofessional given the situation. I ultimately sought a second opinion elsewhere and immediately experienced a higher level of care, attention to detail, and accuracy. I think the biggest takeaway is this: when it comes to vision, precision and thoroughness are critical. Measurements like PD should always be properly taken, and when something clearly isn't working, patients should feel supported--not dismissed.
