(Hardly prime time). There was no insulated container used by the delivery driver - just the box - so, thusly, the pizza wasn't hot - just slightly warm. The pizza is super dense and heavy. They give you garlic (caesar?) dipping sauce - as the crust is so dense and hard! The bacon was dropped in the centre 8" of the pizza - looked ridiculous Horrible pizza! 1/5 stars!!

The website didn't…read moreseem to be the place to order as we needed to add and leave off a few ingredients so I called. It took over 7 minutes on the phone to order.... One pizza was a standard pizza asking for one item to be left off. That caused confusion. The other two were just build your own. I would say the topping and then a completely different topping would be said by the person on the phone. I finally thought it was straight and even had them read all the orders back to me. And I added all on sesame seed crusts which is an extra charge. What could go wrong? Well the standard pizza where I asked for one topping to be left off was a fail. They still put it on. Good thing it wasn't an allergy. The other two pizzas I think they got right. However the sesame seed crusts? Non existent then I noticed sesame seeds had been sprinkled all over the top of all the pizzas. What ? So weird. Finally like last time we arrived on time for pick up and like others have said the pizza was almost cold- And I didn't see the itemized bill but it seemed to be about $15 more than I had planned. Well back on the hunt for a pizza place

However, despite my love for cheese, it felt like too much. I'm a fan of stuffed crust so that was a plus but because of the enormous amount of cheese already on top of the pizza, it didn't pair well. I also think the overall pizza dough was a bit lacking. Kind of soggy and chewy. The item that I would really recommend is the corn dog!! Interesting that a pizza place would offer corn dogs but they did it beautifully. Crispy exterior rolled in sugar which complimented the salty inside super well.

By the way, I have had pizzas in New York's Little Italy and in Italy. Hearthstone know what they are doing. For what they offer, price, freshness, taste, texture, and the ability for you to create you own with unlimited toppings, I cannot see any challengers. Super recommended.

We got the JIM'S SUPER SPECIAL (Pepperoni, Salami, Ham, Onions, Mushrooms, Green Peppers), a cheese, DINA'S SPECIAL (Spinach, Feta Cheese, Onions, Green Peppers). The amount of topping on these pizzas, including the amount of cheese, is outrageous! We anticipated that folks (especially the guys) would easily crush 2 slices easily! Nope. We had 1 each! Barely! These pizza are sauced perfect! It was very flavourful! The crust was a meal in itself and the sauce went as far as it could go and was THICK! The 3 pizzas weighed at least 10lbs and were so delicious. You must try this place! They also have pasta, salads, and other delicious options!

BEST PIZZA IN THE TOWN!!…read more The pizza was fresh, cheesy, and full of flavor. The crust had the perfect balance of crispy and soft, and the toppings were generous. Staff were friendly, service was quick, and the place was clean and welcoming. Definitely one of the best pizza spots I've tried. I'll be coming back!

No one wants to have toppings on their pizza that they didn't order…read more We have ordered pizza here multiple times. The pizza cost a little more than average but it tastes good. The problem I've had with this restaurant is that I've ordered pizza from here multiple times that was half vegetarian and meat was baked inside the vegetarian slices. When I bit into the unexpected pepperoni I immediately spit it out. Disappointing! If this only happened one time I could overlook it but it's happened multiple times. Which is sloppy cooking. Both times the meat was hidden under the cheese so you can't even see it. It is almost as if the restaurant workers likes to prank vegetarians or are just careless with the toppings. I've eaten pizza from so many places I can't even count and this is not a problem I run into often.

OK tasting pizza, ordered the Deluxe for take out. What I…read moredidn't like was that the toppings were thin including the cheese Crust was just OK nothing special as far as taste goes, at least it wasn't soggy We added are own mozzarella cheese on top and reheated it which brought the favour where it should be for a 34 $ price point take out. Wont be returning to this place due to this . I think they are trying to sell and promote their pizzas from the fact they are fire roasted , but hey if the toppings aren't there, you still end up with a bland tasting pizza and disappointment.

Vesuvio, another name for Vesuvius, Mount Vesuvius…read more Interesting name for a pizzeria. I will enquire next time I visit the meaning of it. Ladies and gentlemen, this is best pizza to day I had outside of Italy. As part of the extended birthday celebration, my anti-carb partner indulged me to choose. Of course pizza, but which one? Vesuvio is a relatively unknown hidden pizza joint among sea of pizza franchises like Panago, Pizza Hut, Dominos, Little Caesar's within the 2 km radius. The flow of foot traffic at Vesuvio is steady where other eateries in the strip mall are asleep in this covid ridden time. We had the #7 carne (prosciutto and pepperoni). Let me tell you, the thickness of the crust was perfect. It's edge was thin. The sauce and cheese were in perfect balance. After four slices, and half a pizza later, I was looking for more. Great service and great price. Definitely worth it. Will be back

Oh man this place is good! I finally cracked and got a third party delivery app because my desire…read moreto try this pizza was verging on completely consumption. The only disappointment was that I sat on my moral high ground instead of just giving into my wanton desire. So far I have eaten two of their pies; Pesto Chicken (self-explanatory ingredients) and the Little Italy (classic Pepperoni). The quality and freshness of the ingredients is visual, for example the Chicken was sliced thick, easy to tell it was from a single breast piece. When you put that sort of care on their over the top good thin crust, you have a perfect combination. The Little Italy was all flavour and not greasy, so satisfying. Next time I order, pretty sure I'm going to try something with less traditional ingredients, which normally is a crap shoot, but I have faith Vesuvio can pull it off....maybe their Bianca (Zucchini, Spinach, Corn, Sun Dried Tomato and Bleu Cheese) or Quatro (Ham, Shrimp, WTF Crab!, Mushroom). Price point is beyond affordable, third party delivery was fast and efficient. Vesuvio is literally a 12/10, now my go to pizza place, 100% recommend.
