The owner, Nick, is super friendly and generous. It is no surprise that they always have plenty of business. The pizza is authentic new york style and delicious. Just make sure you have cash -- if not, they will point you the closest ATM a short walk up the road. I would return here often if I lived in the area. read more

Very good pizza! We like the thin crust but have had both and really enjoyed them. Pizza here is definitely a cut above your run of the mill pizza joints, highly recommended! read more

Amazing pizza and salads, very well priced (inexpensive compared to California / Bay Area prices), and super friendly owner and staff. My family who lives nearby had never heard of this establishment - this will be their new pizza place! read more

Okay, I think I have to agree with many of the reviews. This has got to be the best pizza in town. This is a passionate crew with quality ingredients creating some of the most authentic Italian pizzas I've had outside of Italy. The dough is so delicious. It has a bit of a sourdoughy twang to it -- evidence of a nice long rise. It is cooked in their wood oven high and quick, and gets wonderful classic charred bits, while maintaining a wonderful fluffy chew. Just perfect. The toppings are also great quality. Simple but top notch. Delicious sauce, not overly sweet or overly seasoned. The pepperoni they use harkens back to a quality pizza diavola you would find in a good restaurant in Rome or northern Italy. It has just the right amount of spice to be a crowd favorite. The plain pepperoni pizza is great, but their "Artista" house pizza is an amazing combination of the pepperoni, ricotta and spicy sausage meat that amps the spice and succulence to greater heights. I believe their sausage meat is their own house craft. I saw them pull a tray of the beautifully blended mix out on a tray and dollop it on the pizza. It's just fantastic. Also great is their Napoli pizza -- a very simple pie almost like a margherita but instead of sauce they use cherry tomatoes, and they add a wallop of garlic to it as well. So simple, so light, so perfect. While waiting for my pizzas to come out I had a very nice conversation with Nick -- the friendly chatty owner, and some locals who travel rather far to get this pizza regularly. Nick has a clear vision for this place and it shows in the way he talks so positively about his business, his chef, and his product. Artista is a bit of a drive away from home but the pizzas held up well. Nick mentioned that if necessary a few minutes back in the oven at 350F would bring it back to life. It wasn't necessary. Our family enjoyed it thoroughly. read more

Friendly quaint and the best pizza ever! Nick is friendly and fun and it's best to take cash. The homemade sausage!!!!! Don't miss it! read more

Terrific pizza! Hot, fast, and delicious! Best of all the pizza was well priced and affordable, so I will order again! Thank you!

Finally tried this wood forno oven pizza and they're really good. The staff are very friendly, they're providing complimentary homemade blueberry cheesecake or Nuttela cookie while waiting for your pizza. Eat-in space is very limited so it's not good for a big group. I highly recommended to try. read more

AMAZING. My boyfriend celebrated his birthday on February 12, he decided he wanted pizza! We typically go for pizza chain delivery but it has been disguising the last few times. I wanted pizza that was authentic and cooked in a wood fire oven. I found Artista Pizza. When we arrived, I almost thought they didn't have space for us but the owner, Nick, quickly moved everything around and seated my little family. We had our 4 month old son, Theodore, with us. From the get go Nick was extremely kind, and we felt a good vibe! We started by ordering the Caprese salad which did not disappoint. Beautiful fresh arugula, fresh mozzarella, cherry tomatoes and a balsamic reduction. We probably finished that salad in 2 minutes flat! It was delicious. After our salad we then went with the 18" Margherita pizza. SO good! And huge! So nice to have a pizza that feeds both our huge appetites :-) While we were eating our pizza, the owner Nick graciously offered to hold our son. He walked around with Teddy and allowed us to eat in peace. It was so sweet and so appreciated! Once the pizza was devoured Nick handed us some beautiful oven freshly baked Nutella cookies with sugar sprinkled on top. To this day I still dream of these!! Absolutely delicious. The whole experience was pleasant, the food was out of this world (and I'm a well traveled foodie) We are looking for any excuse to return to enjoy another pizza. Officially our NEW and ONLY pizza place for date night or any occasion :-) read more

Friendly staff! Great pizza. I recommend giving it a try! This pizza is great if your hosting a friends get together !! Great choice

Really good pizza joint. Not really a place for sit down, as it's small. The pizza itself is very delicious. Maybe on the steeper side but I guess most prices are around this nowadays. It's a family run business and the owners are very friendly. Definitely a place I will treat myself and my family to every once in a while. read more

Real neapolitan-style pizza, and you don't have to go to Vancouver to get it... what more can I say. They don't have much seating so you might want to take it to go. Heck, take it over to Foamers Folly Brewery , and have a couple pints and eat your pizza, it's only about a block-and-a-half away. The owner is a great guy, ask him to make it Italian style, and they will crisp it up a bit more. I strongly recommend the garlic shrimp Pizza , absolutely amazing. read more

This pizza place is PHENOMENAL! Such a large pizza for a great price. It felt like we were back in Italy again. Artista Pizza - Arugula pizza - Pizza Near Me - Pitt Meadows, British Columbia

First time customer: I was so skeptical of any restaurant that has a solid 5-stars, so decided to roll the dice on Artista and really glad I did. Ordered Hawaii Five Uno & Arugula Plus this evening and it was worth the drive over the Golden Ears bridge! Aside from the high quality of the pizza and great ingredients, the owners of Artista Pizza are really good peoples. As the owner told me today, "We try to be simple and do what we do very well", he wasn't lying. This is a place I would absolutely recommend to friends and will definitely be visiting again in the near future. read more

The single most important aspect of pizza is the crust, and this place gets the crust right. Couple of issue that make me give this place 4 stars and not 5: 1- The place often smells like bleach. It doesn't make for a good experience sitting down and enjoying the great pizza. 2- The proprietor, who I'm sure is a wonderful guy, tends to be a little bit too forward and clingy. It makes patrons a little bit uncomfortable. I enjoy the pizza at this place and often order for pick up. I'd change this review to 5 stars once the issues I mentioned are addressed. By the way, try the CCB. It's really good. read more

Amazing! My favourite pizza place. Love their honey talks pizza. Highly recommended!!

This place is great! Tucked away on a side street with ample parking around, this place makes superb pizzas! It all starts with how they cook it- it's incredibly hard to find a wood burning forno oven nowadays but they have one and it makes all the difference! Portion sizes are great and the staff are always friendly and courteous. There is a lack of ambience when you're there but honestly, the pizza is so good I don't worry about what's on the walls. Highly recommend this pizza joint. Always a pleasure to go there. read more

This place in Pitt Meadows is a hidden gem. Right behind the Jolly Coachman, it's a hole in the wall place that makes amazing pizza. I've been there several times and never left disappointed. The wood oven makes the crust into a perfect texture. Not too dry and crunchy, but not overly doughy. Staff are super friendly and the owner who is usually working there is clearly passionate about his product. I recommend the C.C.B pizza! Artista Pizza - Pizza Near Me - Pitt Meadows, British Columbia

I mistakenly thought this was more of a "fine-dining" sit-down pizzeria and had my friend meet me there for dinner after seeing reviews on Yelp. I was a little confused when I opened the door and saw that it wasn't what I was expecting but we stayed anyway. Great decision. The pizza was delicious. We shared a Caesar salad and two pizzas which was more than enough and happily took the leftovers home. Great pizza and great service (I think by Nick?---such a kind man). 100% recommend this pizza! read more

Artista Pizza - Pizza Near Me - Pitt Meadows, British Columbia

The hidden gem of Pitt Meadows. I was in the area for work and needed to feed a small crowd. Wanting to make sure it wasn't just any pizza, I found Artista Pizza on Google and the reviews did not disappoint. Their website indicated that they are open at 11 and I needed the pizza to be ready by 12 to bring to lunch. The owner was in there prepping well before 11 when I arrived and had the door open. I took the chance to wait for him and it was the best decision. He puts so much care and love into the pizza he makes. His Hawaiian deluxe pizza with caramelized onions is perfection. Amazing pizza and even better customer service. Will definitely be coming back and recommending. read more

Fantastic pizza. The owner is very welcoming and exudes pride and had a breadth of knowledge in his food, and definitely evident in his varied pizza choices. I'm a fan of the fig+prosciutto combo and was thrilled to see their take on this. Even their willingness to drizzle a little honey on it was awesome. Excitedly I await our next visit, in which I look forward to sampling their NY style and/or Napoli offering. read more

We randomly found this place while visiting for an event. We are so glad we did!! Nick (the owner) was so friendly to us. He genuinely expressed interest in us and the purpose of our visit. Also the pizza was so yummy. We had the CCB (Cranberry+Cranberry + Brie) pizza which was SO delicious. It's a pizza only made there. The place itself is small so many people ordered to go. Luckily it was warm outside so it was perfect for our group of 5 to sit outside. Overall, this place has very friendly staff and VERY delicious artisan pizza. read more
