Andiamo's Pizza & Pasta House in Maple Ridge - 20726 Lougheed Hwy…read more We tried the Meat Good and Butter Chicken pizzas, and OMG - hands down the BEST Butter Chicken pizza in Maple Ridge! Real, HUGE chunks of chicken, perfect-sized tomatoes and onions, and that buttery sauce? I'm wondering if they went next door to GM for those top-notch ingredients! We've had other Butter Chicken pizzas in town, but none even come close. The Meat Good pizza was loaded with layered meat but wasn't soggy at all - you know how some meat pizzas can get? The cheese on both? Absolute perfection! I saw they only have a 3.8 rating online and honestly, why?? Must be from the previous ownership because this place is a gem. The owners/family were so friendly too! We live across town in Yennadon, and I passed at least 6 pizza spots to get to Andiamo's - and guess what? I'll keep doing it! Seriously, check out these photos! Give them a try - you won't be disappointed!

I do not say such things lightly, as I spent many years in the business myself, and judge others work against my own. The owner/manager/chef is real people and cares about his customers, which is increasingly hard to find these days. I highly recommend this place to anyone who enjoys this kind of food!

However, despite my love for cheese, it felt like too much. I'm a fan of stuffed crust so that was a plus but because of the enormous amount of cheese already on top of the pizza, it didn't pair well. I also think the overall pizza dough was a bit lacking. Kind of soggy and chewy. The item that I would really recommend is the corn dog!! Interesting that a pizza place would offer corn dogs but they did it beautifully. Crispy exterior rolled in sugar which complimented the salty inside super well.

By the way, I have had pizzas in New York's Little Italy and in Italy. Hearthstone know what they are doing. For what they offer, price, freshness, taste, texture, and the ability for you to create you own with unlimited toppings, I cannot see any challengers. Super recommended.

Vesuvio, another name for Vesuvius, Mount Vesuvius…read more Interesting name for a pizzeria. I will enquire next time I visit the meaning of it. Ladies and gentlemen, this is best pizza to day I had outside of Italy. As part of the extended birthday celebration, my anti-carb partner indulged me to choose. Of course pizza, but which one? Vesuvio is a relatively unknown hidden pizza joint among sea of pizza franchises like Panago, Pizza Hut, Dominos, Little Caesar's within the 2 km radius. The flow of foot traffic at Vesuvio is steady where other eateries in the strip mall are asleep in this covid ridden time. We had the #7 carne (prosciutto and pepperoni). Let me tell you, the thickness of the crust was perfect. It's edge was thin. The sauce and cheese were in perfect balance. After four slices, and half a pizza later, I was looking for more. Great service and great price. Definitely worth it. Will be back

Oh man this place is good! I finally cracked and got a third party delivery app because my desire…read moreto try this pizza was verging on completely consumption. The only disappointment was that I sat on my moral high ground instead of just giving into my wanton desire. So far I have eaten two of their pies; Pesto Chicken (self-explanatory ingredients) and the Little Italy (classic Pepperoni). The quality and freshness of the ingredients is visual, for example the Chicken was sliced thick, easy to tell it was from a single breast piece. When you put that sort of care on their over the top good thin crust, you have a perfect combination. The Little Italy was all flavour and not greasy, so satisfying. Next time I order, pretty sure I'm going to try something with less traditional ingredients, which normally is a crap shoot, but I have faith Vesuvio can pull it off....maybe their Bianca (Zucchini, Spinach, Corn, Sun Dried Tomato and Bleu Cheese) or Quatro (Ham, Shrimp, WTF Crab!, Mushroom). Price point is beyond affordable, third party delivery was fast and efficient. Vesuvio is literally a 12/10, now my go to pizza place, 100% recommend.

Naturally, I wanted to get her something, and of course it had to be sweets. An hour before her cake delivery the bakery basically said it wasn't coming. I ordered an assortment of all of their desserts and asked if they could write happy birthday on the box. They went above and beyond printed out a happy birthday sign for me. You guys are the real deal and I can't wait to come and try the pizza when I visit Vancouver. Also, shout out to the delivery driver he made it on time which seemed impossible.

(Hardly prime time). There was no insulated container used by the delivery driver - just the box - so, thusly, the pizza wasn't hot - just slightly warm. The pizza is super dense and heavy. They give you garlic (caesar?) dipping sauce - as the crust is so dense and hard! The bacon was dropped in the centre 8" of the pizza - looked ridiculous Horrible pizza! 1/5 stars!!

One pizza was a standard pizza asking for one item to be left off. That caused confusion. The other two were just build your own. I would say the topping and then a completely different topping would be said by the person on the phone. I finally thought it was straight and even had them read all the orders back to me. And I added all on sesame seed crusts which is an extra charge. What could go wrong? Well the standard pizza where I asked for one topping to be left off was a fail. They still put it on. Good thing it wasn't an allergy. The other two pizzas I think they got right. However the sesame seed crusts? Non existent then I noticed sesame seeds had been sprinkled all over the top of all the pizzas. What ? So weird. Finally like last time we arrived on time for pick up and like others have said the pizza was almost cold- And I didn't see the itemized bill but it seemed to be about $15 more than I had planned.
