An embarrassment for the name Ricardo. The pepperoni and bacon pizza I bought had no bacon on it; just strips of bacon fat. The pizza sauce was absolutely not a gourmet sauce, it was plane. One of the worst frozen pizza I ever bought. This was the first time in my life where I threw away the left overs. Very expensive, very disappointing. How in the world Ricardo sold his name for such a low grade pizza. Does he really needs money that bad? I am convinced he doesn't eat foods with his name on them. read more

We faithfully order from Riccardos pizza and have for years. I decided today to order a pizza I have never ordered before. I ordered the Perogy pizza. I have to say it's nasty. I found the pizza slimy so much so it was hard to pick up because all the toppings slid off. The crust as always was amazing. My husband had his favorite and was as pleased as always with his pepperoni deluxe. Unfortunately my dinner ended up being a bowl of cereal. I highly recommend Riccardos but stay clear of the perogy pizza. read more

Got the personal baked spaghetti (10.95) with 3 veggies. I got potato, roasted garlic and what was supposed to be fried onions, but it ended up being just regular onions (which I'm fine with, but it would have been nice to got what I ordered). This Richardo's Pizza, A very good example of a very bad pizza place. I have never left a negative review in my life and I do realize that this is not a Michelin starred pizza place, but dear me, I also think that you can expect some sort of standard when you go out and like to eat. Unfortunately, the standard at this place was very poor. Where do I start? Having entered the restaurant, we had to wait for several minutes to be greeted The "menu cards" very ABSOLUTELY disgusting, covered in oil and all sorts of dirt with the foil almost peeling away from the paper. We ordered our pizza, and soon enough the 'over-enthusiastic' "service" came back, nearly ready sit down on my lap AND I AM NOT JOKING! I never complain, because I used to work as a waiter myself, so I know what it's like sometimes, but for god's sake if you charge people, and quite a bit of money(!), you must give something back. The whole thing was like a cheap fast-food or pizza place focused on quantity rather than quality. I'm afraid, I will never go there again !!! It was terrible!!! Don't be fooled, this place has nothing to do with Italian Pizza, besides and the service very poor as well. KFC in Bell. would have been a better choice! read more

Ordered the lasagne and ceasar salad. Lasagne was a little dry but tasted wonderful the caesar salad consisted of a container of mostly fresh lettuce a package of croutons and a package of Ranch? dressing. Not exactly the salad that i was expecting for 10 dollars. read more

Pizza delivery time was supposed to be between 30 to 40 mins. waited 1hr 15 mins and no pizza!! called them and was told it got really busy. No apologies. Did not even try to smooth things over. Could not get money back because ordered online and already paid. The pizza arrived 1hr 40 minutes after ordering. It was cold and did not have the flavours of buffalo chicken or barbecue chicken. It all tasted the same! Expensive, tasteless and very dissappointing. No dipping sauce either. Never will order from this place again. Don't bother with them and go somewhere else where pizza is good and timely, price is fair and customer service will definitely be better than here. I did a bit of hunting for a good pizza place that was reasonably priced. Ricardo's seemed like a good compromise between quality and price. They have a good selection of specialty pizzas - with plenty of distinct flavor combos and profiles. The pizza was ready in 15 minutes (Great!). These are the upsides. The downside, is that the food isn't as good as I had hoped. Maybe it was my own expectations to blame, but I did fast all day so I could chow down. They only opened at 4pm... it didn't matter if it was Superbowl Sunday. I ordered the Perogy pizza with wings to share. The pizza was ok. Not terrible by any means, but not great either. What they call farmers sausage, I call ham. I grew up in a Mennonite area, and this is not the farmers sausage I know and love. The wings were pretty soggy and lacked sauce. We live in an age of cheap Convection ovens. There's just no excuse for bad wings anymore. If anyone from Ricardo's is reading this, it would be nice to get one complimentary dipping sauce for the dry crust. Maybe it was just an off day? Edit: Apparently they do give free dipping sauces, but just jipped on mine. read more

Ricardo's is awesome. Always friendly and helpful staff. They're really efficient and knowledgeable when you're ordering. I just placed an order and they didn't have to ask me a ton of questions because their system recognized the number I was calling from so that was sweet. And the pizza is tasty and well priced. About an hour ago today I was cut off by a speeding delivery person in a playground zone on George Ferguson and Old Yale. I went immediately to make a complaint to the business. The cashier listened patiently and said he would tell the manager. He didn't seem like he would tell so I talked to the manager myself whom told me that they "take this stuff very seriously" and that he "would talk to him about it". Meanwhile the driver was leaving for another delivery and he didn't stop him to talk about it. The driver was SPEEDING AGAIN! On top of the fact that I basically got ignored everyone working their was super slow and "busy" despite their being no one waiting for pizza. It seemed like their was only one order at the time. I hope the driver gets fired and hopefully he won't put anyone in danger. read more

First time I have ever ordered from them (although I have been in Abby for 20 years) . I got there special 1 lard pizza, wings, 2l pop, and a cinnamon desert. The pizza was great, it was the tropical special. Wings where good, wasn't a fan of the cinnamon thing, and delivery was fast. All and All a good experience. My only suggestion is Check there specials page before ordering! otherwise you will pay a lot more. read more

This is my favorite pizza place because they have the best gluten-free pizza but everytime I order there is always something wrong with the pizza. I have even asked the person on the phone to read back the order every time and nine out of 10 times the pizza comes with something I requested not to be on it or it comes without something I asked for on it and this time I ordered without any dairy and with goat cheese only and I still got a pizza with cheddar cheese on it and all they could give me was a replacement pizza and I'd have to wait over a half an hour to get it and the girl gave me attitude on the phone as if it was my fault even though I asked the person when I ordered to repeat back to me what I had ordered. If you like burnt and doughy thin crust you will love ricardos! I rarely get pizza with my wife being celiac but she was away so the guys and I ordered up 3 pies. Crust was super doughy with no flavour, scarce topping and cold cheese with burnt edges and burnt feta. I was bummed I had pictured hot gooey cheese with fresh topping and a crispy soft crust. Tomato sauce was also very sweet compared to others. Did not satisfy any of my cravings, will not order from here again. read more

We recently moved to Abbotsford and are on the hunt for our "go to" pizza place. Ordered this last night. It was one of the worst pizza we have ever eaten. Toppings soggy on the taco and dry on the other one. Expensive too for how bad it it was. Far far stretch from the number one pizza place around , Monte Carlo in Langley. I am disappointed that Ricardos does not ever think about including their gluten free pizzas into their specials for us Celiacs as this type is very expensive for the size you get! Maybe you would increase your customer base if you did have specials for GF pizza, a great way to bring back customers that may not order very often. read more

As for food - generally okay as best I recall. I don't order from them anymore; haven't in several years now. The last time I did they were supposed to deliver in 20-30 minutes and it was almost 90 minutes by the time they arrived. The pizza was cold; had to microwave it. Also, was the wrong size. Right pizza, but wrong size. I ordered large, they brought a medium - in a large box. To be sure I measured the diameter of the pizza with a ruler. I think they made the wrong size pizza then realized it and waited to see if someone would call in for that pizza in medium at which point they'd have made a large for me and all would be right. When it didn't happen they tossed it into a large box and delivered it to me. The next day I went in to report it and they accused me of trying to scam them for a free pizza - which I was not. I wanted to bring it to their attention - and maybe a $5 credit would have been nice since I paid for a large but got a medium. They didn't care or do anything; said there was nothing they can do about it. It's the lack of customer service, and that one lousy pizza experience, that cost them me as a customer. read more
