The steak was PERFECTLY cooked medium, baked potatoes, veg and all the fixings which I missed in pic as we dove right in. Always eat the baked spaghetti which is old school bolognese - so yummy! Also tried the mushrooms Neptune - cheesy mushroom and crab goodness. On top of it the service is consistently excellent - even when taking out. The staff on the phone were great and took my delivery order quickly. The delivery driver was polite and very appreciative of his tip. The steak was actually amazing considering I was eating on a cheap office desk in my hotel room with plastic cutlery. The lasagna was really good. Perfectly baked cheese and a tasty meat sauce. Then the Caesar Salad. It wasn't the greatest I ever had but not the worst either. The entire reason I gave 1 star was the fact that I almost swallowed a staple. It could of got stuck in my throat or stabbed into my mouth or tongue so needless to say it ruined the whole experience for me. Here's a tip. One of my favourite Date night locations in Abbotsford. My wife and I always try to visit Ocean Park at least once when we visit the Abbotsford area. Ocean Park Pizza is what I would say an Italian Restaurant that features Pizza and seafood. The lighting is usually dim to create a "Romantic" feel. The waitresses are usually very friendly and helpful when it comes to ordering. There are over 20 types of toppings to put on your pizza as the name suggests they have quite a few seafood toppings available. My wife and I usually get pepperoni and bacon with some type of other dish. The prices are on par with "Gourmet" pizza places meaning it's not too cheap but not too expensive. They have a wide variety of drinks both non alcoholic and Alcoholic. The last time we visited they waitress suggested a bacon and potato soup which was pretty amazing! The soup was full of flavour and I would recommend it to anyone. You can either walk in and get a table, make a reservation or order take out. Ocean Park Pizza is great for date nights for couples or for a night out with the family. read more

Love this place as its been around for years. The problem is the highlight of the restaurant is prime rib. Most of the time it's OK but it's been hit and miss lately. A couple of times the meat was so gamey we wanted to return it. We never said anything because we were regulars. But now we are wary. Another time we we were not happy as they sold out of prime rib. Called in to pickup a couple of soups to go, thinking it would be quick. It was a busy night and the lady said it would be 15-20min wait. Ok. 40mins later Im still waiting, all the other pickup orderers have left. I'm still standing there and the girl looks at me and I can tell she forgot about me. She went into the kitchen and I hear her ask about soups. 5-10mins later she comes out with my soups and no explanation as to why the huge delay. Terrible service. They looked so disorganized - everybody doing everything instead of one person managing orders & the phone - left hand didn't know what the right hand was doing. Great restaurant for pizza but unfortunately they are all located in the Fraser valley so I don't get around to picking up one of their pizzas unless it is one of those few times during the year I'm out in the valley. The house special pizza is a hit and is super satisfying but I'm certain all of their other pizzas are pretty damn good too. One of the best restaurants for pizza around the lower mainland. Their pizzas have that distinctive taste typical of a great pizza restaurant that has been in the business for years. The toppings are thick and hefty packing tons of flavor. Can't go wrong usually when getting pizza from independent mom and pop operators like Ocean Park. Moved into the area and wanted to give it a try. Good time to go for my wife's birthday. She had prime rib and i had a strip loin steak. Both very good and staff was very good. Mentioned it was her birthday and the entire staff sang happy birthday with a piece of cheesecake for her. Everything was great until an older couple arrived, sat beside us and began to fight. It was so bad that it was embarrassing. We would have moved but no seats to be had. They kinda shut up when their food came. From its service to its food, Ocean Park is in a class all its own. The waitresses are top notch, and the meals are large and tasty. One downside is the fact that it's small; therefore, I never go before 8pm because it is usually packed before then. This also means that this is not ideal for groups--it can be done, I suppose, but you're better off just going with one or a few friends. This is not my concern, anyway--I'm just mentioning it because it's listed in the "optional" notes. I know that there used to be outdoor seating, but I don't think there is anymore. Who cares? Make a reservation if you plan to go during the regular dinner hour. Hire a babysitter if necessary (kids are welcome there, but kids these days don't appreciate wholesome food). Grab a friend. Go inside. Ask for Darryn. Tell her Johnny sent you. Eat anything that is on the menu and have a great time. And don't be cheap--you'll lose bigtime. read more

After a day at Cultus Lake, we came here for pizza. The place is busy but it didn't look like anyone had to wait for too long. We ordered the large 14 inch pizza (#13 on menu) with ham, onions, peppers and mushrooms. The eight slices were filling enough for the three of us. Toppings were generous. The pizza costed $20 which is very good value. Our diet cokes were bottomless. Lastly, the service was fantastic!! Definitely worthwhile. Dropped in and ordered 2 soups to go (thinking they would have large pots already made and that it would be quick) - The girl said they were busy so it would be 15-20mins. 40mins later I got my soup, after after everyone else waiting for their orders had left (even people who came in after me! I realize they were busy but I got the distinct suspicion that they forgot about my order until 30mins later, because one of the girls working there mentioned soup to the other girl, as she was looking in my direction and then went into the kitchen. Then 5-10mins later 2 small luke-warm soups are brought out. Not really worth waiting so long for. TBH, the pizza her is about average! And the service is badly organized. Not sure why some people say it's such a great pizza place.....maybe that's nostalgia...but it's certainly not worth the hassle to me. read more

The restaurant food is somewhat less than best, the rice pilaf is underseasoned, the French onion soup is mediocre at best, not baked, just a piece of toast with a bit of cheese on it. This place is okay in terms of service and food but the prices are more like prices you would pay at a more classy place in downtown vancouver. You can find better food at better prices in many places in the fraser valley and more specifically abbotsford. The service is not good bit it's not bad either. In may I called to buy a gift card for my dad who has been going to OPP for 35 years. I wanted to give my dad a surprise for Father's Day. Well despite closed borders and covid, I was told you can't call in a credit card on the phone and they have no online gift card option. Fast forward 5 months and I call to see if they have upgraded to better serve their customers, the answer was a resolute no. So if you grew up going with your parents and have since moved out of driving distance from OPP you are out of luck, if you are quarantining to keep yourself and others safe, you are out of luck as they would like you to walk into their restaurant to buy a gift card, despite not having no plan to dine there for that trip . If you are handicapped and elderly and can't drive, well too bad. OPP has enough business that they don't care if customers family members that don't live close or now live across the border or in the lower mainland would like to bless their relatives. read more

This is the saddest review I have written to date. We went way, way out of our way tonight to pick up Ocean Park Pizza. The Cadillac of pizza, from 1985 to, at least 2011. We had moved out of the area, and now it was a 30 minute drive to this location. So tonight was special. Ocean Park. Fond memories of those little balls of hand made dough that were fought over when the pizza arrived. The balls were a creative solution from the previous owners - they kept the lid of the box off the generous portions of creamy real cheese when you stacked several boxes on top of each other. Genius. The pizza was always loaded. The dough was spectacular, and the cheese was generous and real. Not tonight. The "everything" pizza I ordered had all the ingredients they were willing to give me piled in the centre, with only a measly portion of sauce and cheese extending the last 2" to the hard crust. The pizza was nothing like I grew up with. The location has been sold, and the new owners could give a f&^* about what it was like before. I can't speak about anything else on the menu, I did not order any of that. I wish the previous owners all the best in their well deserved retirement (I assume), but the new folks would do better to honour the traditions that built the reputation of Ocean Park Pizza. Charge me more, charge what it costs to create what you advertise on the website. I don't expect quality for free. By the same token, I don't expect "Yes, a pizza with every topping, beware it is one heavy pizza!" to equal a mild portion of each topping on 50% of the pizza. I expected more. read more

Reservations for 12 at 6 pm. At 6:15 my partner and I ordered the lasagna special. By 7:15 food had still not arrived. When we left to pay, there was a 10 minute wait while the cashier tried to figure out how to put a roll of paper in the till. The place was way too crowded. The lasagna, when it finally arrived was as good as any I have had. The staff was friendly enough but nothing exceptional. If you're after a good meal, this is the place to go. If you want a relaxing meal, I wouldn't recommend it. I will not be back. read more

Ocean Park is awesome! I've only been there a few times, but I loved it. There's one here in Abbotsford very close to my Grandma's house (maybe 3 or 4 blocks from her), making for an hour-long walk (or a bus trip, as at least one bus route goes right by it) from my place, but if I have the cash for a meal out, it's well worth the trip. It's small, so it's best for a smaller group (I went with my parents) or alone, but still one of the best places in town for good food. read more

Sept 3rd, 2012 --- Disgusted with local eateries health concern response (Ocean Park Pizza, Abbotsford BC --- We ordered delivery, as we have many times in the last 20 years from this location. Paid full prices ($60.42)as allways, paid our driver generous tip, as allways. But after the standard 1 hour wait, my wife,on her second fork into her seafood penne, found a 6 inch black hair. As bad as that was, accidents can happen,the disgusting part came next. I immediately called the restaraunt and asked for the manager. I was asked why... I stated my wife found a 6 inch hair in her dinner and wished to speak with the manager.I was asked to wait while the young lady got the manager. The same young lady came back to the phone and stated the manager was very busy and could not come to the phone!! I said, we find a 6 inch hair in our food and the manager is too busy to speak with us?...yes was the reply. -- Now, let it be said, I did call to want nor expect a refund. I did not call wanting a free meal of any kind. My reason for calling immediately was so my wife could have her meal replaced by way of exchange with the contaminated meal (we paid 15.99 for) which only had two forks removed as we just had a long day and were hungry. But we were never given that opportunity by the manager nor the young lady that answered the phone...but then again why should they... they had already received payment and we were not sitting in the restaurant with other patrons nearby. We will never eat here again and will advise our friends to consider the same due to the disgusting way this restaraunt deals with health concerns of their patrons. read more
