Don't go to Freeway Tinting! Ended up at Sundown Window Tinting, super friendly & knowledgeable with a sense of humor! I showed them a photo and they knew what shade it was. He even walked me outside and showed me a vehicle and explained how he knew it was that particular shade of tint. Freeway Tint, shrugged their shoulders and said I have no idea. I was researching window tint services for awhile and came across Sundown. I went into their office and the guy I worked with was great! He went over in detail the diff options, pricing and even answered all of my questions as this is my first vehicle I am tinting on my own. What I really like was his explanation in detail regarding not only the different shades but heat/sun protection that was offered with their tint. He did such a great job that I went ahead and made an appointment. I was so bummed to find out it was a three week wait. I was so happy and impressed with the help he provided I went and ahead and booked. I figured it was definitely a good thing they were so booked up. My appt came and the young girl I dealt with up front was JUST AS helpful, professional, knowledgeable and thorough. I was already getting my full truck done but I forgot to ask about the front windshield. She gave me the same great explanation of my options for the windshield. I went ahead and added that on. My original guy and this girl set the expectation of it being a 4 hour process but it was done sooner then that which was great. It has been a few days and the quality of the tint is just as amazing as the people I dealt with in the office. My truck looks way better and I immediately felt a difference in my truck being cooler inside and it's been 100 degrees lately. The customer service and the quality of the work is top notch here! Another huge factor for me is competitive pricing! My Mom got her windows done at a car wash and it was the SAME price as Sundown without the quality of service I experienced and she was never told about a heat resistance factor with her tint and has not noticed much difference after the fact. Awesome all the way around! I called to schedule an appointment expecting to be scheduled a week or two "out". Rebecca at the front counter said she had an appointment the next day! My appointment was scheduled for 8:00am and the doors to the business were already open when I arrived at 7:45am. Coffee was brewing as well. The installer (whose name I cannot remember, other than it starts with the letter "E") talked about tint options and then showed me his truck to get a better idea. I was quoted 4hrs to complete the job and it was finished in half of the time. I even received a "goodie bag" for my patronage! Who does that anymore?!?! Everyone was so friendly and efficient. I needed Turf Tint right away, to prevent the scorching rays bouncing off my windows from melting my newly installed artificial turf. They accommodated me very quickly, and when there was a bubble issue, came back the next day and fixed it. I have used Sundown Window Tinting several times when they were in Redlands, CA to tint my windows on many cars. They have always done a fantastic job. I own Salerno's Servicenter which is an automotive repair business in Redlands. I recommend them to all of my customers. Unfortunately, they have closed the Redlands location but I am still willing to drive the extra distance to have them perform the window tinting services. I had to replace a door glass that got broken. I drove there first thing this morning when they opened with the new glass out of the vehicle. Due to the longer drive, I requested to be able to wait for the repair. They were very accommodating to allow me to wait in their nice clean lobby with coffee and water. They came to my house and told me they could put very dark window tinting on my windows and solve my problem. When it came down to it they came out and put a very light tinting on my windows it barely was tinted at all and when I complained they came back out and told me that was as dark as they could make them. Recently I had an issue with a window tint peeling off a rear passenger car window. I had thought it was work performed by Sundowners. I did not have the warranty papers, but since the work was recently performed, they were able to look it up. As it turns out, the window tint may not have been performed by them.
