These guys are great. They machine cut the tint with extreme precision, so you're not getting some crappy hand cut tint with a bunch of little mistakes. They only use high quality films, so you don't need to worry about fading or having difficulty seeing through the film. First time taking a vehicle here. A lot of people recommended this place and the reviews were great. Made an appointment in the morning and when I went in they estimated about 4 hours to tint all the windows (i have a large truck). 4 hours ended up being about 2 and a half. Windows look awesome and great quality. Writing this review five days after the install. No bubbles, no streaks. As far as the price goes, you get what you pay for. I went with ceramic tint. Worst experience ever with Sundown!! I've taken 4 vehicles to them. This last time I took my SUV in and it had bubbles, they left my stereo turned up super loud and I have an infant. I took my car back to have the bubbles fixed (freshly washed) and they left it under trees and got bird poop all over it. When I asked them about it they just shrugged and said oh well. And didn't even call me that my car was done. I dropped it off at 8:30am and called them at 3:00pm asking what the status was. And they said oh yea it's done. Got there to pick it up and they had to search for my car. When asking management about the problems of tint peeling off we got two younger guys that came out and didn't seem to know what they were doing or talking about. If they got new management. I usually do not put negative comments.... In summary, buyers beware. Take before pictures of your car, especially around the windows and date it. Had all my car (2013 Audi TT) windows tinted on sep 14,2020 at Sun down window tinting in Riverside. The comments online had 4.7 rating so I was optimistic. Got a call 2 hrs after drop off and was told the defrost lines on my windshield melted due to aging and soap. Left wiggly lines. They had to redo it and would have to scrape all the rest of the defrost paint off first. Since I did not inspect my defrost lines prior to bringing it in, I did not argue. And I think the tinting is more important than the defrost line at this time, so I asked them to continue. Came to pick up the car and saw that there are small bubbles throughout the tint. Was told that these tints are thick, will take time to dry. I think California heat at 100+ degrees should dry things pretty fast. It was late during the day and I need to take the car. Came home and found debris all over the car. Started vacuuming, cleaning and wiping off the car. Found new scratches on inside of both doors close to the glass. Today, the bubbles did not change. I paid $600 for the job and got lousy results with scratches on my car. Have had three cars tinted before and this never happened. I am not confident in this shop to fix their mistakes without damaging my car further. If there's a a Madico rep reading this, any advice as to next step would be appreciated. read more
