I've been driving by this location for four years... I've even called a couple of times and inquired on pricing but I had yet to bite the bullet and actually try it out, until today! FYI ONCE SPRAY WAS $35. On Valentine's Day they are doing them for $30. The lady at the front desk was really lovely, I might misspell this but her name was Kryssia! She took the time to explain to me how their spray tans work, from light to medium to dark. You an also add an accelerator or scent or even extra bronze! She showed me how the machine works since I was a little bit nervous to repeat a Ross Galler situation (if you don't get that reference, I can't help you) and talk to me through using the hairnet and I really liked how they had temporary shoes peel off a couple tabs and they stick right to the bottom of your foot so you don't have to experience any ick! The machine wanted itself so you weren't freezing, and had built-in drying. I have to say the machine made a couple noises probably an older machine, but I'm excited to see if it did the trick. I will certainly be returning and try the medium since I opted for the late and didn't want to overdo it on my first try. read more

Switched from PB and glad I did. Decided I can't go on vacation looking iridescent, so a base tan was a bit necessary. It's a little difficult to get in and out of the location because 28 is a nightmare, but don't let that deter you. Came in and met Kelsey, who promptly got me signed up and had me tanning in a few minutes. What I liked about this experience was 1) friendliness - ever feel like a subhuman at a large conglomerate tanning salon while the orange 20 year olds judge you as they check you in? Not here. 2) water! It's up front and there for you to grab 3) cute welcome kit with some travel sized lotions 4) HAIRTIES! Ladies! Mythical creatures we find in purses and couch cushions only 6 months after we need them! I'm far happier coming back here than I imagined so do yourself a favor and go. The bed was clean and bulbs were strong, and the settings in the diamond beds are pretty cool too. You can even turn off the face area and adjust as needed. It was my first time at this location but not my first time tanning! I was still a little nervous for the experience and hesitant about what I might pay. However, Lexi made my first visit to Sunbright amazing! She was very sweet and made me feel very comfortable from the beginning. She walked me back to my bed, showed me all the buttons and how to's (which can be the most nerve racking part at some salons!) after explaining the most beneficial package for my specific tanning needs and helping me select a great intensifying lotion. Although I'm fairly new to tanning salons, I have to say I am a fan of SunBright Tanning. The staff members who helped me were friendly and gave me the information I needed, all without trying to sell me a package or subscription (I ultimately signed up, but it was nice to be allowed to think about the choices and NOT be pushed). The store is clean and quiet, no annoying music blaring. As Alisa mentioned, members are allowed to use store goggles and they offer free water too. Sunbright is a great tanning salon. From the staff to the quality and care of the beds. It's very clean, the beds are well maintained. They have the sweetest girls always at the front desk working. They also always have the best recommendations on tanning lotion. I am always impressed with the staffs professional attitude and friendliness. Really makes you feel comfortable. There are options for bed upgrades which I highly recommend, they are awesome! I would also recommend getting a membership, it really does save you money if you're a frequent tanner. Just visited for the first time today and was very impressed! I called around to a few other places and SunBright was very helpful and nice - Hollywood Tan basically told me they didn't take appointments (I just asked if they had any beds open or were busy) and to look online for pricing because they had so many options - not friendly or helpful at all. This salon is amazing!!!!! I used to own a tanning salon and had very high expectations. I have traveled quite a lot recently and have been to a few tanning salons in the area and out. None of them were clean and the associates were not helpful or friendly. I called the store to get some info and Kelsey was AMAZING!! She was so friendly and her answers made me want to come in. I came in and she talked me through all of the packages and she was extremely friendly and awesome. The other girl that helped me was awesome as well. They are all so amazing and friendly. I bought a $19.00 30-day unlimited pass through Groupon and it was well worth my money! SunBright is very clean and they provide you with goggles. The staff is very professional, but I wish they were a little bit friendlier. They aren't pushy about products and upgrades, which is a welcome change from other salons, but it would have been nice to at least hear an overview of the different services, specials, and lotions offered were. I'm an introvert, so asking lots of questions isn't the easiest job for me. It would have helped me out if they would have at least made a suggestion or two about their products since I didn't recognize any of their brands. Overall, it's still one of the better salons and I plan to return, especially if they continue to run specials like the one I got! read more

Being new to tanning, Ashley and Lindsey helped me tremendously with answering all my questions. Ashley (who even stayed after her shift that day, since I had spoken to her on the phone earlier) gave me a tour of the place and explained the different levels and basically told me everything I needed to know about the beds/tanning and I signed up right away! This place is just simply amazing! Every time I go, the staff is just so friendly and sweet! They offer free water and candy! Members can also use the store goggles and towels as well! I have been meaning to write this review for a long time now! I used to work at 2 different tanning salons; one salon was in Gainesville VA and the other in Radford VA. I absolutely love this place! I drive from Warrenton to tan! I recommend it to friends and family all the time. They are friendly, professional, clean, and the girls are very knowledgeable about their products (I know that because I worked at a salon!). I even ended up hiring one of their employees while she was in school at Radford to work at my tanning salon because she was friendly and knew about the products and the beds. Im in VA for a few days before my caribbean vacation this weekend, and my friend recommended this place to me for a pre-tan. I went here for spray tanning yesterday for the very first time, and it was a pleasant experience. I had some really dumb questions about it, but the girls were really helpful and patient with me. They gave me a free lotion sample and a coupon when I got there, and the best part--it was pouring rain and they let me borrow their umbrella to get to my car (I pulled up to the curb and returned it of course) I thought that was very sweet! Now that my initial first-time-tanning anxiety has dissipated I will definitely be returning again before my Jamaica trip tomorrow. read more

I did a bit of research on local tanning salons, but I could not find any close to me that I felt comfortable with, so I started doing some quick research and found the nicest staffed tanning place locally. The staff is VERY helpful and explained all the packages so that I was able to choose exactly what I needed and not something that was overpriced. Got a spray tan, super easy, kinda cold so be warned, but i saw a comment about spots and streaks from the machine, i didn't have that problem, if you have specks why not just dab them into your skin with the towel provided. So far so good. Only thing i feel to mention would be if you have a larger bum make sure to bend a little when it sprays your backside that way the color gets under. read more

Have been coming here for years, the staff is very friendly and helpful. I have tried most of the beds, the two highest level beds are best. They provide mini waters, candy and stickers;so you can have a cute "tantoo" and watch your tanning progress. Will continue to come here. Only downfall is expensive lotion, but that will be with any tanning salon. read more

Very friendly staff, I'm always promptly greeted when walking in. The beds and rooms are always very clean. I also appreciate staff always alerting me to when new bulbs are installed to avoid burning. The staff always assists me while determining how long I should go, and which beds will be most beneficial to my tanning needs. They also have complimentary water and sweets! UPDATE: I especially recommend the bed with the shoulder tanning lights-I got a perfect base tan in only 4 visits! The best part is still the customer service though. The staff here is super friendly. They answered all of my questions when I called and the bajillion follow up questions I had when I went into sign up. They were very helpful with showing me how to use the beds and pick out the perfect lotion. They are always very chipper and after only a few visits most of them had my name memorized and already had me pulled up on the computer before I even walked through the door. Prices are good for the choices that you have. The new super duty bed is awesome. Very helpful in helping to choose just the right lotion for me as well as explaining the packages prices and how the beds work. I've been tanning for a while, and decided to give SunBright a try. I should have just paid the extra money for Palm Beach. They claim they are "no-contract"....but not really. They still file your card, and still charge you for a month post-cancel at least that's what I was told by the girl behind the counter "that's just how we do it." I'm moving out of state, so its not like I could continue to tan. As for the beds, they're low grade despite tanning in a mid level bed. And usually sticky....I always rewipe them down...before deciding to do the stand up so I don't have to physically touch anything other than the start button. On a brighter note, for the most part the staff is friendly. Other than that, I would NOT recommend this place. read more

I've been going to this tanning salon for a year and a half now & I love it! I found a coupon online & started going before a trip to the Bahamas. The girl helped me pick out a lotion and I got a nice base tan before my trip. I love that when I go in there they know my name and are always friendly. I've recommended this salon to many people.
