We talked through my skin tone, lifestyle, and goals, and together came up with a plan to achieve the exact look I wanted. She explained every step of the process, made sure I was comfortable the entire time, and was the ultimate hype woman when I told her I was getting the tan for my engagement photos. When photo day came (24 hours after the tan), I was absolutely obsessed with how I looked -- and so was my fiancé! He loved it so much that now he wants to go too and wants me to make this a regular thing. Safe to say, I'll definitely be returning. Highly recommend!

I did not "hurt" in anyway shape or form. Nichole is my new go to for waxing. I'm really glad I found her. Nichole uses a wax I was not familiar with, I've gone to more than one place in my time; but she knew her products and was quick to tell me what to expect.

No one pays $120 to be tan the next day that's ridiculous. I could've gone to Palm Beach tan and be dark tan right now.

Less than a week later I again tried to use the replacement bottle of lotion at the same business, and the pump has the same issue as the first. Despite the obvious flaw that makes the product unusable the owner still refused to refund me. I'm stuck with a $60 bottle of lotion that can't be used. Worst of all, the first faulty bottle is right back on the shelf waiting to rob another person of their hard-earned $60.

If their appointments typically last over an hour I could have made that work, but their scheduling tool was clear that it would last 2-3. I was also surprised that no one followed up with me afterward.

Her technique is both efficient and mindful, striking the perfect balance between machine and hand filing. Initially, I was getting regular gel manicures, but Bernadette truly cares about nail health, and she suggested switching to builder gel (BIAB). It was a game-changer. Builder gel doesn't require soaking off and allows for continuous fills--meaning you can build on top of your last set without compromising nail integrity. Since switching, my nails have grown so long, strong, and healthy, and a single BIAB manicure can last me up to 6 weeks! Beyond nails, Bernadette is a wonderful person--easy to talk to, knowledgeable, and deeply caring. She also specializes in pedicures for clients with diabetes or other health conditions, which speaks volumes about her expertise and sensitivity to clients' unique needs. If you're looking for a thoughtful, health-conscious nail experience, I highly recommend Refresh Nail Spa and Bernadette in particular. I've been with Palm Beach for over 2 years now, tanning at least 4 times a week and buying products only from them. The beds are always clean and well maintained, the products are priced accordingly, and the staff is AMAZING (I always deal with Tracie, Megan, and Jackie). I have been in few establishments that make me feel as comfortable as this one. I am always welcomed warmly when I come in - on a first name basis with most of the staff! I feel terrible for the customer that had a bad experience! In all the time I've been there, I've NEVER had an issue! I made a brand-new account, tried again, and it still would not let me book. So no, this was not user error. Your system is just a mess. Calling did not help either. I actually wanted to book over the phone, and instead of helping me, I was pushed right back to booking online -- on the same broken website that was already not working. That made the whole thing even more ridiculous. Then I got a vague answer about techs making their own schedules, but no real solution for actually booking with the person I wanted. So basically, the website is broken, the phone is unhelpful, and the customer is left to just figure it out? Be serious. I have never seen a business act so uninterested in taking somebody's money. At a certain point it felt like I was begging this salon to let me become a client, and that is absurd. Fix the website. Fix the communication. Fix the chaos. She took the time to answer all of my questions and made sure I was as comfortable as possible during the process. The procedure itself took about 15 minutes, not counting the additional time needed to let the numbing cream kick in. As she started the procedure, we realized that more numbing cream was needed, so that was another 10 to 15 minutes tacked on to the time. Unfortunately, the procedure was not as painless as was initially described, but it's not prohibitively uncomfortable. Dr. Kim checked in with me throughout the process and if I needed a break, she would take a pause and give me one. After the procedure, Dr. Kim gave me some wound care instructions as well as some ointment to put on the site as it healed. I'm happy to report that there was no pain or discomfort after the procedure. Procedure side, I love the energy of this place. There's all kinds of holistic, homeopathic, and ayurvedic materials in here including incense, tea, crystals, candles, sage bundles, palo santo, and all sorts of sprays and tonics to help purify your home or your environment. There are even gift sets for all the holistic homegirls in your life. They also sell accessories including ankle bracelets and custom waist beads imported from Ghana. Every single one of the staff members I've met has been absolutely wonderful. Warm, and friendly, and welcoming.
