It was my first time there so I was completely clueless about anything having to do with spray tanning. The woman at the front desk asked us questions (I was with a friend who was also new to spray tans) and we told her we were new and needed lots of guidance. Anytime she would ask a question and we didn't know what she meant she would awkwardly laugh at us. Maybe it is super rare to get first time tanners. She was very helpful when it came time to using the machine, but oh my goodness. The machine kept repeating that it was heated but it was so incredibly cold and miserable! And once we got out of the machines our faces were a disaster! It was super splotchy on both of us. I went home and washed my face right away. I don't think I ever need to get a spray tanning again, at least not from here. read more

I have been going here for years for several reasons. 1. Ally A. Is knowledgeable and friendly. I have never bought a product, however WITH GREAT ENTHUSIASM, she will explain everything and anything to me. She never has to research a machine, a product, or a procedure to rely accurate information. Also, she has the best smile! 2. They are always updating with new equipment and technologies. 3. It is clean. 4. Easy to check in. 5. I can place my membership on hold for a nominal fee. 5. The entire staff is courteous. Its a very young person-vibe. I recommend going there. read more

The location was not open during the open hours it listed on the website and door. A few other customers waited and no one came. It was a huge disappointment considering everyone drove to find the store in Herndon closed. read more

I started tanning recently to help with my insomnia (it helps). Everyone there ,especially Brock, has been very patient and helpful with my lack of tanning experience. He will probably be running the company one day. read more

A rip-off! The contracts you have to sign are insane. They do everything they can to make the cancellation process almost impossible and they renew your membership when you have stopped it. and they refuse to refund you. Worse business practice. read more

Brock was amazing and very kind. Recommend the Herndon location, it was a good vibe! Got a sunless tan and love it.

This is one of my favorite Palm Beach Tans. The staff is always friendly, the beds are always clean and they are always up front about wait times during busy season. I have tanned at a couple of other salons in the area over the years, and as a whole PBT is far superior. You get exactly what you pay for. I wish they would get either an I-dome or a Sun Angel at this location, but it's still a great store none the less. read more

I like this place. The girls here are always friendly and knowledgeable about the products/services. I wish they had a bigger mirror in the rooms but other than that no complaints read more

Hernando PBT rocks! First to review. Woot~ Low wait times - check Clean beds - check Cool staff - check read more

Palm Beach Tan - Skin Care Near Me - Herndon, Virginia

THE BEDS ARE DIRTY EVERY SINGLE TIME I GO TO THIS LOCATION. I've complained to the manager, district manager and even corporate, but nothing ever changes. I like Palm Beach Tan, I've been a member for over 5 years and I will continue to go here, but I'm just letting future customers know to check your beds (top bed also) thoroughly, there are always smudge marks left and sweat marks. It's unfortunate with everything you hear about COVID on surfaces and all the signs throughout the salon stating they take cleaning serious, when actually they don't. Just a head's up. read more

Things have definitely turned around at this location. Kayla is now the manager and is very helpful! read more

Palm Beach Tan - Skin Care Near Me - Herndon, Virginia

I have been a customer here for several years, and always received superior service. Today, however, A.K. went above and beyond the call of duty when she noticed that I left my watch behind. She called me immediately! and I am so grateful to her. It has enormous sentimental value for me and couldn't possibly be replaced. THANK YOU! read more

Love the team here! Lots of beds and 2 spray machines so I'm always in and out quick..miranda was so patient with me even though I needed so much help for my first spray... I was really worried but it turned out great! The service is top notch and everyone is very knowledgeable of beds and products. They guide you through the process if you're new to tanning or spraying and took time to help me pick the right products to get the best results (primer and exfoliant) without being pushy or annoying..I came in for my second spray tonight after being a UV customer for a while and miranda once again knocked my socks off answering all of my spray tanning questions so I wanted to give her a round of applause! read more

They were not honest about the cost of sunless tanning. Suddenly, $7 "tax" is being charged on top of the $70/month. I called and was given total attitude on the phone. It's pretty unbelievable actually. Up until now, I was happy going there. read more

Place is clean, staff is friendly. My only issue is that they push the lotions a bit too hard. I own a business and I understand that they make good margin on product, but I think me saying "no thank you" once should be enough and I shouldn't need to justify my decision or fend off an attempt to make me feel guilty. There is a difference between a consultative sale vs. a pushy, "gotta hit my numbers" sale. It should be a pleasure to do business with them vs. me feeling the need to put my shields up every time I walk in the door. read more

Four solid stars! I think I have a sunshine button...that is to say, I love the Spring and Summer months when days are longer and I can feel the warm rays beaming on my face and shoulders. When Winter comes around and days are shorter and darker, I just don't feel as happy. Enter PBT of Herndon. They offer a bit of happy sunshine even during snowmageddon using beds that are clean, relatively new, and seemingly well maintained. You can filter out damaging rays to your face by turning off the facial tanners on the higher end beds, and getting inside one of the ultra-modern ones with tons of buttons, lights, and vents feels a bit like climbing into a spaceship:-). The line of skin care products is formidable and there is always a discount of 30% once you sign up for a subscription at the diamond level. Another great service I use (more frequently) is the Versa Spa spray bronzer. It takes about 10 minutes, looks very natural, includes an anti-aging moisturizer, and lasts for almost a week. You can choose the level (I choose lev 1 during winter and 2 in warmer months) for a natural glow all year round without any UV whatsoever. They also have some "at home" products that let you touch up in between visits, but it is a bit pricey. The girls are always friendly and helpful when I visit; they remember the regulars and accommodate requests. I sometimes do a "cocktail" which includes a few minutes in the regular tanning bed plus a sunless bronzing spray visit. This place is open until very late on week nights and until 9 on Sundays so it's convenient for me to use. read more

We came for a one time session while we were visiting the area. We were given exceptional customer service. The premium bed we used was fabulous. Thanks for making our vacation a lot tanner! read more

Have to agree with Jenn J. I just wanted to try two or three sessions, and from my phoncon Just now with the manager, I would have to pay at least $50 to start up---and that's for only one session a month. And That doesn't include the tanning oil you're supposed to have to use. No thank you! read more

Love this place and i feel comfortable coming during covid. also have a gentleman working up front who has the perfect energy

If I could give this place zero starts I would. The spray machine with 4 steps you CANNOT HEAR the steps and the front desk is aware of this apparently and does not even give proper instructions. Miranda, apparently told me I would not be able to hear the machine?! So why is this machine still in operation?! She also had a complete meltdown over my refund request, called her manager on speaker, and continued with the uncalled for attitude. Who would pay for a spray tan they now need to go home and remove due to a faulty machine? Customer service was absolutely horrendous! She also told me she processed my refund but didn't know how to do it so she credited the account instead and when I asked for proof, she then asked her manager how to do a refund - which was then actually refunded/voided. Horrendous customer service and faulty spray tan machines. Do not come here. A simple issue became a nightmare for no reason at all. Training is imperative here. read more

Brock is awesome and not matter how he feels always has a smile. Best tanning place in northern Virginia. The place is clean The beds are clean The front desk staff always nice Great tan read more

I recently had a nightmare billing issue that went on for 3 months and involved Palm Beach Corporate. Palm Beach Tan - Skin Care Near Me - Herndon, Virginia

Palm Beach Tan is hands down the best in Customer Service, Equipment and Employees. Courtney, the store manager, is the ENTIRE reason I keep going to the Herndon location, even though there is another location less than 1 mile from my home. The Herndon location has been proven to excel in all the above noted reasons & its the best on the planet. Courtney is the reason I have kept my membership and have upgraded three different times and would upgrade again if she asked due to the benefits of the upgrades. Do yourselves a favor and go see Courtney at Palm Beach Tan in Herndon, Va. read more

Pricier than most. Disorganized staff. Long waits. Very high prices, but the beds are no better than other area salons. I've given this place a few chances, but have been disappointed. On 2 occasions, one or more facial bulbs were burnt out in the bed, and of course I didn't notice until I was already in. I asked for a refund or at least partial credit, but all I got was a half-hearted "sorry". Wait times are VERY long at times. Check in system is a MESS...plan to spend several minutes to checking in, give your name several times, wait while the computer doesn't work, etc. The staff seems ok but really disorganized. Exception is the store manager who is unfriendly and fake to the point of being a real turnoff. She seems quite unhappy, either with her weight or life in general. I would not recommend this place. read more

Outstanding service! Clean and tidy facility. I have an excellent experience each time I go. Most of the employees are good at their job and keep a smile on the customers' face. Amy and Nicole are the best!! read more

Love this place. I have gone late and had no wait time and I've gone first thing in the morning. The staff is very friendly and explained everything to me when I first signed up. I go in and I get out. read more

I would recommend this place. It's always clean and all the staff is usually friendly. The beds work wonderful. The staff is always able to answer any of my questions. They run a lot of promotions which are great. Overall, this is the best tanning salon I've been to. I highly recommend it. read more

So.. I tried to use this $24.95 membership coupon on here last night and it is a huge waste of time. First of all, what it doesn't tell you is you can only tan once a month with it!!!! What kind of membership is that? And FYI their spray tans are SO over priced... $55 a piece. Other places are about 30 at most and there is a place in Fairfax that charges $15 after 10pm so I just went there. Palm Beach Tan salons on the west coast are no where near that price. So that's how she tried to explain this one time a month tan membership was cost effective except you also have to pay $20 to start it LOL. Don't waste you time. A spray tan is a makeup solution that wears off in a week or less. Anyone paying $55 without looking around for something less is either getting taken advantage of or really dumb. The girl at the front also had an attitude. read more

This place is great. The rates are affordable. Its an easy in and out and you actually get color! As a bonus... the staff is nice too. Decent prices and great staff. Clean and fast on wait time. Alex is one of the best here. read more

The ladies working the front desk were warm and inviting with my recent, first visit. They showed me around the salon, which boasts two bathrooms, a big vanity with toiletries for touch-ups and lots of beds! I have a Level 3 membership and have been with Palm Beach in Richmond, VA since October. I am moving to this area and considered canceling my membership to save money, but the service I got today has changed my mind! read more

Recently this year I have been treated so poorly here. I'm not sure of the girls name but whenever I come in she is SO rude to me. Also I feel as though they don't know anything about the intensity and timing people should go in the beds for... I have burned now 2 times this month and it is so annoying. Starting to think this place may not be worth my money. read more

I love coming here. The staff is so friendly and even after two visits they remembered my name!! They always have smiles on their faces and positive attitudes. This is my favorite Palm Beach Tan location! Brock is the store manager and he is so personable and professional. I'm always so excited to see him. The beds are in great, clean condition. I drive to this location even though it's further than some others. read more

They're tanning deal is such a steal; 20$ a month for their bronze beds. I've only had to wait for a bed once in the 4 months I've been a member here. Also, I've gotten irritation bumps on my legs from tanning at other salons before but it's never happened here. I read that it happens because the workers don't clean it well enough/sanitize it enough, so I'm very happy with this salon and their cleanliness. They also provide goggles while other places made me bring/buy them myself. I wish they had tanning stickers though! read more

I'm new to tanning but this place seems like a winner to me. I've had minimal waiting and the facilities are clean.

This Palm beach is my overall favorite place for a tan! The staff is amazing and so kind! minimal waiting time and the rooms are always clean. Not to mention when you get the spray tan they supply the glasses, hair net, nose filters and lip balm totally free of cost (Katie is the best!) read more

I am so happy with my Versa spray tan! I got so many compliments on how natural and great it looked. It lasted about 4 days, but I didn't do much to maintain it and swam in the ocean a few times. The girls at Palm Beach tan really helped me as I was a first-timer. I would go back and get another one soon for a confidence boost! read more

The girl at the front desk was efficient and friendly. Both girls were working hard. As an update I was going to give Palm Beach another try to make things right. I was e-mailed and told a customer service Rep would be reaching out to me and then.... NO ONE REACHED OUT TO ME! Thanks but no thanks, rude employees and empty promises to make things right I'm glad I tried this place out before spending my hard earned money on a membership. read more

I wanted to give NO stars but it will not let me. The staff was unfriendly. And I had left my drivers license at home so they said they couldn't put me in their system without it and I therefore couldn't get a tan. I had cash but was not willing to waste my time going back home to get my license when there was no logical reason for it. I am 54 so it was not an age issue. They must hound you later and don't want any fake addresses.. LOL. Who knew you needed identification to get a tan..OH wait just GO SOMEWHERE ELSE like Solar Tan in Reston. They were more than happy to take my money without identfication and were extremely pleasant. read more
