But Heather, the owner, was absolutely incredible--she immediately put me at ease, and the entire procedure was quick, painless, and so much better than I ever expected. After such a great experience, I decided to go back for a spray tan, and it was hands down the best I've ever had-- organic natural, even, and flawless. Then, I treated myself to a Voda Facial, and once again, it exceeded my expectations. The results were amazing, and my skin has never felt better. Three treatments in less than a month, and I can confidently say that this new customer has become a lifelong customer. If you're looking for a place that offers top-tier services, a welcoming atmosphere, and an owner who truly cares about her clients, look no further than Voda Spa! Susie C.

That is fine. I'm in town for the day and I said I would schedule tanning today on line and did she have any suggestions for local lash or brow. She said to google, which is fine. I think I made her angry by asking because all of a sudden, the appointment I wanted for tanning was gone. There are several tanning areas to chose from. I will give my loyalty and money to someone else.

The woman at the front desk asked us questions (I was with a friend who was also new to spray tans) and we told her we were new and needed lots of guidance. Anytime she would ask a question and we didn't know what she meant she would awkwardly laugh at us. Maybe it is super rare to get first time tanners. She was very helpful when it came time to using the machine, but oh my goodness. The machine kept repeating that it was heated but it was so incredibly cold and miserable! And once we got out of the machines our faces were a disaster! It was super splotchy on both of us. I went home and washed my face right away. I don't think I ever need to get a spray tanning again, at least not from here.

I ended up being guided through for process - she was super friendly, i felt very comfortable. My artist knew how to match my expectations and skin tone to the right color/shade of tan that they offer perfectly! I ended up looking bronzed and almost airbrushed appearing for my beach vacation, and not a tinge of orange. Highly recommend. My skin didn't have any negative reactions or any patching (aside for when the tan started wearing off about 5ish days after, which happens for all spray tans). They know what they're doing here!! Will be returning this summer for big events!

Lights off. No staff. Nothing. Their sign said Sunday "By Appointment Only," yet apparently even when you have an appointment, no one shows up. I called their Bethesda location, and the first receptionist claimed we weren't in the system--even though I booked on Wednesday at 2:22 PM (I checked my call log and took a screenshot). Someone took all of my details including my credit card, but somehow my appointment "didn't exist." Then the owner got on the phone and said she actually could see me in their system but didn't know what happened. She blamed a software switch on Tuesday... but I booked on Wednesday. So that excuse made no sense. Her only solution was to ask if we could come tomorrow. No, we actually can't--because unlike her business, we plan ahead. I took the weekend off from my real estate schedule to celebrate. We booked a hotel in Tysons, hired a dog sitter, and made a whole day of this. And it was completely wasted. What really stunned me was the total lack of care. No apology that felt meaningful. No attempt to make it right. No offer of a complimentary service. Nothing. I'm a business owner myself, and I would never handle a mistake like this this way. Our anniversary plans were basically ruined because this spa didn't bother to honor our confirmed appointment--or provide any real remedy afterward. Don't waste your time or money here. If they can't handle a simple booking, I wouldn't trust them with anything else either.

No problem whatsoever. Today I went to their Cascades Overlook location for the hundred time and the receptionist named Dylan told me that my membership allows me to use the bed once a month and he said you've already used it for this month. I explained to him that my membership is unlimited for the basic bed, and I've been using it just like how they sold it to me and he also helped me so many timesevery week when I wanted to use it Without any problem. All of a sudden without an email, without any notification they decided to change the terms of their service. When I asked him if they changed their membership services he told me "no it's always has been this way", but it clearly wasn't! He was extremely unprofessional, resisted to give me any information about their manager, when I asked him about their customer service number, so I can call and figure out the situation, he gives me an answer saying "I don't have that number, I don't know"!!! Excuse me what?!?!? You do work there as a receptionist, how can you not know what your customer service number is, and not help me anyway at all with connecting me to a manager or anyone responsible!!! Ridiculous customer service!!! Just stay away from this place! I canceled my membership and I will never use this place again! Horrible customer service, horrible!!!!

I was finally able to have a call back from these folks and was able to book an appointment. The establishment is clean and the staff were friendly. We received a 60 minute massage. The massage was 'okay'. It felt like someone just rubbing oil on you. The pressure was kind of weak. I felt awkward bringing it up more than once. After we redeemed our gift card, there was an issue with gratuity. When we were gifted this a few years back, our friends mentioned they had added 20% tip. I believe the price of the massage went up, which makes sense. However, the front desk person made it seem like prices haven't changed and it was odd that the tip was so little. It would have been nice if they were just honest with why the top was much less now, which is probably because the price of the massage went up. I would probably check out another place.
