But the tech still put polish on the nip that it stung pretty bad. Even after making my cuticle bleed, she continued to be pretty rough on my fingers even though my cuticles weren't in bad shape. As for polish, it was horrendous... nail tech made a mark on one of my nails, and she didn't fix it. I didn't notice until I got in the car because I felt rushed to leave. Which by the way, they didnt apply my top coat until I was done with my pedi. How was I supposed to put on my shoes without touching my nails...? Additionally, the manager, Thomas, demonstrated a level of professionalism and customer care that deserves recognition. He was welcoming, attentive, and made considerable efforts to rectify an experience that unfortunately fell far below reasonable expectations. The primary issue stemmed from the quality of the services provided in comparison to the imagery displayed online. The photographs showcased on the website create the impression of highly refined and polished nail artistry; however, the actual outcome bore little resemblance to what was advertised. Thomas himself later acknowledged that the images featured online were not photographs of work performed on actual clients of the salon, but rather promotional images. My pedicure experience was deeply disappointing from a technical standpoint. Essential elements of a professional pedicure--including proper cuticle care, trimming, filing, buffing, and overall finishing--were either poorly executed or entirely overlooked. To his credit, Thomas personally stepped in afterward to correct many of these deficiencies, carefully reworking the nails and attempting to restore the quality that should have been delivered initially. It is important to note that the technician who originally performed the pedicure, despite the poor workmanship, remained polite and pleasant throughout the interaction. Because I was a walk-in client and understood scheduling limitations, I voluntarily offered to wait until Thomas completed work with his existing customers before having my nails polished. I had intentionally built extra time into my schedule and had no objection to waiting. Unfortunately, the experience deteriorated further when Thomas asked his sister to complete the polishing portion of the service. Her responsibility was relatively straightforward, as the corrective work had already been completed. However, her demeanor was unnecessarily abrasive, aggressive in tone, and dismissive in manner. The interaction immediately shifted the atmosphere from accommodating to uncomfortable. Rather than continue under those circumstances, I respectfully declined the service and chose to leave. Thomas graciously offered not to charge me for the pedicure at all, which I declined because I genuinely appreciated the effort he made to salvage the situation. Ultimately, we reached a reasonable compromise in which I paid only half of the original amount. While I can commend the establishment for its cleanliness, ambiance, and Thomas's sincere attempts at customer recovery, the inconsistency in service quality and the unprofessional interaction I experienced ultimately overshadowed the visit. Most importantly, this experience influenced my decision not to proceed with the significantly more expensive Russian manicure service I had originally intended to purchase. In hindsight, I am grateful the issues arose beforehand rather than after making a far larger investment in a premium service.
