Update to our review of May 4, 2024. All the good things I had to say after Greg had his guys redo the poor first attempt at resurfacing our driveway last year went right out the window this morning. I first attempted to contact Greg via email to schedule the agreed upon annual inspection on June 4, 2025. After hearing nothing for a couple of weeks, he finally responded with a proposal on July 13th which detailed the work to be done at a cost to us of $500. We accepted the proposal that same day. Greg cautioned that he would schedule our work along with other jobs he had in the area, so there could be a wait - which was no problem for us. After hearing nothing for several weeks however, I asked for an update on August 25. He responded on August 28th that he currently had no projects scheduled for the "Deltona or Daytona" areas but would advise when he did. On October 7 he asked if "the next 4-6 weeks" would work for us, to which I immediately said yes, and requested a couple of days advance notice so I could power wash the driveway. Then nothing again for 8 weeks, so I asked again via email on December 7 for an update. Nothing again, so I called and talked directly to Greg on December 17. He was obviously surprised and less than happy to hear from me and arranged to come over on Monday morning 12/22 @ 9:00am to discuss the matter further. He arrived at 8:11 and apparently agitated about something. He then proceeded to tell me immediately that he wanted nothing more to do with us - that we were far out of his normal operational territory and that he simply couldn't afford to support us any further. After some back and forth in which I was trying to figure out just exactly what "maintenance" would be required to keep the driveway looking good, he decided to terminate the meeting by addressing me as "Look Dude, this is going nowhere . . . . . . ." - to which I reminded him I was not "Dude" to him, but instead "Mr. Customer." At this, he departed. I guess he might have thought a bit more about our meeting after leaving because I received a text from him at 9:15am directing me to contact him sometime after the new year, around 1/15/2026 - and not by email (verifiable paper trail?). And for what purpose should I contact Him? To get strung along for another six months? For some more surly treatment? No thanks. Bottom line - these guys are capable of delivering some incredibly nice work; but are equally capable of delivering some incredibly shabby customer service. read more

Couldn't speak more highly about Greg K and his crew at Sun Surfaces of Orlando! If you're looking to get your garage flooring done, I highly recommend giving them a call! We recently moved into a new construction home, and I wanted to get a quality epoxy/polyaspartic coating for our garage floor. I gave them a call and Greg K promptly picked up and answered the many questions I had about the process and quality of their materials. He was no pressure, detailed, and fantastic to work with throughout the process. I've worked with and hired many companies for various services over the years, and I can honestly say that I think my experience with Greg was the best I have ever had, and that's really saying something. Wow, was I impressed. Very professional, responsive, detail-oriented, went above and beyond on numerous occasions. I can't speak highly enough about him. Then there's the quality of the materials and installation. The process spanned a few days due to the number of coats they do, and man was it worth it! They were very detail-oriented and clean throughout the process. The pricing was very reasonable as well, considering how many hours they spent with a couple guys each day. I'm very satisfied with the end result! I can't speak to their other services, but if you're looking for quality garage flooring in the Orlando or Clermont area, I highly recommend reaching out to them! And ask for Greg! read more

They destroyed my lanai My pool pump was damaged Did horrible job Broke my lanai doors Destroyed other paver job w their dirty equipment and shoes Left marks in my gravel RV parking spot never offered to repair Destroyed my gate which is custom made for my trailer Destroyed my driveway My pool pump hasn't worked after they shut it off for a week My pool overflow drain was destroyed by their crew and I have it in camera , they are denying it No one is calling back They left me with a horrible outcome . The pattern is done w horrible taste Color bleeds already Looks terrible when it rains Very slippery Will never hire them again Their crew are unprofessional Have no skills No license to do this kind of work. No training to do this kind of work They never used any kind of tools to make straight lines Not work 16k And my drains still flood my lanai All talk , sold me the moon w their pics No brain just muscles They are not taking any kind of liability to the damage They have Caused my property I will be seeing you in court Treating me like an idiot because I am a woman ! read more

This is an update to my review of 03/23/24. Sundek came to my home this past week and this week and took care of the issues I was having. Everything looks great and hopefully will continue to look good. Greg is here to help, he called me and came to my home and has taken care of the problem. My new driveway- beautiful!! Trevor explained each step that would be done to match the brick stucco on my home. So many colors but my heart was set on the brick colors. Each day Salvador and Daniel completed their stage and were very polite and accommodating if I had any questions. They do work hard. I highly recommend the SunDeck product and this company. This company gets a 5 Star Review for these two important reasons: The quality of work that was done, and The communication and attention to detail throughout the process. From the first phone call I made, this company demonstrated high value that continued throughout the process of having our back porch area and pool deck re-done and painted with Sundek Product. Galvain was the first person spoke with when I called and I had a lot of questions, he answered every one of them and took the time to explain a rough overview of the Sundek product and their process. I felt comfortable enough on the phone with him to agree to have a sales representative come out and give us a quote on upgrading our back porch and pool deck. With both of our work schedules, I need an early evening appointment, which they were able to accommodate. Trevor came out to our house and took some measurements, and explained in detail how their process works, and gave us a quote on how much it would cost. There were a good amount of choices to make in terms of which kind of surface to select, as well as the color(s) on each, the samples he provided were very helpful. Trevor answered every one of our questions and I felt confident with the way they were answered, and his knowledge in the process. This was important because we had never done a project like this before, or even knew the first thing about decorative or textured concrete. He stayed as long as it took in order for us to pick the color choices, and answer all of our questions. Based on the level of professionalism up to that point, we felt there was enough value in the product that we agreed to sign the contract and have the work done. From the time the project started (which was within the time frame they quoted us), Jose and his crew did an absolutely AMAZING job with the Tuscan Decorative Concrete & the Textured Pool Deck. One thing I will mention that is very important, there are multiple steps to this process in order for it to be done right, each of which require drying time of each application of coating, and that there be dry conditions in terms of weather, so if the crew happens to work for a couple of hours one of the days and leaves, there's a reason for it, such as allowing sufficient time for the pressure washing to dry, or allowing for a base coat to dry completely before going to the next step. All you have to do is communicate with your sales rep or the crew and they will always keep you informed. We are completely satisfied and very happy with the process of working with Sun Surfaces of Orlando and how our back porch and pool deck turned out. Would give ZERO stars if that were an option. The representative that had us sign a contract for services LIED to us about what we were getting, filled out his form wrong which means we received the wrong product, waited TEN WEEKS for project to start after being quoted 6-8 weeks, we received HORRIBLE customer service from the labor crew and management came to our house and admitted everything was done incorrectly but then informed us they would not pay to replace it. They told us we would have to pay for the repair if we wanted it fixed. One of the worst experiences of my life. Please do not trust these people with your money or your time. read more

We had a disastrous experience with Sun Surfaces of Orlando.  It took 6 months for installation, they could not match color board sample so after multiple attempts and many many layers of product we were forced to agree to allow them to use acrylic paint instead of tuscan finish to achieve acceptable color. Soon after clear coat was applied it turned a milky color which eventually turned a brown mildew-ish color. Then 7 months after installation the surface began blistering and peeled away when rinsed with garden hose.  Sun Surfaces of Orlando attempted to patch areas, shortly after application patched areas began peeling away.  Sun Surfaces of Orlando has not returned any of our calls and emails despite the surface still being under warranty. We contacted corporate SUNDEK but because each office is owned and operated independently they have not been of any assistance.   SAVE yourself a lot of time money and aggravation - "You stand on it and we stand behind it" - could not be farther from the truth where Sun Surfaces of Orlando / SUNDEK is concerned. Also BEWARE they do not warn you prior to install that the surface must be resealed with SUNDEK sealer EVER 2 YEARS for $1800. read more

They recently completed the floor in our lanai and it is gorgeous. Their work is outstanding. They are very neat and clean up as they go along. They were there when they said the would be and finished on time. I would highly recommend this company . read more
