I used Yelp to reach out to Hernandez Home and Landscaping and Jose Miguel responded by that same evening. He passed by today and after we agreed to the pricing, he began to work, as the rains came down. He fought the hot mess of my lawn for a good two hours and made it look majestic once more. There is a bit of the back fence left to complete but he definitely put in a massive bunch of elbow grease by himself to get it looking decent and I truly appreciate all his work.

Started this process of requesting a quote for a 10 x 12 concrete pad for a utility shed, yelp…read more Within 15 minutes I got a call from Frederick asking me about detail details and requesting that I send a picture of the area where I wanted the pad placed in my backyard. I provided a few pictures with details of what I wanted and the next day, I got a very reasonable quote to do the work. It took me a couple of days to review some other quotes and scope of work before I got back to Antonio. After I let him know he could do the work he gave me a starting date the next week. He came on time and he and two of his crew, excavated compacted, and set the forms for the concrete Poor. Because of the location of the pad, it was not possible to bring a cement mixer in, and the crew had to do it by hand. Nevertheless, they completed the work within eight hours and provided instructions to cover it when the rains came this afternoon, which they are coming. Frederick, the back office guy, and Antonio were equally professional and kept their word to do just what I asked for. I would highly recommend Antonio Barrows to do cement work for anyone. I will follow up after the pad has cured and send a picture.

Fantastic work! Above and Beyond expectations! Very fairly priced…read more I recently hired Next generation Pavers to lay Pacers over an existing ugly concrete patio. From the initial estimate to their clean-up when finished, they were completely professional, punctual, and communicative. The crew was incredibly respectful of my property, ensuring the site was neat and tidy. They were efficient hard workers, finished the project faster than I expected but didn't cut corners. In fact, they went above and beyond by cutting a few tiles for me that had nothing to do with the project. The attention to detail is remarkable--the paver cuts precise, and the look is absolutely Fantastic! If you want a trustworthy team that does exceptional work, call "Nextgen"! I cannot recommend them highly enough!

Andre was easy to work with and double checked my wife's drawings to insure everything was done to her specifications. We are very pleased with all aspects of Yellow Brick Road from start to finish. I will not hire Tom again. He gives you a reasonable quote, but beware--it seems reasonable because…read morehe does not fully understand the job. He will tell you that he does, but in my experience, he is not an experienced handyman. Tom will underestimate a job, agree to a price, and then change the price once he realizes the job is more difficult or time-consuming than he expected. I hired Tom to install a gazebo that several other experienced technicians told me would take about a day. It took Tom three days. We agreed on a set price a month before the job, but once he realized he was over his head and needed to hire an additional handyman, he put that extra cost on me. I paid the additional amount for his handyman even though I felt I shouldn't have had to, because the additional expense resulted from his lack of understanding of the job. He also tried to charge me more because the gazebo took him longer than expected, despite telling me that he was having issues understanding the instructions. The additional time and difficulty were not my fault. Tom is also very slow, and a simple project may take two to three times longer because of his inexperience. On top of that, he initially was not going to clean up the mess he left at my house after I told him I would not pay extra for the additional time. Thankfully, he eventually cleaned it up with my help. Tom will give you one price and, if he runs into difficulties due to his inexperience, ask for more money and change the original quote. DO NOT HIRE HIM, and do not rely on his quoted price or claimed experience. Trust me, you will regret it.
