I provided a few pictures with details of what I wanted and the next day, I got a very reasonable quote to do the work. It took me a couple of days to review some other quotes and scope of work before I got back to Antonio. After I let him know he could do the work he gave me a starting date the next week. He came on time and he and two of his crew, excavated compacted, and set the forms for the concrete Poor. Because of the location of the pad, it was not possible to bring a cement mixer in, and the crew had to do it by hand. Nevertheless, they completed the work within eight hours and provided instructions to cover it when the rains came this afternoon, which they are coming. Frederick, the back office guy, and Antonio were equally professional and kept their word to do just what I asked for. I would highly recommend Antonio Barrows to do cement work for anyone. I will follow up after the pad has cured and send a picture.

Yeah, I could have spent $6k on a "rip it all out and redo", or save $4k and do just redo the spots/ areas that were really at issue. No doubt starting from scratch would result in a NEW LOOK, because, well hell, it is new! I didn't need that level of satisfaction in my old pavers. I just wanted it to look good and be tight again. I went ahead and cleared the furniture, smoker grill and storage unit off the areas to be done, even after Anthony had said his guys would move everything out, but not put it back. Fair enough. Well, Anthony pressure washed my 3 car driveway at n/c, probably because his crew wasn't moving stuff off the pavers. I like this guy!! New sand was put in all the joints and couple coats of 2 part sealer applied. We are very happy with their work, price, and his business model for helping me keep cost low, yet with very professional results. Will use again!

He is knowledgeable and took care to do a light intensity pressure washing in order to avoid damaging the pavers. The result was still excellent. We will have AOK reseal our pavers in a few months. I highly recommend AOK and feel that I have gotten both great value and a great experience each time I have engaged their services.

Removal of grass and capping of irrigation in that area 2. Grading the slope to level 3. Install turf with proper drainage and durability 4. Run electrical from our outside breaker to outlets at both ends of the cage 5. The cage shown in this link is the 35 foot cage. I choose the 70 foot cage as I had the perfect amount of room for it. The first company I engaged was a turf company called XGrass. After several weeks following up, the person that came out to my house apologized and said they wouldn't be able to make any money off our project. If you want full service do not call them. I tried another company after that but the owner wasn't able to come out because his truck broke down. I finally found a company that was up to the challenge. Synthetic Turf Solutions did an outstanding with the entire project. I knew with my requirements this project would be expensive. The owner, Ken Pool, listened to what I wanted and proposed a few design changes that fit my needs and saved me money. For the crew that removed the sod, I had a chance to observe their work. It was so hot out but they worked quickly. I bought them lunch and talked to them for a bit. They were really good / caring people. After the grass was removed Ken called me about an issue where the batting cage instructions called for 2 foot concrete footings to support the vertical poles. This spec presented us with a challenge that left us about 1 1/2 short in width. Ken gave me a few options and I told him to use his best judgment but that I didn't want any structural compromise. Their solution worked perfectly. The job took about 2 weeks but it would have taken less time if it wasn't the middle of August. The rain was relentless. For the electric work, I ended up using them to do some recessed lighting in my family room as well. They get a top rating from me for earning my complete trust and executing a job well done.
