Recently, I had lightning strike one of my Laurel Oak trees around 7pm on a Sunday night during a thunderstorm. I called Jesse and he was at my house in 30 mins to assess the damage to my trees. Right away he could tell the lightning strike killed two trees and were in danger of falling onto my house. Because this was dangerous and considered an emergency job, Jesse was able to reschedule other appointments he had the next day to coordinate having his crew at my house at 8am to remove the dangerous trees before falling on my home and endangering my family. Wow... Jesse showed up with a crew that was OUTSTANDING! In a very short time, my yard looked like a magazine display. These guys are very professional, personable, and thorough. Jesse made recommendations that were very astute. The roots of the trees were threatening my house. He had them excavated so that my foundation was safe. Those roots were raising pavers, breaking concrete. If you own any live oaks, you know how tough they are! Albert Moore is simply the best and ONLY tree service man I will ever call. I called him on a Thursday, he came out and gave me a very very fair price on Friday, then he came Monday and by the time I got home from work at 4 he had all five big trees down and was just finishing cleaning up the leaves and little branches there were left on the ground. He leveled the ground, gave me good information on what type of mulch would be good so I could use the now extra space next to my drive for vehicle parking, and even told me some nice plants that would generate a great scent based off my homes location. He is also electric certified to work around power lines and electric areas which is very important. We have used him twice, first time was a few years ago when he removed a MONSTER of a tree in my front yard that many people wouldn't even try to take down. He also helped level out the steep slope of my driveway and helped me find a quality concrete guy to build the driveway. Honestly can't say enough good things about Albert. Jesse and his crew are top notch. They were referred to me by a friend after getting a few other quotes. I had a large oak next to my 100 year old home that should have never been planted. One gigantic towering tree was rapidly and dangerously deteriorating as it towered over our house- it became 2 trees sharing one decayed base, plus we needed several other trees trimmed. Jesse and his stellar team accomplished all in one day! I met with 4 companies. Below is why we are so impressed with this company from initial meeting to job completion. Called Jesse on March 1st to inquire about having my Queen Palm trimmed. Jesse quoted me a price of $100 and we agreed to having his team come out the following day. Jesse said that his team would call me when they were on their way. Jesse requested I text him my address and I did so at 12:50pm on March 1st. In the text, I also asked about an approximate time his Team would be coming out to my house. I did not get a response back. On March 2nd, I text Jesse "was just checking that your team would be coming to my house today." I did not get a response. At 5:12pm, I called Jesse's cell phone and it went straight to voice mail. At 5:15pm I text Jesse again thanking him for wasting my day as I didn't receive a call nor text on what was happening concerning the trimming of my tree and that I would be writing a negative review. Lo and behold, I receive a call from Jesse at 5:24pm. I was not too pleased and Jesse suggested I hire another company, which I will certainly do. read more
