I got over 5 quotes for a big tree removal and some pruning of existing trees. Tree Work was the cheapest out of all. Dani was incredibly patient and understanding when it came to removing the diseased tree that would probably fall and crush the house the next time someone looked at it. He sent over the removal letter, stating we would not need a permit in advance, and waited for me to get the go ahead from the city first (as I had requested) before scheduling us in for the tree removal. I had assumed we would wait around 2 weeks at least, but they were able to schedule us in within 7 days. They kept me up to date every part of the process, without prompt, which I appreciated very much. Dani and his team started work at 7 am. They were finished around 11, which was incredibly impressive, given how much work was involved. I thought for sure it would be at least 1-2 day job but the company is much bigger than I expected so they had an entire team out plus a fleet of vehicles read to haul away any evidence of the dead tree as well as any shame I had that I waited so dangerously long. We also had a garden set up where the tree was and almost every company I had come out for quotes told me that they would try to minimize the damage to the garden. I'm not sure what dark magic they used but they avoided damaging the garden completely and even when working on the tree on the back, drove on the side of property so as to not damage it. And when all was done, they cleaned up all the logs and even went back to smooth out the dirt where their truck drove through to get rid of the tire tracks. They took better care of my property than I do lol. I expected some damage to the garden - I did not expect no damage, which was what they accomplished. Hired them to completely remove a banana palm and its roots. Quoted $500.00 because it would be so labor intensive and heavy. Also told me that he had to have guys dig roots out with shovels. They showed up, lobbed off the tops above the base and that was it. I told them I hired them to completely remove it so it will not grow back, and then he tells me they don't do that. Never would have hired them for a job I could have done. They did come back to grind it down more, but it will still grow back. Feels like a bait and switch job because this was a rental property and I was not there. read more

We had a bad storm a couple weeks ago and I had a tree fall down in my yard and on the corner of my home. I contacted Tree Work Now, I found them in the phone book, and they answered and were at my house within a couple hours to give me an estimate. They were very informative and answered all my questions as I had some concerns about a few other large trees in my yard and wanted to be prepared for hurricane season. They gave me a very good price for the removal of the fallen tree and came back an hour later to remove the tree and ensured there was no damage to my home. The discarded all of the tree and you couldn't even tell they were there. They left me an estimate for the other trees I had concerns about so I could contact them in the future if I decided to have the other trees cleaned up. Overall, I had great service and it was done the same day I called for a reasonable price. I didn't need to leave a message either as they answered immediately. So maybe the below reviewer has the wrong number?? I would definitely recommend them to a friend and plan on using them again in the future. I had several oak trees trimmed by this business. In my judgment, the trimming was minimal, and I felt ripped off for the amount of money I paid them. My opinion is that anyone who contracts with this business (or any other) should review very carefully and modify the written contract the company proposes. For example, if you want the trees trimmed completely away from the house, put that in writing. If you want the canopy lifted, state how high. If you want long limbs cut back, indicate which ones and how far. The trimmers will otherwise interpret the contract to their own specifications and hold you to it. I was disappointed. I'm really surprised that most of the good reviews of this place are hidden. I looked at google reviews before I called this company about the removal of two large palms in the front of my house and a couple of small ones inside my pool enclosure. I sent an email to the company about a quote. I got a response within 24 hours from Nick. Nick did the estimate without me even having to be at home (BIG BONUS!). I had some issues with my HOA, so I ended up repeatedly pushing off service. Despite all that, Nick was always responsive and very nice. Once we got it all scheduled, the guys came out when they were supposed to and got all of the trees down without any issues. In my pool enclosure, they even blew out all of the little pieces of wood. Both of the guys were very nice and they worked quickly. The stump grinders couldn't do the stumps in the pool enclosure (I was told that upfront, at the time of my first quote) but came out within a day or two to do the stumps in the front yard. They do leave a pile, but I was told that up front too. I'd definitely use these guys again. read more

We used Tree Work Now to trim a big oak tree in our back yard and remove another huge oak tree Their price to do both trees was better that other companies . The company is insured and the most important thing that we took in consideration is that they have Workers' Compensation coverage.(you barely find that and it's very important for homeowners) I called , left a message and Jim called me in less than 20 min. He step by my house and sent me a quote very fast. When I called back to schedule the job Jim was very professional, fast, and and found a good time to do the job according to our schedule. After we originally called to get our tree removed it took them a couple days or more to even call us back. We set the date to remove the tree and they came and removed the tree. They took out our neighbors little plant that was near by which made our neighbors upset. They told us the stump guy would be here in a couple days to grind up the stump. No call or appointment to tell us when the stump guy is coming. They just show up at 8:30 on a saturday morning and knock on the door. We didn't answer cause we were both still in bed. So they just go and grind up the stump on their own. When we finally got up after they left, we went to look at what they did. They left the huge pile of leftover groundup stump for us to clean up. Half on my neighbors lawn which they complained about everyday to them until they finally came a week later to haul away the stuff on their property. They left the big pile on our property and told us there was an extra charge to take the crap away. Paying 1300 dollars and they can't even haul the tree crap away. IMy husband and I had a tree come down on a rental property we recently inherited. There has been little to no maintenance on the trees for years. We had gotten a quote from another company but they did not contact us to set up the work. On a Thursday morning our renters called and told me one of the trees had fallen down and the root ball was pulled out of the ground, in addition it damaged some other trees. I first contacted the company that had given us the quote and they said they could not get to it for a week or more. My next stop was the yellow pages and I called every tree service listed in my area. The only company that called me back was Tree Work Now. Their arborist Dani came that evening to do a walk over of the property. He was able to tell me the names of all the trees in our yard. I had been trying to figure that out for years. Yard things are in my husband's bailiwick so Dani agreed to come back Friday evening to meet with my husband. Dani provided us with a detailed estimate and my husband hired him on the spot. His team was at our property first thing in the morning on Saturday. They were professional, skilled and quick. They left behind no trash or so much as a spare leaf. The neighbors were so impressed they to hired Tree Work Now to cut down some of their trees. Since moving to Florida we have not had the best luck with contractors. It was a true pleasure working with the professionals at Tree Work Now. I have already recommended the company to all of my friends. I am the neighbor of a customer who had a large tree cut down in late June of this summer using this company. I don't know if the neighbor wrote a review, however, you should know that this company's crew trampled through my watermelon patch ripping up vines as they stuffed tree limbs into their shredder/mulching machine which was parked (facing the wrong direction) in front of my property. Many times as they carried limbs to the shredder they brushed up against and scratched my young tree planted in my front yard-leaving scratches in the bark-damaging the tree. My watermelon was destroyed, exhaust from their shredder -which was pointed at my yard- burned and destroyed a chunk of my grass! I asked the crew three times to stop trampling my yard and vines-to no avail. They also laid rakes and tools down on my shrubbery! My neighbor was apologetic about all this company did to my front yard. I took pics and emailed them to the company and spoke to Danny who promised to come by and look at the damage. Nearly 3 months later, no reply, no follow-up visit and no offer to replace or repair. That is my experience with this company as the neighbor of a customer of this company. The company may do a good job for you, but from my unfortunate experience with this company, your neighbor's yard, shrubbery or trees may get trampled, burnt or destroyed in the process. read more
