I needed a tree thinning and 6 palms trimmed and was unhappy with the previous company we had used before. Workers were good, but salesman tried to up the second Job. A partner of Tree Amigos showed up to do the estimate, and not a sales person. I had a contract by the end of the day and the work was completed 2 days later. Crew was professional and hard working and left the property spotless. The price was more than reasonable. We will use them again in the future. read more

There is nothing worse than a person who talks up a good game especially the owner and then does not follow through with any of their promises to me the customer. This person said that they do all these wonderful services and they really care about their lawn and they really care about the customers and yet I had an appointment with that person today and they stood me up. They didn't answer any of the phone calls or text messages to them. They just didn't answer any further, so for those reasons, I leave them a one star review because Customer Service if you're in this industry should be number one not last if he wasn't gonna make the meeting he should respond to one of the text messages or phone calls or sent me a message that he wasn't gonna make it chose not to that means This guy is not worth the Services and Will always lie. It was customers. read more

UPDATED REVIEW 10-22-2024 I am returning to revise my original 5 star review from March 2023 to reflect the 1 star service we received this month. We had an incredible experience with Tree Amigos a little over a year ago, but I believe that my high rating no longer reflects this business. [TLDR; unfinished work, hidden bogus fees, no haul-away (paid for), poor customer service] Our quote to trim two large trees was highly inflated from previous years. Of course costs increase with time, this is understood, however, In March 2023 we paid $1,800 for two trees to be trimmed, 1 tree removal, and 1 stump grinding. This year we were quoted $2,800 to only trim the same two trees trimmed in 2023. After expressing reluctance with the offer, the quote was reduced to $2,400. This was helpful, but still a large portion of our family's budget. The crew showed up around 4:30p on a Saturday, trimmed one tree, and left around 6:00p. After waiting a few days, I called to ask about the timeline for the 2nd tree and was told that the the job is complete, but they could send someone to touch up if necessary. They continuously asked for payment from me but I refused to pay until the job was complete. DO NOT PAY TREE AMIGOS UNTIL YOUR JOB IS COMPLETE AND YOU ARE SATISFIED!!! A week later they sent out their crew to trim the 2nd tree, but they did not haul off any of the trimmings, and instead stacked the branches and logs on top of hurricane debris along the entire portion of my from yard where it still remains (see photo). A haul-off fee was charged and paid, so I am disappointed that logs and branches from their work are and have been sitting in our grass. Furthermore, they manually tacked on a $72 bogus "credit card fee" THAT YOU NEED TO ASK TO HAVE REMOVED! Even if you pay by check/Zelle/etc., this fee is added and you must request to have it removed. I am extremely disappointed that the customer service of what used to be a wonderful company appears to have diminished. The actual tree-trimming crew is wonderful. They do beautiful work; however, it is at the cost of working with office staff that put money first and customer satisfaction last. Read my previous review below if you are interested in our prior experience using this company. ___________________________________________________ FORMER REVIEW FROM MARCH 2023: Professional, polite, timely, affordable. I can't say enough about our great experience with Tree Amigos. We have huge live oaks that require maintenance every few years and we will only be using Tree Amigos. Excellent customer service and beautiful work. read more

As hurricane Ian was approaching I realized the oak tree above my home would surely have wound up in my living room if I had not done anything. I called Tree Amigos on Tuesday, they got started on Thursday and finished early Friday. The crew of guys who pulled this job off were nothing short of amazing - super communicative and very safety conscious. I've hired Tree Amigos in the past for smaller cleanup jobs and will continue to for as long as I am in the area. Thanks again guys! read more

They barley left a foot print. Absolutely the best crew I've ever seen!!! Louis the manager was knowledgeable and polite and very efficient. read more

These guys are awesome! We had some branches hitting our roof from the neighbors tree. Tree Amigos came out and got them trimmed back without any damage to my or my neighbors property. They even cleaned up everything! Hard to find great service like this nowadays. I highly recommend them if you just need a few branches trimmed back or a whole yard full of trees taken out. They will be on time, provide a great and safe service, and clean up everything so there is no hassle or mess for you to deal with after the fact. read more

We had 2 palm trees that were 60 feet high in front of our house. We also had a large oak tree in the front that needed a good reshaping. We wanted the palms cut down as the fronds were falling on our house and our neighbor's yards. They came out on Monday for an estimate and came back the next day to do the work. We had talked with other companies that gave us higher estimates and it would have taken at least a week to get to our job. The crew was wonderful!!!! They did the job fast and cleaned everything up. They checked with me to make I was happy with the work they did. I would use them again in a minute . Very honest and have insurance. read more

Just had a great experience with Tree Amigos. We needed ~50 ft of privacy bushes installed in our back yard in Winter Garden. I was able to get a quote on Friday and the job was done by Monday! Being new to the area, it was important for us to work with someone reliable with great pricing. They definitely hit the mark on both and I would highly recommend them. read more

Very straight up gentleman. Did a great, quick and clean job in one our commercial properties after Ian.

I called Tree Amigos before Hurricane Ian arrived to see if they could remove our Norfolk Pines that were dangerously close to our house, my neighbors house & power lines. Reda responded right away & squeezed us in same day before the hurricane arrived. Although the price was steep due to rush charges & season, I was really appreciative of the work his crew did. They were professional & made sure to take care with the tree removal- no damage was done to the house or power lines. They even cleaned up after themselves. I did have to follow up for the stump removal but they got it done asap. I do recommend using Tree Amigos but make sure to call in the off season for the best rates. I will certainly call them again for help with tree trimming in my back yard. read more

The Tree Amigos crew is fantastic! We had them trim up a total of 6 trees today. Their pricing was great, very professional, and fast! Did a great job with cleanup. 5 stars from start to finish. Highly recommend this company for all your tree needs! Thanks Reda and team! read more

Came out immediately for the quote, promised an arborist report in 3/5 days. It's been 6 weeks and each week I was promised it was coming soon. Thanks for wasting my time! read more

I called 3 different companies and Tree Amigos were the only ones that made it to my house to trim palm trees. I highly recommend. They also removed all trash from backyard. I will definitely call them again! read more

I originally gave a much higher review based on response time and price. I am changing that based on what has happened since They were to cut down a tree , grind the stump, and trim another palm tree. They didn't grind the stump, and the tree they trimmed was severely cut back. I let them know the stump wasn't removed, and was told someone would call to make an appointment to do so. No one called. I contacted them again, and received no response at all. In the meantime, the other tree that was butchered is almost dead, assuming based on how they cut it, or equipment not cleaned introducing disease. I have texted, emailed etc. Still no response at all! My mistake going with best price because it has certainly been a bad experience. Avoid using this company would be my advice read more

Called these guys for a quote and received rather quickly. They were out in less than a week and got our trees trimmed to our liking. Interactions were polite and efficient. We found they had missed a tree, but they was quickly remedied the next day without an issue (easy to happen as we asked for work to multiple trees). We will definitely use this service again when it's time for more maintenance. read more

Excellent service and reasonable prices. We needed to trim the tree in our backyard and after calling three other companies for estimates , Tree Amigos gave us the best quote by far. I was very pleased with the work they did for us. I have already recommended them to several friends and family members. read more

Still waiting for them to fix my gutter which they damaged when they dropped a huge branch on it. They said they were gonna fix it that day, but this was back in August, it's now mid October. The owner actually took me outside and showed me the damage and said he was gonna get a guy out soon. I keep texting and calling the owner and he keeps telling me that he's been on top of it but can't find his gutter guy or any other that can match it. Need to be careful with falling branches cause a few almost took out my head while I was trying to get inside my house cause they just showed up without telling me when they were coming. Their safety is not good and the job wasn't what I wanted. I asked for then to cut all around roof and instead they did something different. What do you expect for 400$. But I thought I was getting a discount(400$) for the wrong text that I received from the owner about one of his guys having a drug problem. I thought that's why it was 400$. I should said no thanks right at the wrong text but he seemed like a decent fellow, turns out I was wrong. I'm gonna go ahead and take this to the Better Business Bureau, it's been too long and I know when someone is just pulling my chain. One thing he does is what I noticed lots of businesses do now is that they "apologize" and somehow this apology fixes the problem. It doesn't, they just want to show everyone that they're doing something when they're actually not. So keep a lookout for an "apology" from this company. Ps I'll retract this and my complaint to the BBB if they ever fix my gutter. Will keep Yelpers posted. Addendum Oct 30, 2019 Got estimate from the company that actually did my gutters and Soffit and Fascia. They said that Tree Amigos had actually already called them before, so I guess he got the same monetary number they gave me 300$ minimum estimate. I called two other companies and one said minimum 300$ and another said minimum 500$. I'm adding the estimate in pics, hope it shows. Also sent it to Tree Amigos. read more

Tree Amigos did a pretty good job but make sure you get the pricing in writing before they start. Reda gave me an initial quote, then half way through the job explained that quote was only for the tree limbs over my property line. He then charged me 30% more for the tree limbs towards my neighbors yard. That should definitely be addressed when giving a quote. Then add insult to injury he added sales tax when he ran my credit card. Every quote from a landscaper I've ever had includes sales tax. There work is good just be careful for the shady business practices. read more

Excellent service. I had a huge oak tree fall on my property and take out a couple of sections of fencing along with it. Reda quickly arranged a crew to take care of an emergency job over a weekend. Great communication, prompt job completion, and awesome follow-up after the job was complete. Price was very reasonable. I couldn't ask for more, thanks! read more

Reda and his team were great. Took out a huge laurel oak from over my house. Made it look easy.

Don't use this company they do not finish the job and say they are coming and never do. I do not recommend them at all. Rip off never returned as they said they would to finish cutting the trees. And their truck dumped oil all over the road in front of my home. I do not recommend this company, read more

Great service & budget friendly! I spoke to four different tree services and ultimately chose Tree Amigos because they met by budget constraints and were able to do the job in a timely matter. I had a large oak removed and they even brought out a crane to remove it safely and effectively. They also did a great job with cleanup, they were able to haul away about 3 dump trucks worth of trimmings the same day. Thank you, we will definitely use your services again! read more

Overall a great job at a very reasonable price. They were fast and effective. Guy who trimmed the oak tree gave me a number of pointers on maintaining the health of the tree and where to cut. Only reason for not giving five stars was that the estimator Reda was trying too hard to sell me additional services. The guys took all the large stumps and branches and did a reasonable good job cleaning up the yard. read more

I called Tree Amigos on Christmas Eve to enquire about having some work done. The owner, Reda, came by the day after Christmas, did a thorough job a reviewing what needed to be done and made suggestions about work that would be helpful. The next morning the "Amigos" arrived first thing. They did a fantastic job of both trimming trees I wanted to keep as well as removing some large trees. The workers were professional, polite, and respectful. The owner came by to check on their progress, which I really appreciated. Clean up and thorough and complete. All in all a fantastic job, at a reasonable price, and I highly recommend them. read more
