Chris provided awesome customer service and did a great job installing the tint in my coupe. He patiently went through the options and was personable and friendly. My tints were put on quickly while I waited and I even connected to their WiFi to get some work done. Pricing was definitely worth the convenience and the quality of the work. I got 18% tints all around in the high performance carbon film (it's the middle tier). It is completely worth it on the hot Charlotte days and affords a good amount of privacy. Well where should I start. I went to Sun Stoppers 5 years ago for a tint job and I loved it. I even upgraded to darker tint. Referred my son and others as well. However when NC changed the laws and I could no longer get passed inspection I had to have it removed. I get it removed and now I'm ready for new tint. I see a groupon for SS, I loved their work so I bought it. Take my car to SS only for them to say per the OWNER, we are not accepting those anymore. You'll need to contact Groupon for refund. He went on the say you paid $180 for the groupon. To tint your car it would cost $200. Really? Are you serious? You're willing to lose $180 over $20. Maybe your owner needs to rethink that math. But it's okay, I got my refund and now I'll go somewhere else. read more

My new-to-me car still had the plain glass from the factory and I knew that I wanted to darken it, not just for privacy but also to block out some of those darned UV rays that seem to be everywhere these days. A quick search of the Yelp and I'd found my place after reading Sarah's review. They quoted me a price over the phone and I made an appointment, dropping of the car and heading nearby for a nibble and stalking some places to review later. When I returned, I could see that the guys had done a completely professional job that, even with the lifetime warranty, will last for quite a long while. No bubbles, no missed spots and the tinting is carefully tucked under the various gaskets and things so that it won't get peeled. A little on the spendy side and perhaps not as dark as I wanted, but I'm very pleased with the quality. read more

I've been meaning to get my windows tinted for some time. Now as we enter the summer months it's almost critical that I take some initiative and just take care of it. Black car + Black leather seats+ Sun= Very HOT in my car! My husband ran into a guy at our gym who works for Sun Stoppers and gave us a great deal to get my car tinted. I dropped it off Saturday around 10am and they had it ready in about 2 hours. The guys there did a fantastic job, and were very courteous. I'll definitely recommend Sun Stoppers to anyone. Sun Stoppers was recommended by a shop down the street from me so decided to give them a shot. They had no wait and super comfortable waiting area: ESPN and jumbo couches. Price seemed pretty good, but I've only gotten my windows tinted twice in the last 15 years. Was more or less in range in what I had paid for a similar vehicle. The tint came out great and looks to be like a very clean installation. Only took about an hour and the film quality is supposed to be great stuff. I'd definitely go back here again. read more

He gave great advise and expert opinion that helped me determine what tint to go with for my Sportwagen. Car looks better than ever with no bubbles or even noticeable edges. I was disappointed trying to get my car serviced with a tint job. I requested a quote online. The gentleman emailed me that night as for me to call to get an accurate quote. He stated that they don't make appointments and everything is first come first served. There is nothing wrong with that except that if appointments cannot be made, I expect the employees to be on site the entire work day. I was told that the store closes at 6pm. I pulled up at 4pm the very next day; because I work during the day like a regular person. There was a sign on the door that the gentleman "went out for supplies" and to call the number. I called the number and he stated that he won't return for the rest of the day. Very disappointing. Traffic is too horrible for me to waist time getting in it to only find out that the employee left early for the day. Complete inconvenience. Making appointments allows you to see when you have free time to do a supply run! I wish they would have that philosophy. read more

After having one of my vehicle done here before I figured I take anyone called to get a quote and received the worst customer service ever the manager hung up the phone on me and gave me a attitude for no apparent reason. To add injury to insult I contacted the owner and immediately he starts telling how good of a guy he was and how they play football together and he was just frustrated cause it was a hot day and they where busy. So basically it's okay to be rude to the customer as long as it is 90 degrees outside he didn't do anything to rectify the situation I would never spend another penny there every again I'm upset that I got my first car done there wish I could get my money back that's how violated I felt as a customer. read more

They sold a product and service to my wife and I with great promises and apparent professionalism, but didn't deliver. Very friendly staff, BUT, when they failed to deliver to our small family owned business a reliable product with 'apparent guarantee' they THEY DIDN'T STAND BEHIND IT! Nice place to visit, but seems like if you are a business owner, like my wife and I are, then I would go to a more professional operation and get more quality & reliable service. The operator of the two stores we worked with even thought that the franchise owner, Mike was 'just into making money' Telling my wife, "I will see what I can do, but I don't think he will go for it" when he tried to help us. Seems that Mike is more more INTERESTED IN MAKING MONEY, than doing the right thing and it is NOT even a good product. Cheap and owner is dishonest. I would not go here, nor would I recommend anyone go here. They are just dishonest and don't treat people with care or decency. read more
