I would like to start off that The receptionist Dottie was very unprofessional. I got my windshield glass replaced on September 29, 2025 made a warranty claim on September 30, 2025 which I never got a claim number until I went to the location so they can see the claim on October 1, 2025 very unprofessional . They said they didn't damage my vehicle and clearly I have pictures. They taped my windshield all the way up told my wife if we have any molding issues around my windshield please come back. We have a lifetime warranty, but failed to tell us that they damage our trim and our molding They scratch my paint and they said they did not do it. That wasn't the outcome I was expecting after the technician mentioned, he been doing glass installation for over 35 years. I asked for a district manager number. They said they're not allowed to give the number out which I know he has an office number to be reached on very, very, very very unprofessional. I called customer service very unprofessional. I went there because they did one of my vehicles over 10 years ago and I never had an issue so that's what drove me to go back but will I referred them to anyone right now no Will I go back hell no....... if I can give zero stars based on customer service, I would. just simple conversation would've fix the whole thing when it happened during installation always let the customer know what's going on. Needed a windshield as there appears to be a magnet on my car for rocks. 3rd replacement since I've owned it... smh.... Submitted a request for a quote online and someone from the call center called me the next day. A little pushy about getting me on the schedule. But hey, that's her job and I need to get it done. Had gotten a quote from Safelite, but Auto Glass Now was $120 cheaper. Who do you think I went with??? Arrived to be greeted in an extremely friendly manner, small waiting room. Asked if they had Wi-Fi so I could log onto work, but they didn't. That was probably my biggest knock. Took about 2hrs. Francine/Francis (can't remember which) is the girl behind the desk. I would listen as she would deal with others in person & on the phone and her knowledge of product and customer services skills are exceptional. This one customer was very rude to her to the point where I wanted to tell him to chill out. But she stayed calm and gracefully apologized. He still left due to being impatient, but it was top notch defusing the situation and not reacting to ignorance. I also checked for any damage, scratches, etc.... that I can spot very easily, and I didn't see any. They did a really good job. I had to have a windshield replaced t the Albemarle Rd site. Made the appointment 2 days left in advance after they made sure they had windshield in stock. Took an 8am appointment. Once I arrived and they had started the removal process of broken shield they realized the replacement in stock was cracked! They had the order a new one and said it would be there around 10:30 am. I had to sit and wait due to then removing the broken one. The windshield came around 12pm. They didn't offer any accommodations or discounts on my repairs. I would not recommend this company to anyone. read more

Our windshield got cracked by a rock while we were driving on the highway, so it was in need of repair. I called my favorite bossy shop, bit they didn't do windshield repair, so they recommended this place. If the crack is bigger than the size of a credit card, the crack can't be repaired and the windshield has to be replaced. They can do repairs the same day, but you need an appointment to get it replaced so they can order the glass. They will give you a quote over the phone and it was way cheaper than other places which was really nice. Our experience with their customer service was not good. We made an appointment and when we showed up for it, they decided to tell us they didn't have the glass. They couldn't remember who they ordered it from and they didn't call us ahead of time to tell us they didn't have it. We made a new appointment for a week later. The day before that appointment, they called to tell us they didn't have the glass even though we were told they ordered it. They seem to be very unorganized because when they talked to the person that made the appointment, they had ordered it and did have the glass, but no one wrote it down. When we got there for our appointment, we had to wait 45 minutes for them to start working on it. I'm not sure why they do appointments if they don't use them appropriately. The waiting area is not nice. It's not finished and it's not a real room, so it's fairly exposed to the temperature outside. The bathrooms also weren't nice. As i waited in the lobby to speak with the representive helping another customer on the phone she again stated it would be an hour. After her conversation I was told that someone called out which i understand but why still give people an hour quote time knowing it's not realistic. Had my front windshield replaced on a grand Marquis, had it replaced quickly and I wasn't sitting around all day. Unfortunately within 5-10 minutes of leaving I noticed a very large and obvious air leak on the bottom on the glass and it was also making a constant violent vibrating noise. I called next day under the impression I had the warranty as I wasn't told otherwise before I left, to my surprise I was told my warranty was voided without my knowledge because of "rust near the top of the window ledge" even tho the leak and vibration was coming from the bottom of the glass. They said they would take a look anyway and ended up replacing the glass and resealing it after 3 different trips over there. Unsurprisingly there was still issues, the vibration/ loud tapping noise was because they broke the plastic windshield wiper cover in half and then instead of telling me or making an attempt to actually fix it they used self tapping screws and actually bolted it back onto my cars frame/body panels, one of the self tappers had come lose and that's what was rattling. I haven't ever used safelite but I can promise it's better then whatever this crap is, go there and safe yourself! read more

Made an appointment for a cracked windshield and was told they would come to me for $60 as long as the crack was no longer than a dollar bill. The tech was a no call no show. Called back and was told the tech would call me with and ETA. Never received a call. Finally got in touch with the local shop and was told the call center was not giving the correct information. The lady said they only come to the customer for installations, the website says otherwise. She told me I would get a $40 discount for my troubles making the total $60. Apparently I was quoted the wrong price as well. So we made another appointment to come in. Upon arrival the tech looked at my windshield and stated that they only repair damages of an inch and a quarter in diameter. I informed him that I was I was told as long as it's not bigger than a dollar bill it could be repaired, he said to me that there was no way I was told that and that I would need a new windshield. If I could give them 0 stars I would. They "fixed" the window of my car in the allotted time. Got home and noticed multiple spots that were damaged inside of my vehicle afterwards, including the dashboard and headlight that were NOT there prior to service. Once inspecting the windshield closer it's not even inside of the track and sealed. How can you call yourself an auto glass place and not properly install a windshield? When contacting them, nobody was helpful in telling me my next steps. When brought in, they tried to say the windshield was ok even though there's an air gap where it is not sealed. Won't schedule an appointment for the weekend to accommodate my schedule. This place is a nightmare. Disgraceful to call yourself a business. read more

Even though the receptionist Victoria was absolutely amazing. The amount of disrespect "Jess" gave me made me want to walk out the immediately, unfortunately I already gave my keys to the people. The people in this shop are rude and incompetent. They weren't able to fix the door after broken glass got stuck in the actuator. After fixing it myself, I discovered that they didn't replace the watershield in my door. The watershield protects against moisture getting into the equipment and helps muffle any noise from the outside. Without it, there is a significant rattle at all times. The shop claims this is unnecessary and "usually throws those out." Also, the wait took twice as long as they claimed (for every customer I witnessed interactions with). I will not be back and encourage other to avoid this shop at all costs. TLDR: The shop didn't replace a $65 part claiming it was "unnecessary" and refused to help fix an issue caused by broken glass. Also, the job will take at least 3 hours opposed to the 1 to 1.5 hours they claim. read more

Very happy with the amount paid, at least $125 less than the quote I got from SafeLight auto glass. Would definitely recommend this shop to anyone needing replacement glass for their vehicle. I called auto glass now on Freedom Drive in Charlotte to have my windshield replaced. They set my appointment for 10 am on a Thursday. I called Wednesday evening to confirm the time and place. When I arrived on Thursday the clerk told me my truck won't fit in there building so they won't replace the glass. Siting the moister in the air will not allow the glue to set. It took an hour to drive there. I asked him why they didnt tell me this when I called or why they didnt call me to postpone. I got deer in the headlights. We then set up for their mobile guy to come to me the next day, there is an awning he can work under. On my way home I thought the awning doesn't solve moister in the air problem. Friday the guy shows up and before he does anything he tells me bad news we can't do it because there is a visor over the window. A stock part of the truck . Not something added on. This window has been replaced 2 other times with never the visor being mentioned. I offered to take it off, 6 bolts wont take but 5 minutes to remove. He then tells me hes not going to do the job because hes not comfortable about the visor. Total waste of time. I called the call center and the woman gives me a bunch of excuses about the tech not being comfortable with the job. Then I blew up on her. What do you expect. you wasted all that time. My windshield was broken so I went here to have it replaced. After research it was the cheapest option. I got there at 11:30 AM and did not leave until 4:00 PM. They were quite busy and I fully understood. They did give me the option to drop the car off and leave but i was not aware of that ahead of time to make arrangements. The other day, someone broke the glass in my car's door. It was definitely not a good start to my day, having to call the insurance, file a police report, and find a place to get it repaired. Came here to replace the back sliding window for my truck, was told to come back at 3 pm for the install - had a friend follow me all the way there to take me back once it was done... When we arrived they said the window wasn't there and that they tried calling me - no missed calls, pretty sure they didn't have their shit together. So we had to leave. They then said to come back monday and that the ordered window would be in no later then noon- come monday, they told me they didn't have the window and wouldn't have it, at all. I came home this morning to find a dime-sized chip on my windshield. A guy who runs a body shop recommended these guys, so I took my car down there. The manager took one look at it and noticed a minute crack on the side of the chip--enough that he told me it wasn't fixable, and I'd have to eventually replace it. He gave me a quote that was at least $50 cheaper than what I'd have to pay taking it to the dealer or to Safelite. Very courteous and professional--definitely worth the drive. read more

I had a crack in my windsheild, asked around with friends and was told to call these guys. They gave me a quick quote on the phone and it was $70 cheaper than the company my insurance company sent me to. I made an appt, showed at my scheduled time and was in & out in less than 1 hour. I was also very inpressed with the manner the woman and guy working the counter handled me and other customers, on the phone and in person. I wish I had made a note of their names but it was Friday, 2/22/13 around 3 PM. They know who they are. GREAT JOB folks! I have been to another location in Winston-Salem to have my windshield replaced in the past and they handled things so much differently. The biggest difference is that the location in Charlotte employee's have bad communication skills with the customers. I called in prior to my visit to ensure they had the windshield in stock when I arrived the next day! When I arrived, I gave my name and phone number and they asked for my keys. Never once was I informed about how many cars were in from of me or anything. If I didn't ask they we're telling me anything. I arrived just before 10am and I waited 2 hours before I had to go and ask what was going on with my vehicle. I heard them say they had 4 techs working that day but only saw two of them working at a time. If ainhadnt spoke up for myself, I would probably still be sitting in there until close waiting for them to do the job. I then waited another 2 hours to have my car windshield replaced ‍. So needless to say after sitting in the shop for four hours I don't recommend anyone to plan on doing anything the rest of the day if you have to use this window repair location. I've always learned that conversation rules the nation but these people struggle in that area. Never again. I'll take an hour plus drive to Winston-Salem in the future. Ok byeeeee read more

This company is the absolute worst to work with. I've been in the auto industry for over 23 years and have never received such terrible customer service from a vendor. The gentleman Paul I spoke to on two separate occasions has been less than helpful and told me to take my business elsewhere after getting defensive because I was asking simple questions since I'm not familiar with windshields. Apparently when you question them after receiving a quote from another glass company they frown upon that. They clearly don't want you to price match them and when you do they tell you to take your business elsewhere. My business will be going to Carolina Auto Glass from now on. My husband called & made an appointment for yesterday, at his office, as I had the day off & could drive up there. The appointment time quoted was between 12 & 1. At 12:30 my husband called the tech for the eta, & was then told it wouldn't be until after 2. Well, I called back & spoke with Alisha to reschedule for the next day (today) & gave her my work address, as I would be there all day, so they had plenty of time to show up. I called again this morning to get an eta, make sure she still had me marked down for the right place, & she said she would have a technician call me with a time. As discussed, a tech called & said he would be here 'after lunch'. My husband also received a call from a tech, about 30 minutes after, who was planning on meeting him where someone was supposed to meet me yesterday. I called & spoke with Alisha yet again to make sure that the address I was at was clear, & someone would in fact be coming to the right place. A completely different tech than the one that called me showed up. I greeted him, & it was quickly obvious that he was pretty rough around the edges. He informed me that the guy that was supposed to meet me yesterday was fired, & shook his head about people not wanting to do their job. When he was done, I paid, signed his paperwork, & he proceeded to leave. On his way out, he turned to me & said, "You know you just signed & paid for something you NEVER looked at." Dude, I just watched everything you did. You just informed me that the paper I am now holding in my hand serves as a warranty, should anything be wrong with your workmanship. What exactly is it that I NEVER looked at? After he left, I inspected my vehicle further. His work looks fantastic. He did great. He did it in less than an hour. Is that what you wanted me to checkout before I paid you? Is part of your job customer service? Why did you not ask me to walk out with you & take a super close look at your handiwork if thats what you think I should've done right after you explained the warranty that insures I am covered, should you of done something wrong? Or were you just trying to get a kick out of running your mouth, even after all of the confusion that caused me to have to reschedule my appointment in the first place? If you have the patience to reschedule, & call multiple times to make sure that they know where they are supposed to be when they meet you, then sure, I'd recommend this place, as the work is superb. I had my windshield replaced by one of the professional techs. This guy did a phenomenal job on my 2009 Impala and managed to complete removal/installation of my damaged windshield well under the quoted time. The staff at the Albermare location were very helpful and seem to have an abundance of energy. The assistant manager was very helpful and I witness how she was able to maintain her professionalism while resolving an issue with an upset client (client was a bit disrespectful), whom had work done on his car a few days prior to my appointment. Overall I had a wonderful experience there and would use them for future appointments as we as refer others. I just wished the had a public Wi-Fi for waiting guests. so the work was alright and the price but my dash was scratched they sat all over my personal belongings bending some stuff up the receptionist came out and sat on my headlight and started talking about my "racecar". so much silicon was used that it oozed inside my car, but what really made me mad is how carelessly they swung their tools around scratching my paint very badly and now everything I get in my car I have to see it and it makes me madder and madder everytime I see it. read more
