I had my Ford Raptor R treated with PPF and ceramic coating in January. Brian was highly professional. He walked me through the process and explained key protection differences for trucks versus cars. He never pushed unnecessary upsells. The results are excellent, and I highly recommend this family-owned business where customer satisfaction truly matters. read more

Exclusive just did my new to me 2012 GLK350 and their attention to detail and execution of full window tint and partial paint protection film of the front end is top notch. Exclusive has done 2 other cars for me since 2018 and are consistently excellent and stand by their services. Window tint has held up very well as has my Llumar paint protection film over the past 8 years and would highly recommend their services if you keep your cars at least 100k miles and/or you want the peace of mind of protection from most highway rock chips making contact with your front end. read more

I had an unfortunate experience with Bryan who apparently is the manager. I am sad to experience this, despite all the positive reviews for his business. I had inquired to get my windows tinted, as I was interested in the Xpel prime XR for my vehicle. Of course, I had done my research for different shops that can perform the same job. Again, it was unfortunate that I had experienced this interaction as part of my research. Upon my comparison of inquiries of different locations (even more reputable shops), Brian had significantly overcharged for his tinting service. Upon asking for a breakdown of his quote, he immediately declined proceeding further, prompting a high suspicion of customer preying and targeting for those who did not do their diligence and research. I hope this helps everyone. read more

I don't trust just anyone with my vehicle- especially not a 2026 E450 Mercedes Benz. That's why I only go to Exclusive Paint Protection, and under no circumstances would I ever take my car anywhere else. They tinted my windows to absolute perfection. Do NOT Go Anywhere Else! Brian is your Man. We had already looked at his website while waiting on our new car to arrive. The day we picked up our car his trailer pulled in to take possession of another clients so we figured that was a good sign. Our sales advisor also said they couldn't recommend anyone through their dealership but said it would be a great idea to go get his number and that Brian was there often to pick up cars. So a few days later we set up for full ceramic tint and partial wrap. Glad to see when we went to drop off the car there were 3 other Tesla's having similar services. Brian explained to us all options and helped us decide what we needed for our car. Picked it up several days later and it was PERFECT! Great Work! Great Customer Service- so if you have a luxury car this is the place for you- Thank me later and give these guys your business Today. read more

I can't say enough good things about Exclusive Detail and Brian Brown. Unlike some reviews you see about places that are written during the honeymoon phase of getting work done, this review is written with the hindsight of the past year. The wrap has held up amazingly well and looks just a good as the day Brian installed it. He really knows his stuff and is very easy to work with. This was a hassle-free experience, reasonably priced, with excellent workmanship. We discussed what we wanted done, the options available for it, and bounced ideas off each other to find the perfect outcome. I will not hesitate to have Brian work on my next car. I'm including some photos of just how great the car turned out. Take a look, and then remember that underneath it all, the car is solid black. You wouldn't be able to tell if I didn't point it out. read more

First off, support small businesses! Second, had my TM3LR AWD done with PPF, window tint and ceramic coating over 3 years ago. The car still looks like new! Getting ready to sell but on one of my side mirrors needed to have the PPF replaced since someone cut into it with a key. Had Tesla replace it but needed PPF re-applied to it. Brian was nice enough to fit me in and replace the PPF. Brian always responds timely to my calls and emails and a true professional. Once I get my new Tesla MYLR AWD I will be bringing it back to him for the same treatments. read more

High quality workmanship, amazing professionalism and exceptional honesty and integrity. Whether you have a high-end luxury car or a set of wheels that you cherish, Exclusive Detail will take phenomenal care of you and your vehicle. I first Exclusive detail when looking for my window on my Durango to be re-tinted after a recent car burglary. The job was done well and for more than a reasonable cost. Fast forward to my purchase of my 2014 Aston Martin Vantage, (Olivia), and I call up Brian again to see what he can do to help protect the paint. Looking at the type of super cars he has worked on, I knew he had a strong reputation for doing exceptional work and I wanted Brian to do the same for my Aston. It was the weekend, and Brian was in the shop waiting for a delivery. Brian showed me his spotless shop, the various cars and stages of work on some of the vehicles he had at the time and explained to me the pros and cons of film protection vs ceramic coating. Aside from just the tour, Brian is a great and personable guy on top of it, I like him, we need to grab a drink some time. I was sold! My Vantage now has near complete coverage of protective clear film covering the front, hood, front fenders, rocker panels, door, tonneau cover, trunk, and portion of lower rear fender and rear bumper. Thank you Brian, Olivia is look'n amazing!!! read more

TL:DR: Stop reading reviews and pick up the phone and call Brian at Exclusive Detail. Brian will tell you what you need and not OVERSELL you. He will help you make an informed decision as well as his friendly staff. These guys are the best. Let me start with I am dumb when it comes to cars, but I am good at using google. One of the biggest complaints about Tesla is bad paint issues. Sounds crazy that a 50K+ car has paint issues but if you look it up there are many people with paint issues. Therefore, I decided to give a few shops a call, many shops just treated me like I was dumb and didn't really explain things to me. This is when I called Exclusive Detail. Brian answered the phone and took over an hour explaining things to me. Here I was a potential customer not even someone he knew but he spent the time to help me decide. Let me also state that I went in thinking that I wanted to do the whole car wrapped in PPF, Brian talked me out of this. I was thinking to myself why? He helped me understand that it is "more then I need" of course he stated he would do anything I want but it would be overkill for what I am doing with the car. This calls to his overall character, he's not in it for the money he's here to help you with a service. He invited me to his shop to come take a look, I was very unsure of all this stuff, and I did not want to spend lots of money to just be unsatisfied. I took Brian up on his offer and made a trip to his shop. Let me tell you, he has some cars there... I am not even a car guy but there where a few cars that were worth more than my home! When I was at the shop, he spent another hour with me (you can tell he was busy because a few times a call came in that he had to take) but he never once made me feel like I was wasting his time. He answered all my really dumb questions as well as made me feel comfortable with the plan with my car. I had the privilege of meeting a few of his staff as well, all very nice and professional. He explained every detail (no pun intended) of the process and helped me understand exactly what to do. After much though I decided to go with exactly what Brian recommended as he already told me what would be overkill for my car, his honestly lead me to trust his judgment. I am a working-class guy I don't have a 500K car that needs to be preserved and he helped me decide what was RIGHT FOR ME. True customer service and class. The work he provided was AMAZING, I mean literally nicer than when it came out of the dealer. His work and attention to detail was over the top that I can't say about many businesses today. Even a month later AFTER my service was done on my car, I called Exclusive Detail and Brian helped me understand exactly how to care for my newly finished car. He still is happy to talk to me on the phone whenever I have questions about my car (even not related to PPF!). I am very glad that I chose Exclusive read more

They no longer offer car wraps so I cannot really rate them.

After obtaining a 'FAIL' on my NC inspection for my tinted windows being too dark, although I passed last year, I immediately Yelped tint removal and came across Exclusive Detail and Tint. I made a call and spoke with Brian, who was very helpful. He even said come on over and they would take care of me that afternoon. Although the location is off the beaten path, Brian got me there with no problem. After waiting a few minutes my car was pulled in and within one hour the tint was removed and I was ready to go...Just in time to get back to the NC inspection center, at which time I passed. Before leaving I did talk to Brian about replacing the tint, with NC approved levels, obtained pricing and will definitely return. Service was on point and they did a great job! read more

I had an appointment this morning w/ Brian, to discuss tinting my new-to-me '05 MINI that I'm refreshing. He spent a good 20+ minutes with me, walking around the car and discussing my needs. His pricing is fair and he uses good materials (computer-cut, ceramic Lumar film). Some of the work he couldn't do, but he recommended a few shops to me that could get the work done. I'll be scheduling the tint work soon, feeling confident in the result. I'll post back with pics. ---- EDIT ---- I dropped off the MINI early yesterday morning and picked it up, as promised, around 5pm (I wasn't in a hurry - Uber'd home to get some work done). The price was exactly what was estimated and I'm very happy with the tint. Brian uses 40% Lumar ceramic tint (so it's well on the safe side of legal in North Carolina) and it's a very nice pure black color (not the silver or grey/green I've had before). The quality of the work is great... no dust or bubbles to be seen so far and all the cuts are smooth. Very nice work. -- EDIT -- I came back to make a note that Brian pointed me in a good direction for some paint and body work that needed to be done, to Import Paint and Body over on E. Independence. Thanks, Brian. The tint is still holding up beautifully, some 4-5 months later. read more

I will not be back, and I'm sure Brian won't miss me or care about it, probably would prefer it to be that way. I went here in November after I bought my altima to have my windows tinted. I was living in SC and was planning on moving into NC after the new year. Well I recently went to have my car inspected and it did not pass for the tint being too dark. I immediately called Brian and he asked that I bring it in to have a look. When I got there, he wanted to drive me to work, drop me off, and take my car to have it inspected himself. Uh yeah, that is not happening, so I drove us to one of his friends places to have the tint inspected, but his tester did not have working batteries, he just told Brian it would be too dark. If Brian does tint, why does he not have his own tester?? As we were going back to the shop, he explained how it was not his fault and that he would give me a deal to not charge me for the removal, just the new tint. While that's great that I'm getting a "deal" and I appreciate that, it would have been nice to know about the NC/SC differences before when I was originally getting it done as I would have gone with NC tint to begin with and I would not have to worry about a "deal". I make an appointment for Friday morning and show up with my car. He tells me I am going to have to bring it back another day. Really?? Well this is inconvenient for me!! His response: "How so?? Did you ever think about why you need to bring it back? I have two cars that are taking longer than expected and I have 7-8 cars waiting to be taken care of." Okay and? A simple, yet customer friendly courteous response would have been, "Megan, I'm sorry for then inconvenience, I overbooked.". Oh no, it's too much for Brian to take any responsibility or blame, an appology would have gone a long way. I took my car back yesterday to be done, not any kind of friendliness, apology for last week, thanks for your business (or me sending him business in the past), etc. from Brian. I'm glad it is all done as I will never go back. Work is okay, but customer service goes a long way with the work, and frankly, he doesn't have it. read more

Brought my new Tesla for PPF, ceramic and window tint. They did an immaculate job. Brian, the owner, is very friendly and great to work with. If you're in the Charlotte area and need any detailing services, Exclusive Detail won't disappoint. read more

Great service and location next to the light rail! Brian runs a great shop for both detailing and also window tinting. I have had my suv detailed before and it looks amazing. Paid attention to all the nooks and crannies inside, and the paint looked even better than before. For tint work, I just had the ceramic tint applied. I was leaning towards the more expensive ceramic tint, and Brian did a great job explaining the difference for heat resistance. He demonstrated with a heat lamp so you could feel the difference. Finally, as others have reviewed before, Brian and his staff are very professional. He is also very personable and easy to deal with. Look forward to the next detail! read more

SUPERIOR honest service wth integrity at hello! Just called (based off of Yelp reviews) to get a quote on a car detail before I get it appraised. Spoke to Brian and told him what I wanted. He shared that getting the car detailed really won't help with appraisal value because the dealer will do it anyway. Said he'd tell his sister the same thing as there is no return for me in doing so and when he provides a service he wants to make sure there is value added. I appreciate his transparency and honesty. I will def take my next vehicle to him and strongly encourage those reading these words to do so as well! Thanks Brian! read more

Exclusive detail will rip you off! Don't go there.. Don't under any circumstances pay-up-front, they are very capable of doing a good-job, but if there is any bubble you are unhappy with, the business will delay fixing it for a long long time.. Brian, the Manager/Owner and usually the only staff member at the shop is an Expert Tinter for sure! He has a lot of experience with exotic cars and detailing. The trouble is, you see, he has got a serious attitude and anger-management problem! So if everything goes smoothly - and he has the time and supplies in stock - he will hook you up and crack a funny joke or two; on the contrary, if there is any complaint or critic to this guy's work, he will get on his High-Horse and stay there, screwing you at every corner. What started out as a routine (and quick response time) tint job, turned into a nightmare: first, he did a sloppy job on my rear window (by rushing to get the most clients out the door), when I politely asked him to redo it, he said he was busy until next week! When I took time off from work, to come in next week, he said: "sorry, I actually don't have the supplies in stock, come back next week". When I came back next next week, he asked for additional money upfront, I gave it to him and he did a solid job redoing my rear window, but forgot to apply the front visor strip - when I asked him to finish the job the same day I came to pick up my car, he said "Sorry, I'm going on vacation for the next two weeks, come back then". In his defense, he actually kept his word! and finished the front visor strip two weeks later (and did a good job). Of course it still took him over a month to fix his original sloppy work, and he overcharged me a hefty amount for fixing his own errors. Would NOT RECOMMEND to get involved with this guy! read more

I own a 1966 GT40 MK1 and wouldn't trust my car to anyone in Charlotte other than Brian. Over the last six months I've had him install paint protection film, color correct my paint, and apply opts-coat ceramic paint protection. My car has never looked better. Brian has an incredible attention to detail and truly cares about his customers. His focus is on doing the job right rather than up-selling services that a customer may not need. If you own a high-end or investment grade car, Brian will be a great resource for you. read more

This place really knows their stuff. I usually like to wash my car myself, but I just can't do anything nearly as well as they do. I got the high-end detail done on my white 2008 BMW M3, and I've never seen it so bright. It's like looking into a mirror. Brian, the owner, also advised me on how to take care of a few chips and scratches that the car has been "generously given" in parking lots. He was able to completely remove a few scratches, and also fix a few chips and dings with touch-up paint. The detail work is done indoors, so there's no worry about outdoor issues. There's only one place I would take my car in Charlotte if I'm not doing it myself, and this is it. Only down side is that I can't walk to the office after I drop the car off, but if I schedule ahead they can usually give me a ride. read more

Let me just start off saying Brian does a terrific job with car detailing and window tinting. I took my car to his shop today and he was very kind.and generous. He let me know the type of tints that they carry and which would be best for my car. I was in and out within over an hour. I would highly recommend anybody that wat their vehicles tinting to go to him. He will leave you with a tremendous smile on your face after you see the work detail he did on your vehicle. I will definitely go back to to him to get more work done. Good job Brian. read more

This review is long overdue. Sorry, Brian! I had just purchased a used car and wasn't happy with the swirlmarks on it. I wanted a fresh start and so I seeked out a reputable detailer. I sent several quote requests from multiple detailers. Brian immediately responded to me and said he could see me the very next day. I met him and he gave me a quote for interior and exterior. I accepted it and was happy with his customer service skills, his knowledge in auto detailing, the price, and the fact that he did not belittle any of his other competitors. In fact, he complimented them when I brought up their names and who else I got quotes from. I knew I could trust him. Brian kept me updated with the process by posting my car on his social media pages. It was great!! I picked up my car and was so happy with the results. There was a tiny muddy spot on the vents where the gas pedal was and I was hoping they didn't overlook it and they did not! It was spotless inside and out. The day after I picked up my car, I noticed white lines that appeared like scratches on the side of the car that wouldn't come off. I contacted Brian and he said to being it in after I got off work and he would take a look at it. I did and he fixed it right away. Turned out it was just wax that they had missed. Before I left, he gave me some tips on how to maintain my car and a sample bottle to restore the black trims on my car if it ever looses its color. Brian is the best. I've been telling all my friends and family about him and Exclusive Detail. You won't regret it! read more

My car was a disaster when I brought it in to Brian's Exclusive Detail. I travel long distance quite frequently, so there was a lot of dirt and bugs all over it. There were also scratches all over the hood that I had been told probably warranted a total paint job. After bringing my car in to Brian's, it literally looks like a new car. He did an amazing job for what I thought was a very fair price. The scratches are completely gone and every inch of the interior was completely clean. He kept me updated during the detail process and never did anything without checking with me first. I also like that he didn't give me a hard time about the state of my car, just gave me some tips for how to maintain it going forward. Also helps that his garage is right off of the light rail, so if you're like me and you work uptown, it's easy to drop the car off and then pick it up at the end of the day. read more

From the moment of my window tinting inquiry, they were responsive. They offered a Christmas discount, which was awesome. I brought my car in same day. They washed my car in addition to tinting while I waited (less than 2 hours). Brian is great - friendly and trustworthy. The industrial warehouse is somewhat remote feeling but the waiting room is nice and secure. Easy location off Old Pineville Road and Woodlawn. Tinting comes with warranty. Well done Brian. read more

Brian and his team did amazing work on my black 2001 BMW Z3 Coupe! 13 years of oxidation, swirls, and scratches were magically lifted via polishing and paint touch up and whatever else Brian did to give the car a true show-room quality look. Brian took the time to discuss pros and cons of different tint option, as well as what percentage of tint would meet my needs and capture the look I wanted. I went with 40% Ceramic film and the application was flawless! I've had many of my other vehicles "detailed" at dealerships, car washes, and Detailing by Tim in Charlotte; as well as tint application through Autoshield & Sunstoppers and I regret that I wasn't referred to Brian's Exclusive detail earlier! Unmatched professionalism, quality, and trust! Highly Recommended! read more
