Go ECM

I bought a tipm from them the first one worked for about 14 months then went bad they replaced it…read moreunder warranty it only lasted about 2 weeks and did the same thing again and they have tried 2 more times since then . They kept it this last time for over a week and told me that there was nothing wrong with it but my tail lights and parking lights still do not work I don't think they even checked it the last 2 times so I will never do business with them again and definitely won't recommend them to anyone else !!! Definitely not happy with them * only because it has to have a star rating

I don't get it. GoECM did the hard part - they shipped me a rebuilt TIPM (Totally Integrated Power…read moreModule) that totally resolved the problems I had with my 2012 Dodge Durango. And they charged me a $100 core charge, which was supposed to be refunded when I returned my TIPM. I did my part - returned it (with all fuses and relays still installed), tracked it, and saw delivery confirmed to GoECM. Then... nothing. They didn't do the easy part! No core charge credited to my credit card, no "the core you returned wasn't rebuildable" message, in fact no communication of any kind, for weeks. So, finally I filed a credit card dispute. And instead of answering it or explaining themselves, they just let it expire without answering, which took about 6 weeks in total. Finally, I have my core charge back about 4 months after I first ordered the TIPM. So disappointing that I could have been writing a glowing review, but instead I'm really unhappy that they tried not to give me my core charge back.

After finding out the ECM on my 2013 Ford F-150 went out, I ordered an ECM from this company. I was…read moretold the fastest route to get my truck running was to order a new one from them, which would be pre-programmed to my truck and a locksmith with the right program would be able to get it running. This is where the first problems started. I paid for overnight shipping and the ECU didn't arrive until 6 days later. Granted, the part had to be shipped to them, flashed, then shipped to me. This should have arrive in a few business days at most, versus 5 business days. Able, the manager indicated that there was a shipping issue from their supplier. They did not refund my the overnight shipping cost. The second issue was, the ECM was not flashed to my VIN as promised. When I called them about this issue, they indicated that they were clear that the dealer would need to program it to my VIN, as they didn't have the capability to flash the ECM to the VIN. I wouldn't have ordered this part, as I could have had the ECM from my truck repaired and sent back to me much more quickly. The next issue arrived when the ECM was found to either be bad, or not able to be programmed to my truck because the part numbers did not match. Auto ECM Electronics sent me the wrong computer for my truck, as this ECM was from a 2013 Ford F-150 XLT versus the F-150 Lariat I own. The dealer indicated that the ECM was not the correct part, they couldn't program it to make the vehicle run correctly and the truck would only run on 3 cylinders due to many codes. I called them, and they indicated they would take the return if I sent them back "proof" that is was their part, and not my truck. I purchased a 125 dollar (versus the 370 with overnight shipping form Auto ECM) from a junkyard, which programmed fine and the truck now runs perfectly. Auto Ecm is refusing to refund me as they are saying that somehow the ECM they provided was shorted out during installation. This wouldn't make sense, as nothing had changed between installing their ECM and the Junkyard ECM that worked fine. They indicated that it had been tested before being sent out, and therefore there was no way this could have been a bad ECM even though it was installed at the dealership. Don't trust this company. There are cheaper alternatives and at least in this case, they were not honest, wasted my time and hard earned money. You'd think that being a Texas company, they would have treated a veteran with a Purple Heart with more honesty. I now understand why when I first tried purchasing this ECM from Auto ECM with a Discover Card, it was flagged for "security reasons." It sounds like they've had enough charge backs to raise flags with Discover.

Very bad service, charge over price lay about replacing and repair! !!!!!!!!!! They are not hanust…read moreat all.
