I had been working hard to keep both my parents safe during the pandemic, but I am certainly no pedicurist, so I asked her to wait a little longer. A little while after nail salons were allowed to open I gave my mom the green light to go ahead with all the proper precautions. She drove to a few and they looked a little crowded. Finally she came across Becky's. As soon as she was done, she called me, thrilled with her experience. Clients were limited to only a couple at a time, masks were required and temperatures were checked. Hand sanitizer was available upon arrival and departure too. Becky was absolutely wonderful. She was the perfect antidote after months of very limited social contact. They had a great conversation and by the time she left, my mom was asking all of us to go there and support Becky. She even paid for my brother to get a pedicure, his first at 53 years old! I went too. My toes weren't looking so good, even with my self-pedicure. Like my mom said, Becky was wonderful and the young man that works with her too!! You really feel safe with all the precautions they are taking and also it's so nice to speak with such friendly people. We traded stories and by the end it was like I had a new friend. I went back yesterday and Becky asked about my whole family. She clearly knows and cares about everyone who walks through her door. Long story short, someone here ripped the nails off and it damaged my nail bed. She also sneezed on me without a mask and said it was allergies, but her prescription antibiotic for pneumonia/conjunctivitis was on the counter. WOW I was so impressed with all the safety measures this salon has taken to help keep all clients and staff safe. For starters I made an appointment and the pedicure chair and technician was ready and waiting for me. Second EVERYONE working was wearing both a mask as well as a face shield. All clients had masks on as well. Third when you come into the salon they take your temperature, they also sanitize your hands and shoes. They were only using ever other chair and also installed plexiglass to separate nail technicians with the clients. And the last thing they did that really impressed me was keep track of everyone name and number they worked on Incase someone gets sick they have the ability to track everyone. THANK YOU PRETTY NAILS! All these things you are doing I'm sure are at a great cost to the salon but please know I'm was so appreciative that you all were taking the protocols so seriously.
