I'm starting this review of by admitting I am an incredibly picky person. Firstly, they require masks upon entering the shop- thank goodness. I'm very glad about this especially because they don't have to do this according to state law now- it made me feel very safe. Secondly, their pedicurists are fantastic- perfect amount of pressure, they're quick and neat. Thirdly, I did tips and powder ombré nails with matte top coat. One of the tips was placed crookedly- the technician noticed and redid it. It takes me forever to decide on a color. My sister (who was with me) recommended I don't go with my usual beige tones and do an ombré nail. Well, I'm not a fan of pink and all the options she showed me were. The first round; the technician did clear- didn't look good. No questions, no comments, she redid it with the beige color I chose, added the ombré again, and it was perfect. Smooth, not bulky, evenly rounded oval nails. 100% recommend. Rosa did an excellent job. read more

I called in the morning to schedule an appointment for today, and they were able to accommodate us at 2:15 p.m., along with my friend. We initially planned to get manicures, but we decided to go for pedicures at the last minute. The owner was very flexible and managed to accommodate our request. We both went for the #3 pedicure, which includes a massage and hot wax on the heels of the feet, along with hot stones. It was excellent! I feel bad writing this review. The technician was nice. However, my daughter got her nails polished less than 8 hours ago and they are already chipping. I went for a pedicure. They have several options (10, I believe). I chose a mid price option $47 with a 10 minute hot stone massage. I wanted gel polish so I was expecting a little extra for that. The girl did an excellent job. I was just a little taken back by the total pre-tip price of $72. There was not only an up charge for getting new gel polish but also for removing the old gel polish. In Alabama, salons include the removal fee in the charge for new gel polish. I made an appointment for an SNS dip the next morning. The cost of that was much more reasonable. I think pre-tip it was $47 + $6 for two special nail designs. That included a manicure--oiled and trimmed cuticles and massaged some lotion in at the end. read more

They accommodated me as a walk-in, which I appreciate. I also think the final result of polish application was very clean and professional. However, the process was a bit unpleasant- they painfully nipped and scraped my cuticles. They rushed the gel curing- giving each layer maybe 30 secs to cure (when I thought it was safer to allow a full minute to prevent allergies?). And for the price, I was hoping for a bit more pampering and care. At most, I got a rough 15 second hand massage with lotion mixed in with nail file dust that they didn't bother cleaning off. Maybe I should have been more confrontational in the moment, but then I would have been complaining constantly. I'm now 1 week into the manicure and my cuticles look chewed up and the nails are chipped, despite being gel. read more

I had 10:30 appointment, I was able to walk in and get right in the chair without wait. The nail salon was so peaceful, the staff was friendly and attentive. I get a gel manicure here just about every two weeks and, while I try to make an appointment each time, I never ask for a specific staff member because every person who has worked on my nails has done a beautiful job. So I know I'm going to be happy with the results regardless. I always feel welcomed, relaxed and never rushed. Normally I get my nails done in NYC. However, when your 7 months pregnant and it's getting hot, it's a hassle. Edited review: 2 stars for customer service because they are all very nice. But for the past 6-8 months of dip powder have been horrendous. I can't get the polish to last a week without breaking off and chipping. They will fix it for free but to go back 3 times in two weeks is ridiculous. I stopped in to Bright Nail to have the gel polish on my nails removed. aA younger technician greeted me and proceeded to remove the gel by buffing it off with an electric tool. I had to stop her because I could feel the heat penetrating my nail. the gel was the scrapped iff with the result being that my nail are peeling and chipping even after 3 weeks. I would have been better off peeing it off myself. The new regular polish was applied heavily even though it was sheer Ballet Slippers, and after a few hours, unfortunately it did not survive dings. very disappointing. read more

Went here on a whim because I wanted to find a nail salon closer to where I live and am so glad I did! I called ahead for an appointment and only had to wait a few minutes before a technician was available. They have a wide variety of colors to choose from for regular and gel nails. My technician, Jennifer, was amazing and did a great job with my nails. It's been a week and absolutely no chips and super glossy. I'll definitely be back. Prices were very reasonable! I am impressed at how warm & welcoming they made me feel. I had just finished packing so a foot and neck massage was welcomed and they are excellent. My nails look great and so do my toes. I did the powder manicure with a French nail finish because it lasts longer and still is classic. If you haven't found your nail salon yet, this is the place for you! Just had a pretty awful experience here. My gel manicure was completely rushed. My technician cut me a couple times even though I told her not to cut my cuticles too much because I hate getting cut. The paint job is not great and I have paint on the skin surrounding my nails. Also. not really sure what their cleaning protocol is for tools because my tools were soaking in some cloudy solution, not from a clean packet. There was no autoclave machine in sight. I got my nails done 2 days ago and I'm obsessed with the new colors they have for the fall! I am a senior in college and I have been seeing Nicole since I was a sophomore. I saw a review saying they do not have much of a selection for SNS, and to be honest they have one of the largest selections I've seen. They are constantly updating them and receiving new colors. I live on Long Island, but go to school here in CT and I would seriously make the drive on my breaks just to get my nails done here. The salon is very clean and nicely updated. I would definitely recommend making an appointment though because walk ins sometimes have to wait, because they get pretty busy. Their health protocols are very good but the work is subpar - not only was the pedicure was frustratingly bad, the manicure tech not only kicked my foot while sitting at her station so she had to redo one of my toes ( not well either) she was extremely rough. Through Covid-19, they have added numerous safety precautions including plexiglass dividers between customer and nail technician. They also have plastic screens between each pedicure chair. This place was a great find after the nail salon I used to go to closed down. Nicole has done everything possible to keep her customers and employees safe during the pandemic. I had the best experience today at Bright Nails! I'm visiting from out of town and it was my first time there. I was able to make a same day appointment and was taken immediately upon entering! From the moment that the manicurist started my gel manicure I knew this wasn't going to be a good experience. He painted one coat in my whole Nail and then only painted some nails halfway leaving a noticeable line. When I asked him to correct it, he didn't understand why I was u happy with what he was doing. Three days later I've had the polish flake off five of my nails. Regular manicures last me longer and gel usually goes two weeks before chipping of any type. Maybe some of the techs there are good but the gentleman who took care of me didn't really seem to know what he was doing. I would avoid if you want your mani to last more than two days. read more
