We come here frequently, mostly when the weather is bad. It's a great place to let the kids burn off some steam. I'm giving a 4-star rating, mostly because the staff has been so enthusiastic and helpful lately. The employees are awesome! The facility has the usual issues (out of order card kiosk, etc.), but all in all, it's a pleasant hangout. read more

Staff is rude and difficult to work with. All look very unhappy and unwelcoming. Mini golf and arcade was okay, bowling ally machine was having issues, and go kart experience and staff were terrible. We took our family (6 people) and another family (7 people) to bowl and play games and the experience was awful. When we first arrived we asked to have 2 lanes next to each other to bowl and were told that they didn't have any. We looked at the lanes and explained that we saw quite a few open next to each other and were told that the first 2 we saw were not working and that the next 2 we saw where spoken for by another group coming in later. We asked about lanes 2 and 3 that were not being used and the counter boy said 'oh yeah it looks like those are open.' So we all payed for our games and shoes and after getting our balls we went to our lanes and there were other people playing on lane 3. Went back to the counter and the counter boy said 'oh must have seen an open lane and started using it...do you want a different lane?' NOO we want the one we paid for and was told that they had a to get a manager to fix the mistake. Finally after getting the other people out of our lane we able to start to bowling. Well, during the entire game we encountered nothing but trouble on lane 2. It wouldn't put down all the pins...some starting with only 5 some dropping only 2...the gate would drop randomly while the ball was in motion...we continued to have to keep going to the counter to tell them that it wasn't working properly and they kept having to go back to fix it but never once did they apologize or offer our money back. Which was quite a bit since we had so many people. We will never bowl there again. And not to mention that the arcade games were wayyyyyy overpriced. read more

After seeing a manager talk down to an employee in front of customers, I'm pretty sure I won't be coming back here. I have 5 kids, ages 4-9, so it's a bummer for my kiddos but I don't want to support a business that treats its employees so poorly! read more

Great staff and place but could use more video games. Never overcrowded and the younger crew is very friendly. It seems alot of other family fun type company's are ok with having their staff appear to be "bothered" when dealing with customers but I have never had an unwelcomed feeling at Family Fun Center. read more

I had my son's 5th birthday party here today. My husband had to work so I was doing this solo. So many great things to say. #1. The price is worth every penny and reasonable. We did the basic package but it was perfect. They set up the decorations -included in the price (you pick two colors- or you can provide your own) I just showed up with my kid, the cake and his present. They directed everyone to the room. Got names, shoe sizes and gave kids wrist bands. You get about 4 turns (as a group) on the bumper cars, bowling, and each kid gets a $2 card for the arcade. #2. The help is awesome. Like I mentioned, they decorate, they get all the shoes and names, they load the names into the computer for bowling. They make sure everything is taken care of. These ladies were on point! And they were friendly. These weren't cranky teens working a weekend job. They were great with the kids. 3. The kids LOVED it. It was close to 3 hours of easy entertainment for the kids. It is totally doable for a single parent or one who's spouse can't be there. You get big bang for your buck. We had 8 kids and that was a great amount so that the kids didn't have to wait toooo long on turns bowling. We "added" two pizza to our package and they were huge and more than enough for the kids and adults and were tasty. I would recommend this for anyone looking for a place that is reasonably priced and to take the stress out of party planning. read more

Wow, what a difference a year makes! They have just completed a remodel and have added indoor bumper cars that all the kids can ride, no matter how tall. The manager and staff are all new and it seems that customer service is top priority. Gone are the old days of uninterested and grumpy "fun center" employees. It is safe and clean and even has vintage video games now. I got my Asteroids fix while the kids played in the arcade! We played mini-golf with the kids in the beautiful gardens and I have to say, the pizza was some of the best I have had in Bend. They are making them fresh in their new kitchen. The kids had a blast and are begging to go back to cash in the arcade tickets they won. They are saving up for an iPod and some Webkinz so I guess we will be visiting Sun Mountain alot this summer.
