    A must visit if you are shopping in Chinatown. Multigenerational mom and pop Chinese style charcuterie shop. Pork sausage, duck liver sausage, cured pork belly, dried duck and chicken. You slice them thin and either stir fry or steam for 5 mins. It's delicious and super affordable. 4 links on sausage and 2 links of pork belly is about $10. Not many shops like this left in Chinatown so go visit while you still can.

    Hands down the BEST Chinese sausages I've had. My Chinese is limited but, pointing and saying how many pounds, got me a variety o sausages and lap yuk (cured pork belly). I didn't realize (based on other reviews) that they had a far wider selection. My parents and in-laws were quite impressed with my souvenir gift (I'm from Chicago). Next time, I will definitely leave room in my suitcase and maybe try some of the other offerings. Price was super reasonable (7.95/lb for the sausages) especially considering recent inflation. CASH ONLY, so be prepared.

    Got this from the store yesterday. Not sure what it is called in English but it is one of those leaf wrapped rice. The yellow kind. It is disgusting. Maybe it is our bad luck. It's moldy and smell bad. Will not buy from here again.

    I just happened to walk by this store. Turns out Chinese sausage is one of our favorite Chinese staples. There were other dried meats such as pressed duck, Pork, and other dried sausages. It was incredible to see the variety and they appeared to all be made there. My Chinese isn't the greatest and the shop keeper's English was minimal. But he helped me decide in which pack of Chinese Sausage to buy. Prices were very reasonable.

    Great place to get authentic Chinese preserved meats and sausages made from beef, pork, duck and chicken. I wish they provide samples, but you have to buy packages or lbs of their products to try. Most of their preserved meats and sausages are made in house. The staff speaks limited English, so just point and order if you don't speak Chinese. Most of their products are labeled with English, but if you have dietary restrictions or allergies, you might want to be careful. If you're making fried rice, Chinese casseroles or cooking something with meats, this place is the spot to pick up some fresh dry, preserved meats for your dish.

    Impress her with your sausages! You can even impress your mom, your mother-in-law or future In-laws with some nice fresh, big, juicy sausages. (Ok, stop snickering) With many Asian New Year celebrations just a few weeks away a visit to this sausage shop is an annual tradition with me. Pre-package or refrigerated are for other time. For Chinese New Year I come there for the standard "lop chong" curled pork and some "op chong" duck-liver sausage. This is the bacon of Chinese food, common Cantonese names are: lap cheung, lop chong, lop cheong. Chinese sausages most common variety is made with pork and pork fat, but you'll also find other varieties made with duck liver and beef. The taste of the cured meat is a sweet-salty flavor. The liver sausages are the dark ones. At $5.95 per pound it is cheap. So give the best sausage you can give! from Sun Ming Jan Chinese Sausages Shop. (Cash only)

    This is a review for the Chinese tamale aka zongzi aka "joong" only. I came in one day because I walked by and saw the joong in the window. $1.65 for a Chinese tamale. They have two types: with peanuts, or with skinless mung bean. I had the one with peanuts, and was very satisfied. It's not the best I've had (my grandma's was the best), but it's good enough to satisfy a craving and definitely worth getting again. I know fillings are a matter of preferences, but this joong was pretty simple. Mine had a piece of Chinese sausage aka lahp cheung, peanuts, and a piece of fatty (but not too fatty) pork. I can't stand it when I eat joong, and they don't use fatty pork. Overall, a very good sized joong that was tasty and satisfying. My only complaint, and I know it's a matter of preference, is that I wish it included salted egg as one of the fillings. Oh, and the older man that helped me was extremely nice, friendly, and funny! FYI, you walk into this business and order the food you want through a screen window. When I went, I was the only customer and didn't have an issue with overcrowding like most places in Chinatown. The ordering area was large enough to accommodate a wheelchair and/or stroller. They sell all types of Chinese sausage, so yes, this place is kid friendly. Cash only.

    We were looking for a place that sold lop chong to make no mai fan and were pleasantly surprised to find a store that sells ONLY dried Chinese sausages/pork/pork belly. Such a gem in NYC Chinatown. They have a sliding window for when you arrive and I'm pretty sure this is a CASH ONLY place unless you know exactly what you want and can point out the item. We were in a line of 60+ and over ladies/men but were oogling all the meat trying to figure out which one we wanted. No fuss and definitely CASH ONLY. All worth it because we just cooked up these Chinese sausages and they were DELICIOUS. Steam them while you're making rice and they have that perfect salty and meaty sausage that you can chop up and eat by itself or with rice and veggies.

Obviously. Then came: Dry-aged porterhouse meatballs with gorgonzola crema and black garlic. Good--but in my world, meatballs belong in a proper red sauce. I'm traditional like that. Main event: Bone-in dry-aged prime sirloin. Delicious. Tuscan-style, not drowning in butter. Ordered medium rare... received "this cow has a LinkedIn profile." Sides absolutely stole the show: The Quality Potato (elite) Gnocchi & cheese (life-changing) Brussels sprouts (so we can keep pretending we're making good choices) Dessert:Carrot cake ice cream slice + espresso. A reminder may be needed: servers are not doing charity work, and customers paying premium prices deserve basic respect. The entire mood of the evening was ruined. For a restaurant that charges what it does, this level of service is unacceptable and embarrassing. High prices do not excuse low standards. For comparison, Fogo de Chão consistently delivers professionalism, warmth, and respect ! everything this restaurant failed to provide. There is also various banchan offered and this time, they were beyond kind enough to offer refills. The last time we were here, we ordered just as much food and they stated they normally did not offer refills, which I thought was very odd. With its casual bougie aesthetics, this spot has quickly become one of my favorite eateries in Fort Lee-lee, It beautifully blends Korean, Japanese, and American flavors in a way that feels both comforting and elevated.
